So glad to hear that this is resolved. I recall the enormous relief when my youngest son had a serious allegation hanging over his head for months before we received the news that the police weren't pursuing it. Last week a man drove his car out of his drive into mine when I was on a main road. His car was OK but my wing was a mess. There were no witnesses and he told me that he will deny responsibility and report a totally false version of events if I pursued him for the damage! My insurers warned me that it I would lose money if I pursued it if he was dishonest about his liability and the circumstances. I wrote to him appealing to his better nature and asked him to be honest, after that he indicated that he would settle privately and I felt that the whole thing was sorted. Since then I hear that he has submitted a version of events to his insurer but don't know yet whether he has lied or not. Please pray for him (and me) that this situation is resolved fairly and that he doesn't lie and so indirectly rob me.
Thank you Steve, it is such a relief it's over! When my kids were young I used to read them a story called someones watching, and we know who that someone is. The fact that you ask for prayer for him before yourself shows you are handling this in a Christlike way. I certainly will pray for this man to have a change of heart and do the right thing,..you are in my prayers I feel confident you will have a resolution,..Jesus I Trust in You
Thanks Kathy and Sunburst. Have just heard that the other driver has 'owned up' and everything is sorted. What a relief! Deo Gratias
