Fredrico, I see you are from Brazil. Have you met Pedro Regis? His messages speak often about the hard times ahead for Brazil. What do you make of this?
Pedro already came to my town a few times. People is very divided about his veracity. The Bishop in my city is against him. Since 2006 when he started speaking only about catastrophe I began to suspect him. He speaks in a veiled way, difficult to interpret and i was thinking if heaven would waste time sending this kind of obscure message. For example: "Broken stone and light without a glow; this will be the greatest cause of your pain. I suffer because of what is coming for you". Why saying things like this? It's not helpful. I have no formed opinion about him yet. I just stopped reading his locutions. I'm coming to think it is a mistake to keep reading locutions that last for decades... and nothing happens
Fredrico, I understand. We live in a world where we want everything now. Fast burgers, instant gratification etc... I imagine when the storm hits each of us on our own environment we will come to appreciate heavens messages about preperation (spiritually and physically). Redundancy can become mundane. We always want something new, something more sensational. I tend to look at his messages as means to remind us where our focus needs to be. When the storm hits our land it will be good to remmeber what the heart of his messages are all about.
I think if we live focused on prayers and sacraments we will all know what to do. I never think in that way because for me there is nothing new. everything is revelead. there will be warning, miracle, persecution, antichrist, triumph of imaculate heart, period of peace etc. etc. etc. the details we can get in our prayer when the Lord decide to show us. but I am in favor of short communications from heaven. like that messages to Cletus Sheffers and Vernes and other specific messages. that "culture of locutions" is not a Catholic Tradition. sorry for my bad english, i have to practice more.
Frederico. Heaven's messages are not always short. Read the Mystical City of God some time. The length of the messages shouldn't be a determinant of whether they are accurate or not. The content is what matters.
Frederico, There are many of the messages which have already come true. I posted them on a thread a while back. I for one am a fan of Pedreo Regis. His messages are all about begging humanity to come back to the Church, stay faithful, come back to Christ and not to be afraid. That is what they should be judged on. As long as his own Bishop is for him I don't see a problem.
You are comparing different works with different objectives and different historical moments. I have the complete Mystical City and had already read it. The portuguese translation is very good because the original is in spanish. I am not able to express myself well in English, and i apologize for that, but it is possible to deduce that i am talking about end times locutions and that "culture of locutions". People reading and re-reading locutions that say the same thing, locutions that last for decades and decades and nothing happens. This appetite for locutions is not a Catholic Tradition, and i insist that this can be dangerous. I am not condemning anyone. It's just my point of view. I finish here. Pray for me.

Pedro Regis is one of the most accurate and incredible messengers in these dark times. In addition no only does he have approval from his local Bishop but Priests testimonies convey his authenticity. First, I have many links and even the whole article from Signs and Wonders of Our Times that condenses nicely Pedro's messages it is from the Spring/Summer of 2011 issue, part 2. Perhaps i should start another thread since it will be somewhat long? Secondly, someone quoted Pope Benedict emeritus on his way to Fatima that "some are mistaken that they think the Fatima message is over." and "we will know over the course of the next 7 years." The first part i have found, however I can't seem to find a source for the "next 7 years?" Thanks!

The prophetic mission of Fatima is not complete Dearly beloved brothers and sisters, I too have come as a pilgrim to Fatima, to this “home” from which Mary chose to speak to us in modern times. I have come to Fatima to rejoice in Mary’s presence and maternal protection. I have come to Fatima, because today the pilgrim Church, willed by her Son as the instrument of evangelization and the sacrament of salvation, converges upon this place. I have come to Fatima to pray, in union with Mary and so many pilgrims, for our human family, afflicted as it is by various ills and sufferings. Finally, I have come to Fatima with the same sentiments as those of Blessed Francisco and Jacinta, and the Servant of God Lúcia, in order to entrust to Our Lady the intimate confession that “I love” Jesus, that the Church and priests “love” him and desire to keep their gaze fixed upon him as this Year for Priests comes to its end, and in order to entrust to Mary’s maternal protection priests, consecrated men and women, missionaries and all those who by their good works make the House of God a place of welcome and charitable outreach. Henceforth our hope has a real foundation, it is based on an event which belongs to history and at the same time transcends history: Jesus of Nazareth. The enthusiasm roused by his wisdom and his saving power among the people of that time was such that a woman in the midst of the crowd – as we heard in the Gospel – cried out: “Blessed is the womb that bore you, and the breasts that nursed you!”. And Jesus said: “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it!” (Lk 11:27-28). But who finds time to hear God’s word and to let themselves be attracted by his love? Who keeps watch, in the night of doubt and uncertainty, with a heart vigilant in prayer? Who awaits the dawn of the new day, fanning the flame of faith?
