Attacked By a Demon Last Night?!

A very strange night for me and my wife last night. From about 3 am to 4:30 was when all of this happened. I was having a very strange dream that I don't remember much at all any more as to the details of the dream but I do remember in full detail what happend at the end of the dream. The frist dream all I remember was that a lot of people were gathered along with my wife with some prepped items to be evacuating somewhere by boat. Then I remember being on a mountain that was a volcano and we knew it was going to erupt. I knew if we could get on out sail boat (which we don't have) and push out to sea away from the volcano we would be fine. I remember getting on the boat but being bothered that I did not get to grab some prepped items like a knife and what not. Then we were on the boat. Now is where I became aware of the dream and was awake but still in that state of sleep before opening eyes fully awake. All of a sudden there was this spirit mist that came over us. In a very sweet voice, the mist told me it was the spirt of Art and was trying to seduce me to let me know that all was allright and it was good. When it said Art I could feel dancing and painting and music etc... but I knew instantly that it was evil. At this point we were not on the boat any more but in our normal bed. The spirit mist began to move to hover over my wife and I got the image and feeling that it was trying to arouse her sexually. I instantly grabbed the mist and it was over top of me and holding me down with at my chest. It was so heavy. I could not move but I had no fear at all and knew what to do. I immediately prayed the Hail Mary and litterly right after the I said Hail Mary!!! It was gone and nowhere to be found. I finsihed the prayer with eyes still closed and in that dream state and one Glory Be and opened my eyes. I was not scared at all which was strange. I then got up and went to the bathroom and got back in bed and went back to sleep. It was 4:30 when I got back in bed.

This morning I got up and got my shower and got ready for work and came back into the bedroom to kiss my wife goodbye and she was not in the bed. I found her in the guest room (which is no big deal. That is our original bed as a married couple and is so comfortable and once in a great while when she is having a rough night sleeping or when I am having a rough night tossing, we will go to that bed to not disturb the other). I asked her why she was in there and she said from 3 am to 5 am she could not sleep and was just tossing so she got up at 5 and went to the other bed. I had no idea she left. I have not had much time to talk to her yet about it in more detail but I told her I had a very interesting dream and then event during that same time. Now that I am reflecting on all this it was quite alarming but at the same time I never felt at danger and knew exactly how to handle the situation. I guess since I just consecrated to Jesus through Mary on Wednesday the attack is on and unfortunatley the attack to me is to get at my wife who really does not share the same passion for all this

I had a similar experience one night in August 2012 then next month I read this message and felt Our Lady was very much involved in my life. Well done on your consecration so much good will come from it.

 

The devil being in a bad mood always puts me in a good mood..and the devil is always, always, always in a bad mood.

As my Spiritual Director used to say to me, take it is a compliment, he isn't going to knock himself out hitting on his friends.

 

Well I also had some time ago a very bizarre experience. I was in bed. I think I was dreaming or half awake and I felt something evil came down towards me. Anyway, I could not move anymore. It was something very heavy and I was completely paralyzed. But I was not afraid because I knew what to do. I prayed one Holy Mary and... it disappeared. I never experienced this before.

 

Andy, do you have sacramentals- blessed candles, holy water, and blessed salt? It sounds like you need to prepare for battle. If not done already, have your priest come and bless EACH room in your home. Will keep you in prayer.

 

Things like this have happened to me since I was a little child. It all started with a very bad, scary movie I saw when I was 4.....my parents were out and my cousins were watching me.

 

Miker, every bed in the house now has a rosary on the bed post. I sleep wearing my blessed cross and miraculous medal (which is exactly what the spirit was pushing on but could not get past). Under the mattress on my wife's side of the bed is a green scapular. I plan on getting a cross and or st. Benedict medal on each entry door to the house. I had never heard of using a st. Benedict medal but this is what my mother said to do. Again I am not so concerned about me but feel that he will try to get to me through my wife which has me a bit concerned.

Bible Enthronement in the Home

Inspired by Vatican II that says that Jesus is present in His Word (the Bible) just as He is present in the Eucharist, this practice of Enthroning the Bible in the Home is transforming many homes to be a place where the presence of Jesus is felt by every member of the family who believe.



'The practice is that the Bible is placed in an altar in the prominent place in the home (usually in the living room). The Bible is always open to remind the family that Jesus is there in His Words listening to whatever the members of the family say or do. So the members of the family who are initiated to this attitude are then careful not to do or say things that will be displeasing before God. They become careful in the home just as they are careful in the church where they believe that Jesus is present. They may place flowers and electric lights to remind them of Jesus' presence in His Word, in their home.




More over the families that enthroned the Bible are encouraged at least once a week to make a prayerful reading of the bible, with all the members present if possible. The method is very simple so 'that every one can follow the discussion within that prayerful reading.'

Having your home blessed by a priest is very important. Consecrate every room to the hearts of Jesus and Mary. I have this picture in an 8x10 in my family room and in my office. Andy, always wear (also your wife !) the Brown Scapular or Scapular of Our Lady of Mount Carmel around your neck (always wear it, day and night, except when you take a shower because then the medal representing this scapular can replace the tissue - these are words of our Lady)

 

Thanks Elisa. I do wear the brown scapular except when sleeping and showering but I think I will start to wear it sleeping too. It choke me sometimes when sleeping. Sadly my wife will never wear something like this for now. The brown scapular is very special to me. I told this story on e before in the site but will tell it again. I first learned about the brown scapular over the summer of 2013. I really wanted one so I went to the catholic book store to get one. They had just sold out the day prior and said it would be a few weeks until they had more in. I decided that I would order some on the Internet instead. Before I did on a Friday I went to morning mass. I was looking in the basket after mass in church for a rosary to get for my daughter because she had just broke hers the night before. I could not find a rosary in the basket. Actually there was nothing in the basket but prayer cards and books. I kept digging and at the very bottom of the basket under everything was one brown scapular. I was so happy and amazed. I later ordered 20 more that day from the Internet and left 10 at that church and a few for my friends and gave the rest to my grandmother to give out at her retirement home.

About a month later I was grilling out and sat down in a chair by the grill and there hanging on our kids slide right in front of my face was a completely different brown scapular. I could not believe it. It as much prettier than mine but in my heart I knew it was not mine and knew that it was supposed to go to a friend out of town. I really wanted to keep it but would never replace the first one I was given from God. There is more to the second story but will save it for another time. We did ask a lot of our family and friends and other kids if they left that scapular on the slide while playing and no one claimed it.

 

Thank you Andy for sharing this. You probably know that the brown scapular should be imposed on you by a priest accompanied by a special prayer. Do wear it at night. Do not listen to what the devil is whispering into your ear : that it will "choke" you... Our Lady will never let it "choke" you, in the contrary. You can always make the cord longer so it will not "annoys" you. Mary is very sad when we do not wear it at night. That's what the person who received the message, told us. Because he too, did not want to wear it at night... But you know, the devil will not sleep when we sleep... especially at night he is very active...

 

I have a question about the brown scapular.....I was enrolled in it and wore one years ago, but stopped when it ripped and never got a new one. Could I start wearing one again, or would I need to be re-enrolled?
