Don’t know where to post this…the new series on Fox Nation on the Saints. The most recent one about St Maximillian Kolbe. All the shots of naked men snd their private parts really bothered me. I don’t think St Kolbe would approve of that. I thought the first episode of John the Baptist was poorly portrayed, like the actors were reading from a teleprompter. my two cents. I won’t be watching any more of them.

I've given up on all current offerings in the secular media that deal with sacred things. Even if they mean well it's still infected with their particular mind virus. Netflix film on Mary case in point.

Yeah a couple of my friends were praising it. I told them it was blasphemous to Catholics.

Has to be tears, considering what is happening in the middle east, particularly Syria, Aleppo and Damascus.

I did not see the St. Maximillian Kolbe episode, but I did watch the first episode in the series with my daughter about St.Joan of Arc. We were both disappointed, and it left us feeling uncomfortable. Following this episode there was a panel discussion about the series with director Martin Scorsese. I was shocked to see that Father James Martin was present for the discussion, and we immediately knew that we would never watch another episode. I had subscribed to Fox Nation specifically to watch this series as my daughter was excited to see it, I unsubscribed that night. Sad.

Well, this didn't age well. How abrupt and extraordinary the collapse of Syria.

I saw a picture of Donald Trump at his home in Mar a lago, with his guests being Lindsey Graham and the wife and son of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu. The picture was in the Unz Review, an online media outlet founded and run by Ron Unz, a Jew but certainly no Zionist. The Unz Review seems to follow a worldview not radically different from that held by most people on here.

It is quite disturbing to see Mr Trump in such company. One is inclined to fear that we will see a double-down on a Greater Israel and the liquidation of the Palestinian, Lebanese and Arab peoples, including the Christians and our Holy sites.

Alternatively, one can take the view that Mr Trump can only be effective by having influence on these human monsters. We will know soon enough.

    Much prayer is needed.

Trump seems to play both sides. He stirs things up on both sides and then swoops in and plays a hero.
But I guess he did miraculously get rid of Roe vs Wade. I'm just watching like you, and I've been praying to Our Lady, Queen of Peace a lot lately. I'm on the edge of my seat for what's to come.

Sigh, I continue to pray for her

In a recent National Catholic Reporter (NCR) interview, Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) flaunted her disobedience of San Francisco Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone by saying she continued to receive Communion despite his pastoral letter stating that she could no longer receive in his diocese.

Pelosi told NCR, “I received Communion anyway. That’s his problem, not mine. My Catholic faith is, Christ is my savior. It has nothing to do with the bishops.”

Nancy Pelosi publicly defies Archbishop Cordileone by continuing to receive Communion: ‘My Catholic faith has nothing to do with bishops’ - CatholicVote org

I think Trump is all in for the greater Israel. He see’s it as a win win for the U.S. He most likely agrees with that pipeline going through Israel to Europe. He’s got one daughter married to Kushner, and his other daughter married to the family that owns the phosphate in Syria. But how will he be able to deal with Iran’s Al Qaeda running Syria now without Russia’s help? We lost all our Middle East contacts after Biden left Afghanistan. My guess is that it’s the Pentagon’s drones in New Jersey sending Trump a message to continue with the Ukraine war or else. We need a new Pentagon as soon as possible. May God protect us all.

With Russia making so many trade deals with the rest of the world, combined with their non-intervention in Syria, I suspect they will not object to a pipeline through Israel, if they get their wishes in the Ukraine. Those in the US Deep State who now wish to continue the war in the Ukraine, in my opinion, do so not primarily because of a linkage with Israel, but simply for the money.

True, but also Britain is THE biggest financial backer of the Ukranian war and a loss there could destroy the Bank of England. The quote below is from Alex Krainer, a financial expert, with a link to his substack article and video.

"...it is clear that the UK has continued making all the mistakes made by other decaying empires, particularly in terms of foreign adventurism.

A sudden deterioration, which developed during the course of this year seems to be related to the Western powers’ impending military defeat in their proxy war against Russia. Britain has been the principal cheerleader and sponsor of that conflict, and she seems to have gone "in over her head.” In addition to providing at least £7.5 billion in military aid (nearly $10 billion), Britain gave another £5 billion ($6.5 billion) to Ukraine in financial support.

Furthermore, Britain has also guaranteed multiple tranches of World Bank loans to Ukraine and many British financial institutions have purchased billions’ worth of Ukraine's bonds. Others made extensive direct investments there. In the timeline that follows we’ll trace the way Britain’s perfect storm shaped up in Ukraine."
