Can everyone pls desperately pray for sweet boy Micah Kim who is on life support, he's 5 years old. Paul Kim is a Catholic speaker. He & his wife seem lovely. As well as Jason & Crystalina Everett's (Catholic speakers also) son who has leukaemia. Paul is on a live right now on Instagram I'll have to watch & write more later. I've been watching & praying. I'm devastated for both sweet boys & their families.
I woke up and was thinking and praying for you last night Peter. Perhaps I am wrong but at least you seem to get periods when things are a little better. There is one thing that I find a huge help in the Spiritual Life and life in general and that is my Guardian Angel. For instance last night I thought of someone who had died and who was without Faith. He never even had a Catholic funeral Mass. I was praying for him and wondering if he was in hell? This led me on to think about hell. But then out of the blue my Guardian Angel warned me I was thinking too long about hell and that I should turn to meditate on something more positive. This reminds me of St Teresa of Avila. One time her father was going on a retreat and told her he was going to meditate on hell. St Teresa advised him not to . To think on something more positive. Prayers for the poor family. Who can know the Mind of God? Who can Fathom His Ways? A little flower ready to be plucked and planted in the fresh fields of heaven.
I am suffering physically and spiritually but trying to trust in God's mercy even though I don't feel it at the moment.
Keep praying and praising Sanctus, you know this storm will pass. Be easy on yourself in the mean time.
One night a number of years ago I woke up and saw a light coming from the Divine Mercy image next to my bed. Trying to trust that that light is still there for me and that Jesus is present in my life despite my feelings of abandonment.
It is so sad. He's a great intercessor. He's helped Jason & Crystalina's son. I believe he'll be canonised a Saint. There's something about a child helping us in our darkest moments. The purity of a child's heart.
I'm so sorry for your struggle & sufferings. It's not easy. Ask little Micah bear Kim to help you, I've been doing this myself. Know you're not alone in your sufferings. God will send angels.
Remember when you don't see him in your despair, he is carrying you on his cross. Prayers going up for you on this God given day.
