I'm not convinced this is really what was said. I read about the particular prophecy, where Carlo appeared to his mom and said he would be beatified soon and then canonized soon after, a few years ago, the year he was beatified. At that time, the only other part of the prophecy (in the article I read) was that the time he was canonized would be a time of young saints rising up. I wish I could remember the exact words, but I remember it seeming to suggest it would be the end-time saints prophesied by St. Louis de Montfort (and others). It definitely said nothing about ALL prophecy being fulfilled. I didn't see that get added until a few years later, when Fr. Blount was saying it. I wish we could ask Bl. Carlo's mother. She could set it straight for us.

Doing a quick search function here, it seems as though the prophecy regarding Marseilles is that it will end up submerged under water according to Our Lady of La Salette. Paris, on the other hand, is prophesied to be burned off the face of the earth entirely. Saint John Bosco thought that Paris was the Whore of Babylon mentioned in Revelations. It is also said that Paris' destruction will be just before Marseilles', and that God would send an alarming sign in the sky 24 hours before Paris meets its fate.
I've seen this video, but there are no sources, just repeats of whatever has been floating around the last few months. I'd love to see an interview with Carlo's mother where she's asked about this prophecy.

I remember reading about the visionaries from La Salette — they had a very, very difficult life afterwards. I even think they passed away in Italy, though I'm saying this from memory. I’d need to refresh my knowledge... It’s hard to compare different visionaries from Fatima, Lourdes... but somehow we always tend to romanticize them, even though they suffered a lot. Still, when I read about La Salette some ten years ago, I was really struck by how hard their lives were and how much poverty they endured.
This video from Mother and Refuge of the End Times seems to suggest that the current trend of "Artificial Intelligence" is actually Satan's final and biggest deception.... Mind you, I do not have a positive view of AI, but I also think that the so called super-computer is rather dumb. I once, out of curiosity fielded it a question on a minor trivia question, and the response was incorrect.
I think the worry for believers is what might inhabit it. Even now there are horror stories about people interacting with it. Also the possibility for deception is huge.
Allowing one's children (pre-college) to have i-phones is a harmful choice. It is fascinating that many of the parents who play an integral role in working for or promoting i-phone companies and related products do not allow their children to use them. Geralyn can give me a link to the Christian show we listened to when traveling home from Pittsburgh a few weeks ago. Horrifying! I realize most of you will be resistant to such a stance, but I've now chosen to use my phone primarily for family interaction, and a computer for other stuff simply because the i-phone temptation is too great. Living in one's phone is a curse. Lord have Mercy! It is too tempting to live in one's phone!

I agree! This is a tough one for me, because we don't have a computer and I don't want wifi in my house. So I do use my phone for the internet. My kids have zero access to the internet, though. They don't even play games on my phone.
