Mac, its this exact point that always gets me wondering. The first time I read the secret, I was amazed and wondered "is this it?". Apparently Mother Angelicas face had a similar look of puzzlement when she heard the secret being read for the first time.

Reading this tonight I had the thought that possibly the 'dying pope' could be the papacy of Benedict XVI - there were certainly shouts of victory from the enemy when he stepped down. I also never understood the bit about throwing books etc at the ship but tonight it instantly struck me as the constant assault in the printed media and the internet.
The thought occurred to me that maybe the mountain mentioned in the 3rd fatima secret is the mountain where those trapped Christians are. The ones trying to escape Isis. The are and will continue to be martyered. I don't know but just I would post this thought.

I always thought the hill in the secret with the Pope on it was one of the 'seven' hills of Rome and that the Pope would be martyred in Rome.
