This is a little off topic as it is not a Catholic movie or religious but, I thought I would share anyways.

In theaters now in the US. It's a movie about a poor high school in California. The new teacher in town (Kevin Costner) pulls together a successful cross country running team from unlikely students and transforms their lives and his. You do get a small taste of the deep faith of the families with Mexican heritage. There was at least one shot of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

We just loved it. Always love when we can find a good movie that is appropriate for our family to see together. Took our nine year old son.

    Thanks I will watch this.

I saw Kevin's interview on EWTN and was very impressed. I think , looking back on it all his film content has been good and uplifting.

I've always loved his Field of Dreams movie. To me it's always had a bit of a spiritual meaning to it and as an American guy in his 50s- baseball and memories of your own dad are sometimes emotional especially when your dad is gone. With opening day around the corner, I will have to watch full movie but here are final row scenes (Spoiler alert).
