Thanks again Glenn. Its good to be up front and clear. Like you I am not interested in scoring points but only in the truth. Aviso, by his own (rare) admission has got things wrong in the past both in content and manner. As he says, he does not like to " look down." His contacts and good friends include even the visionary Jacinta. I love the honesty of reporting in "She went in Haste to the Mountains." It includes the rivalry and petty jealousies displayed by some of the seers and their families and compares them to that of the families of the Sons of Thunder in scripture. I wonder if any of that persists. Most mothers want the best for their children and will try to push them to the front of the line. From my readings I have seen no sign of envy or jealousy in Conchita although, like you, I suspect she is no push-over. She is humble to the point of anonymity. You'd have to be tough to survive intact the onslaught of supposedly well meaning criticism that you guys have endured. The point of my comment is that I find your kind of honesty and forthrightness far more effective and helpful than the dramatic and titillating way of Aviso's intrigue. We are still waiting for his article. I wonder what it will reveal. I am sure that he will be careful with the facts as he sees them and hopefully will cite his sources if anything is new. Of course his hostile attitude to Pope Francis makes me wary of his Catholicity. He is entitled to his opinion but it is not one that I share and it colours my regard for the rest of his witness. I will stick with your refreshing contributions and reminders on this site. Cheers.

Speaking of Aliens I am being eaten alive by insects on the camp site at the moment, even one off the dogs started squealing and rolling about.

I wondered why there were no other caravans here. Well wonder I no more. They seem to regard us as some kind of carry out.

Hate fills my heart and rebellious questions about why God created the little xzcybs

I want to respond to a few points in your posting here. First of all, I don't believe Bogdan was judging you at all. What he was doing was preaching to you which is a very different thing!

You say the fact that Vassula "inspired" Bogdan is neither here nor there. You say even the MDM lady inspired people. But Bogdan didn't say Vassula inspired him. He said her messages CONVERTED him. And that is the test for God's works. Many people followed the MDM lady's messages for a time but all of them will have been believers to begin with. The devil cannot convert people to God. The conversion test is why Medjugorje is so patently authentic. It was because the Vatican was made aware of the countless conversions that the True Life in God messages had produced that Cardinal Ratzinger agreed to initiate a dialogue with Vassula.

As a reader of the TLIG messages for 25 years, my biggest disappointment has been to see how some followers of Garabandal and Medjugorje have been so quick to condemn Vassula. This is particularly disappointing in the case of Garabandal supporters as Vassula's messages made the Garabandal apparitions known to many thousands of people who had never heard of them previously, and I was one of them. Glenn, you say Conchita has refused to discuss anything about Vassula. Conchita is a wise lady and I would advise you to follow her example.

Hey David, mind your own business, I was not talking to you. I was talking to Bogdan, and Peter B, who BTW was the only person not to criticize me BUT try and educate me as to more recent church dealings and opinions of Vassula, which I appreciated learning, and changing my perspective. If I take your unwise advise and not talk, then maybe the 100,000 or so followers I have on several sites ,might still have a negative view of Vassula, and instead maybe its my new perspective ( after some more research ) that changes their mind to accept her.
Next time , don't you judge someone you don't know, try enlightening someone like Peter B.

It was unreal. I live 2 blocks from the water, and the water rose so fast that in 30 minutes, it lifted my cars from the street and deposited them up against my house. It was a great prayer motivator, lol.

I love New York...and NJ. No PC pussy footing there. Straight to the point. The nearest I got to it was driving my Sri Lankan Anglican friend and his Muslim fiancee to their wedding in a borrowed NY Yellow cab through London to their wedding. (They both converted) We got stuck in traffic outside Harrods and got a cheer from the tourists. Hope you can hear my cheer. Give your old head a rest and have a beer.

I'm inclined to go with Aviso on this controversy. I just can't picture Our Lady talking about something as banal as the question of aliens. For one thing, Our Lady's primary mission any time she speaks to us in apparitions is the salvation of souls. Nowhere in the annals of Salvation History do we find mention of an alien race that was redeemed by Christ. I sort of hope that Aviso is correct and that this is just a rumor that was allowed to get out of hand. Because if it is indeed true as Glenn says then it would be a major strike in my book against the veracity of Garabandal.

Perhaps Conchita should issue a statement of some sort on the matter in order to clear up the confusion.

That's great "thinking" Richard, lets have this one issue determine the validity of Garabandal ,and TOTALLY IGNORE :

The documentation of over 2000 appearances of our Blessed Mother .

The video footage of the host appearing out of thin air on Conchita’s tongue with dozens of witnesses standing next to her, as Mary predicted days earlier.

Thousands of photo’s ( and video proof ) of “ecstatic walks” forwards AND BACKWARDS on rocky cow paths, and FALLING BACKWARDS ON THEIR HEADS totally unharmed !

The girls in ecstasy unharmed and unfeeling by doctors poking them with needles, pinching them, burning them with matches, throwing sand in their eyes and shinning bright light trying to make them blink, and could not !

12 year old Girls in ecstasy being able to lift one another over their heads, BUT 2 men could not lift one girl up ?

The Blessed Mother voice was recorded, and a photo taken.

Dozens of rosaries, and religious objects placed on one table, in a pile, and after Mary kissed them, the girls ,WITHOUT LOOKING AT ANYONE , managed to return the item to its rightful owners ?

The public statements of support for the apparitions by notable Catholic leaders like Pope Paul VI, (Saint ) Pope John Paul II,
Saint Padre Pio, Blessed" Mother Teresa, Saint Josemarie Escriva,
Saint Madre Maravillas, Blessed Maria Rafols & Mother Maria Naya, Bishop Joao Venancio , Bishop of Fatima,
Archbishop Manuel Pio López, of Jalapa (Mexico) , Mother Angelica, to name just some.

Mary’s insistence on Repentance, Confession, Mass, Communion, the Rosary, the brown scapular, all indicate that this was of God, for no other explanation is possible.

    Brilliant !!!

    Relax,

We are required to test the spirits, especially when we are dealing with an unapproved private relevation.

I certainly hope Garabandal is true and have said so before here. But that doesn't mean my mind is made up.

A positive message, the support of Saints, preternatural phenomena: none of these things is enough to validate the veracity of Garabandal or any other private revelation. Only the authority of the Church via the local bishop or the bishop of Rome is capable of validating Garabandal. That has not happened yet and in the meantime we should approach Garabandal or any other unapproved private revelation cautiously.

Hi Aloysius, please do not be angry with me, I respect your opinion but please do not have any doubt of my Catholicity, I am competing with no one, my good friend Glenn himself do not hesitate to contact me privately if he has a doubt or whatever, I am doing the same with my good friends as well.

But you must understand me, I cannot leave this story linked to aliens and Garabandal without giving my opinion online, my sources are close to Mercedes, they knew her quite well and some talk to me about this Great Lady, I cannot reveal what some said to me because if I reveal some news, this could be disturbing for many, what I can say for sure is that this story about aliens is a Rumor only, many questions were asked to the seers during the Apparitions, our Lady as a good Mother was pleased to reply but always in agreement with the teaching of the Church and the Catholic Catechism, many times she also refused to reply when the question or the subject were not approuved by the Church....etc....

I also wrote more than 150 articles about Garabandal, many of them are still online at whatisgarabandal.com, the website of our Good Friend Deacon John, I debunked also many other rumors as :

    The Paralytic Boy

The Warning more important that the Great Miracle

    The Year 2017

The Eucharist Saint of the Great Miracle

Pope Benedict and his connection with Garabandal

    Backward walking

    Fatima and Garabandal

    Garabandal Facts and Rumors

    The Garabandal Synod

    .....etc......

as I said many of these articles are still online (year 2013 and 2014), my opinion about Pope Francis which I will of course talk about on my new blog as well should not put my Catholicy in doubt but on the contrary as I am a very late converts and as I said at the Pines, I own my Baptism to the Catholic Church why I would direspect his Vicar without reason, for your information, we are many today even on this Forum having been surprised by this Pontificate, there is nothing new here and I can say already and according again to my own information, in my opinion this is only the beginning, it looks that next year could be an important year for our Church but as usual time will tell only.

What else to add, maybe yes of course Garabandal is a heavy Cross, I would say very heavy even but I can also say and this is 100% sure, Conchita, Loli, Jacinta as Mary Cruz have always been the best friends in this world, I am not aware of any jealousy or whatever between them, they spent hours talking by phone or directly whenever they had time, of course I am aware of some problems between their families but realy nothing bad or important, when I meet Jacinta, Maximina or even my good Friend Father Rolando, the current Priest of Garabandal, I never put my eyes down, sure few in the village where my blog was read as well, told me during my last stay that I should be more carefull especially when it's about Rome but I just answer them, if some of my articles do not please someone in the village, please do not read them anymore, so this is me, always at the service of the Lady who converts me, our Lady of Mount Carmel, today was the aliens, yesterday the Backward walking or the Paralytic Boy, tomorrow maybe something else but as long as I am online and if necessary, I will not hesitate to give my opinion again especially when it's about Garabandal.

PS : I like to ask especially those who do not share my opinions to Pray for me so I ask you, Pray also for me, thank you.

I have often thought how difficult it must be not to believe in God. To my simple mind there is much more evidence for his existence than against it. Just so with Garabandal. The evidence is abunbant. There is more than enough to validate its supernatural origin and there are many who see this including those including those at the top. Even human justice only asks for a verdict beyond reasonable doubt and iften relies on the expertise of witness. Again there is a super abundance if such expertise relating to Garabandal, spiritual and scientific. Of course, the final verdict is still to be delivered but look at the history of Fatima and Lourdes. To the faithful there was no doubt. Let me put it this way...if a Pope/s was to suggest he believed in Garabandal and a local bishop persisting in demostratively poor investigative process said he did not believe, which would you follow. This is exactly what has happened at Garabandal. Popes have shown unqualified support for it. So have saints. One local Bishop badly led and badly leading has not. Successors to this poorly informed bishop have chosen not to disturb the status quo in respect for authority but not the way that authority was exercised. This is evident from the warming changes in attitude over the years. Sure caution is always good but only if it considers the evidence well. I will believe unless I am told not to. That I know is my choice. Others have theirs but the should not disregard or devalue opinion of the highest quality. I would suggest the opinion of the local bishop who withheld approval did not come into this category and therefore has less credibility. The Vatican has known the date of the Miracle for 50 years. Why do think Pope Francis is working so hard to change our attitudes? Knowing this date I believe he is helping to prepare us for The Warning. Just my faith.

I never expected such a long and detailed response from you Aviso. Thank you for time and effort it took. I will try to find again the source of evidence for rivalry in the early days. It was just the normal course of childhood friendship. I am pleased to hear this does not persist and would have been very surprised to hear otherwise. As requested, I will remember you in my prayers at mass this morning.

    POPE PAUL VI AND GARABANDAL

The Blessed Virgin., in conversation with the young visionaries of Garabandal, mentioned the Holy Father on several occasions, and told them, "Pray, pray for the Pope" . It is an interesting fact that Pope Paul VI issued his encyclical "Mysterium Fidei" concerning "the weakening of devotion toward the Holy Eucharist" on September 3, 1965, only eleven weeks after Our Lady had complained, "Less and less importance is being given to the Eucharist."
Early in 1966 Conchita was called to the Vatican. Cardinal Ottaviani, the pro-Prefect of the Sacred Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (Holy Office) had instructed Fr. Luna: "With or without the permission of the bishop, bring the young girls to me." During January 12-16 she was interviewed for 2 1/2 hours by the Cardinal and saw other members of the Congregation, afterwards she saw the Pope and gave him the date of the Great Miracle to come. She then paid a visit to Padre Pio, the famous stigmatist. Upon her return, at an audience in St. Peter's, the Holy Father came to her and announced joyfully in a clear voice, "Conchita, I, the Pope, bless you and with me the whole Church blesses you."

The November 7, 1968 bulletin of Peru's Legion Blanca under the imprimatur of Mgr. Alfonso Zapana Belliza, Bishop of Tacna, Peru, quotes the late Pope Paul VI as having said at a private audience these inspiring words: "Garabandal the most beautiful story of humanity since the birth of Jesus Christ! It is also the second sojourn of the most Holy Virgin on this earth, and we have no adequate words to express our gratitude."

Pope Paul VI had all the while shown a very special interest in the apparitions. At an audience given to Fr. Jose Escalda, S.J., the latter mentioned there were many opponents of the apparitions even amongst his own people. His Holiness promptly rejoined:
"It doesn't matter; tell these gentlemen that it is the Pope who has said that it is most important and most urgent to make these messages known to the world."
    paul vi.jpg

This is a very important collection of quotes ! Why ? Because it shows that the Pope not only met with Conchita, but he blessed her and believed her ! AND in the last sentence asked for the message to made better known to the world ! When people ask , on who's authority do I promote , I tell them THE POPE'S !
