Hi all- Id appreciate your prayers. Im in the hospital with a bowel obstruction. Apparently caused by my previous surgeries after my accident. The good news is the pain meds kicked in and they are saying i don't need an NG tube at this point. Surgeon comes in morning but doctor tonight said they usually treat by keeping me off food and liquids fir next few days. Hoping that clears it up. well i was not foing a great Lent so God is do kind to let me have a bit if a cross. God is Good. I offer these pains for all my friends here onntge forum. And asking Jesus to bring peace.
I will say a rosary shortly as I take an afternoon walk. Life is such a mystery why God chooses some for such suffering and not others. But He knows what He is up to.
You are in my prayers and rosary today, Miker. It appears that God is in the process of making you a saint. There are some powerful saints' feast days coming up this week so if you have to have surgery, St. Patrick and St. Joseph will be assisting.
Minor things happen to me which gets me whining but here you are, cross after massive cross and still finding it in you to thank God for this. I will pray.
Your prayers are powerful! And Thank you all so much for the prayers last night. When I went to the ER the doctors were concerned I might have a bowel obstruction based on the CT scan and my symptoms, so I asked for prayer. The surgeon now thinks it may not be a true obstruction after all. I’m still in the hospital while they run a few more tests (including a gallbladder ultrasound tomorrow) to understand what caused the episode. I’m feeling much better and am very grateful for your prayers and support. Please keep the prayers coming for clarity and continued healing.
