I was thinking about the wildfires everywhere this summer. One though came to me . Next summer, they say will be the hottest ever because of El Nino. What would happen if the wildfires joined together into one big mega fire in any country? This nearly happened near Madrid this summer. This would be a whole new thing.

El Nino , by the way is named after the Christ Child. It means, 'The little boy'.

The Cause Identified: Nepal’s Foreign Minister, Shishir Khanal, confirmed that a 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck at 8:37 AM local time, triggering a massive glacier rock and ice avalanche. This blocked the Lhende Khola River (a tributary of the Bhote Koshi), creating a sudden, catastrophic surge downstream

Just as a quick aside Tolkien was not a fan of allegory. He has some use for it but his story is styled as mythopoeia and what he would call applicability and freedom of interpretation. Have a look at some of his thought on this.

He had a cordial dislike of intentional allegory.

"I dislike Allegory - the conscious and intentional allegory - yet any attempt to explain the purport of myth or fairytale must use allegorical language."

    The Letters of J.R.R. Tolkien

I stand corrected that his intentions were not directly allegorical.

He does admit though that his work is imbued with catholicity.

The Lord of the Rings is of course a fundamentally religious and Catholic work, unconsciously so at first, but consciously in the revision."

It is most certain that we must surely avoid all of what you mentioned above which I made bold. For many the beginning seduction is a Ouija board.

Yes, he did dislike intentional allegory which contributed to his dislike of Lewis' Narnia Chronicles.

One thing in Catholic Prophecy they say we will uncover in these present times is the Tomb of St Joseph! That it will become a huge site of Pilgrimage and Catholic Renewal!

    Here's hoping!

I am so excited for these scans to come back!

I remember reading years ago that the biblical world (like the ark, the ark of the covenant and Sodom and Gomorrah) would be proved true through science amd shown to the world. Though I have searched, I have never come across that quote again. Yet whenever I see stuff like this it comes back to mind.

I am a slow leaner I am learning that Our Lady has been appearing all over the World for many years in authentic apparitions , preparing for our days:

Well she is our mother! She loves us and wants what is best for us. I have been making a little spot in my back yard with her statue. It’s not fancy, I’ve been trying to get lilies of the valley established. They are a good ground cover and the flowers are so fragrant when they bloom. And behind is a rose bush. It’s simple but sweet. Behind the rose bush is a large spruce tree. But the neighbors can see the statue and I can sit on my back porch when praying my rosary and see her. I’m hoping some of the neighbors can see her, too. My little grotto.

I wonder why he was acquitted? There must be more to the story. Just wondering.
