Another case for 2017

There is a truly fascinating article reprinted on KeepingitCatholic blog which makes the case for the fullfilment of the Fatima prophecy about a Pope on 13 July 2017:
    http://keepingitcatholic.blogspot.co.uk/2008/05/hidden-revelations-star-of-esther-and.html

I have always enjoyed reading the Book Esther and understood that she was a type of Our Lady but I seem to have missed an awful lot. I also has no idea that Lucia had died on the 13th day of the Jewish month of Adar, a date which is so significant in Esther nor the significance of the five pointed star on the dress of Our Lady when She appeared at Fatima.

I am no scripture scholar, so the book of Esther is not easy for me to follow. However, it became clear by the end of the article that Esther and Fatima are linked. I never really wondered what the star on Our Lady of Fatima's dress stood for. I do now. It is a sad commentary how the pope's refused to comply with Our Lord's request for the consecration of France to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and to what end their refusal to do so came to. So it is with Our Blessed Mothers request for the consecration of Russia to her Immaculate Heart. Seems apparent that we are on the same path and destructive end for many popes refusing to comply with Mary's request. Its not far off now. It reminds me of Father Malachi Martin's statement when asked in an interview in 1997, the time frame of the 3rd secret to be revealed. He said "it is not 50 years away, it is not 20 years away"! Father Martin read the actual 3rd secret of Fatima when opened in 1960 by Pope John XXIII.

The pope's refusal to comply is a sad commentary however they are all being made saints. What's up with that?

I wondered that myself. Obedience, one would think, would be a benchmark for canonization. However, most believe the consecration as been done.

Did any future King of France ever consecrate France to the Sacred Heart of Jesus during the French Revolution or after it?

Were there any future kings after the French revolution?

Louis Philippe himself was forced to abdicate in 1848 and lived out his life in exile in the United Kingdom. He was the last king to rule France, although Napoleon III would serve as its last monarch

I've been wondering if the failure to consecrate Russia is really a commentary on the bishops, not the Popes. If the Pope knows for sure that there are Bishops who will not do this in union with him, it would be pointless.

When Pope Benedict's prophecy about the small, humble Church comes to pass, then the Bishops that remain loyal to the Pope will truly be in union with him, and the consecration can be done.

Now that I think of it, someone on the forum a while back made this observation - about the impossibility of the Pope doing anything in union with all the Bishops in the current state of affairs. (Whoever it was - you are brilliant!)

We know Blessed Pope John Paul II really wanted to do it, and from where or why the pressure comes from, that his advisors tell him' NO , YOU CANNOT DO THIS ,OR MENTION RUSSIA' I ve never heard a decent answer. For fear of offending the orthodox has been put forward , but to me seems weak. Why would Bishops not heed this simplest of requests? Would certainly be a good opportunity for any Pope to weed out the good and the bad , and stop promoting the bad ones.

I would be more afraid to offend God than man. That had to hurt JPII badly not to have fulfilled Our Lady of Fatima's specific request.

Not brilliant, just reporting the facts. Even in 1984, The Times religion correspondent said that several bishops had grumbled privately to him that they saw no sense in the consecration which the said was a 'backward step'. It is also believed that many of the world's bishops did not comply. In the diocese I was in there was no publicity at all and no internet in those days. I found out by accident and there were only a few people in the cathedral and not one priest from what I could see. It would be worse today, no doubt.

I wonder why the a pope has never mentioned Russia specifically regardless. It seems to me even if they did it now it still wouldn't work because all Bishops would not do it. If this has been the 100 yrs of Stan in the church, then there are plenty of priests, bishops and probably cardinals that work for him. The only way I could see this ever occurring to how Our Lady asked would be after the Warning.

I keep thinking about pope Benidict's thoughts in 2010 when he said " We would be mistaken to think
that Fatima's prophetic message was complete." He went on to look forward to the 2017 centenary of Fatima, expressing his hope that “the seven years which separate us from the centenary of the apparitions” may “hasten the fulfillment of the prophecy of the triumph of the Immaculate Heart, to the glory of the Blessed Trinity.”
Then we have Malachi Martins statement in 1997 on an American radio network when asked was there
a timeline for Fatima and he said, " Its not a hundred years away its not fifty years away its not twenty
years away." So two of the people we know who read the third secret are both talking about 2017 as
a special date for a very special year for the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and for the third secret of Fatima.

So being nosey as i am i looked around to see if i could find any other dates to correspond with the year
2017 and to my surprise there was loads of very importent anniversarys around the same time.
The most importent of which is the centenary of the appearance of Our Lady at Fatima in 1917.
(On her first appearance on May i3th 1917 Our Lady appeared on the feastday of Our Lady of the
    Eucharist as it was then)

2017 is the five hundredth anniversary of the Reformation ( or the Great Schsim) when the protestant's
broke away from their mother church in 1517. Could 2017 be the year of reunification, and as Our Lady
us promised many souls will be saved.

Pope Leo x111 vision of satans 1ooyears
The Vision Of Pope Leo XIIIOctober 13, 1884Exactly 33 years to the day prior to the great Miracle of the Sun in Fatima, that is, on October 13, 1884, Pope Leo XIII had a remarkable vision. When the aged Pontiff had finished celebrating Mass in his private Vatican Chapel, attended by a few Cardinals and members of the Vatican staff, he suddenly stopped at the foot of the altar. He stood there for about 10minutes, as if in a trance, his face ashen white. Then, going immediately from the Chapel to his office,
he composed the St Michaels prayer and had it said at all low masses.

When asked what had happened, he explained that, as he was about to leave the foot of the altar, he suddenly heard voices two voices, one kind and gentle, theother guttural and harsh. They seemed to come from near the tabernacle. As he listened, heheard the following conversation. The guttural voice, the voice of Satan in his pride, boasted to Our Lord:
    “I can destroy your Church.”
The gentle voice of Our Lord:
“You can? Then go ahead and do so.”
    Satan:
“To do so, I need more time and more power.”
    Our Lord:
“How much time? How much power?”
    Satan:
“75 to 100 years, and a greater power over those
who will give themselves over to my service.”
    Our Lord:
“You have the time, you will have the power.
Do with them what you will.”

    1984

The only things i found that could correspond with Pope Leos vision 33 years before Fatima,
are in 1984 Pope John Paul 11 consecrated the world to the Immaculate Heart of Mary (25th mar 1984) 33 years before 2017 and asked that many graces be granted. It is well knowen Pope John Paul's
love of Fatima and his many warnings to the faithful, especially to pray the rosary as a means of salvation
Another note worty story for that year was that Italy and the Vatican agree to end Roman Catholicism
as state religion (feb. 18 1984) so Italy and Rome both become secularist soceities.

    Jewish Faith

I found a couple prophicies from the Jewish faith that are also looking to the year 2017

    Rabbi Judah Ben Samuel
In 1217 the Jewish Rabbi Judah Ben Samuel prophesied that the Ottoman Turks would rule over the holy city of Jerusalem for eight Jubilees.

A Jubilee is a period of 50 years according to Leviticus 25:8-13. Eight Jubilees would then be 400 years.

Sure enough, 300 years later in 1517 the Ottoman Turks seized control of the city of Jerusalem and ruled over it for the next 400 years.

They were finally driven out of the city and the holy land in 1917 by the Allied forces under the command of General George Allenby.

The Rabbi’s prophecy about the 400 years was fulfilled exactly to the year.

The Rabbi had also prophesied that during the ninth Jubilee Jerusalem would be a “no-man’s land.”

This is exactly what happened from 1917 to 1967, due to the fact that the holy land was placed under British Mandate in 1917 by the League of Nations and literally “belonged” to no nation.

Even after Israel’s war of independence in 1948-49 Jerusalem was still divided by a strip of land running right through the heart of the city, with Jordan controlling the eastern part of the city and Israel controlling the western part of the city.

That strip of land was considered and even called “no-man’s land” by both the Israelis and the Jordanians.

Anyone even stepping into that strip would be shot down.

Regarding the division of Jerusalem, it was not until the Six Day War in 1967 when the entire west bank of the holy land was conquered by the Israeli army that the whole city of Jerusalem passed back into the possession of Israel.

So once again the prophecy made by the Rabbi 750 years previously was fulfilled to the letter.

But that is still not the end of the matter.

The Rabbi also prophesied that during the 10th Jubilee Jerusalem would be under the control of the Jews and the Messianic “end times” would begin.

The 10th Jubilee began in 1967 and will be concluded in 2017.

The Rabbi’s prophecy has been fulfilled to the letter right up to this present day.

    :

Please do not place any credability on these dates as i only put them up
because i thought they were intresting and hope you do aswell.
The only thing to remember is what Pope Benidict said and express our hope that the ( 3YEARS )
that seperate us from the centunary of Fatima hasten the fulfilment of the TRIUMPH ,OF THE IMMACULATE HEART, TO THE GLORY OF THR BLESSED TRINITY.

Thank you for that Eamonn...these are truly prophetic times we live. I loved Pope John Paul the II as many of us do...but I've always had a penchant for Pope Benedict...and the fact that he is still alive...in the background of Pope Francis's reign is a telling sign for me. It seems as if God wants him to live long enough to see something played out. This is my gut feeling...Benedict is a 20th century man...he has seen all the evil, turmoil and conflict to its fullest. He lived in the midst of it even as a soldier in Hitler 's Germany. I feel God wants him to witness something...God wants him to see that faithfully living out your faith in the worst of times...that your faith fullness will be vindicated. Also...ah...my mind is slipping...that Jewish prime minister who is still in a coma after a assisination attempt...he also figures into the equation. Also these those 4 solar/lunar events over the next couple of years may also play a part. A lot of prophecy at work here. I expect some big fireworks are set to explode. These are only my gut feelings and would not surprise me if I was wrong...but my instincts tell me I'm not.

Just a small extract from the following article (well worth reading) http://keepingitcatholic.blogspot.co.uk/2008/10/fatimas-miracle-of-sun-meaning-of-great.html

“The intervention of God in human history through the Fatima events was predicted in the Bible,” explained Father Joseph de St. Marie, Professor of Theology, Pontifical Faculty of Saint Theresa, Rome, “and is God's definitive response to the revolt of many nations and peoples away from the revelation and rule of Jesus Christ. The revolt against God is the ‘mystery of iniquity’ of which Saint Paul speaks, saying that it is already in operation.”[5]

Within this context, consider the Great Revolt of the “modern age.” Of great import to the Church and the faithful, each heinous step of this Revolt occurred exactly two hundred years apart, the last of them coinciding with Our Lady's appearances at Fatima: the revolt of Luther (1517), the foundation of Freemasonry (1717), and the birth of Bolshevism (1917).

Andy, this is why the 1984 consecration to the world did not fulfill the specific request of Our Lady of Fatima. Russia was not mentioned as Father Amorth, who headed the consecration, has stated. The ONLY person who said it fulfilled the request was Cardinal Bertone, who as we know has a very shifty background even prior to becoming Bishop and Cardinal. We can see the results. The world is getting uglier and uglier by the day.

I believe that is exactly the formula Fr Malachi lays out in the end of Windswept House.

I personally believe all three of those events are connected as explained and laid out simply in the book, She Shall Crush Thy Head by Stephen Mahowald. Short and incredibly logical book.
