Storms moving in. It looks like a big red snake ready to take a bite out of us!

It's hard for priests and Bishops to speak out for if they do so they risk loosing everything. For ourselves as laypersons , if we do not have an income from the Church it is easy. We risk nothing. So I have some sympathy for them. Few of us have the stuff of which martyrs are made. All the Apostles fled when they'd came for Jesus. I am not too sure if I were in their position I would have the courage to speak out, but I am not sure that I would.

Bishop Strickland spoke of a real conversion moment, a time of grace for him before he bit the bullet and stuck his head over the parapet. He admitted being ashamed of himself for not speaking out sooner.

Priests and Bishops are part of a very big organisation and organisations have a way of eating people up and making them part of the big machine.

I write this not to excuse those who stay quiet but I have been thinking about them and they truly are in the most terrible position. They very much need our prayers and support.

Bishops and priests who buy into an evil agenda are another matter entirely.

But really I think it is true it is the laypersons who will save our poor Church and the World.

I can totally understand where you are coming from. God will provide, in due time.
Twelve years ago, I was a lector (reader) at a Cathedral. This felt very good, reading from Holy Scripture to hundreds of parishioners during Holy Mass. However, the teachings and attitude in the Cathedral slowly became more liberal. For example, a nun that was training us lectors once told me that I should not genuflect before entering the altar space, but only bow instead. Also, I began to receive Holy Communion on the tongue, and I was about the only person who did that, so I felt a bit awkward.
I slowly transitioned to the Traditional Latin Mass. Now, I am just another person in the pews, but I feel much better. I have never regretted the move to tradition.
    God bless!

I suppose in part of all of our life stories we have all of us been cowards.

But sometimes in our very ordinary lives, out has poked a hero.

I am still waiting for Rome to speak. Maybe they have and I missed it.
If Biden was the target I think statements would be forthcoming.

It's like swimming in a large sea. When you see the great shark coming up from the depths, you try to swim away while warning others it's coming but they refuse to look. And they do everything they can to keep you there with them. It takes great strength to break free from that; like being stuck in a rip tide. It's only possible with God's help, in God's time......

Well said. It is very tough to be in that situation. At the same time, in many prophecies and visions, we see that God is not impressed. This is clear, so I believe there is also a large contingent of luke warm priests and bishops who simply go with the flow without a second thought. Those who do care, but cannot speak up, are likely praying constantly and doing everything available at their disposal to serve their communities while resisting as best they can. God sees this.

Unbelievers accuse us of being sheep. But I have never found it to be so. As GK Chesterton said, those who do not believe in God will believe in anything.

The inner certainty which the Truths of the Faith bring are great stepping stones to exploring all things .

But sadly if there is one thing that this Great Apostacy has taught us that many of our fellow Catholics tended to be sheep too and never asked the questions that needed to be asked .

True the shepherd's fell silent but even still. .

Yes, only God can judge. When you have more to loose you are less inclined to take risks, it is human nature.

I have nothing to loose really be speaking out. By God's grace though when they start to round us up to send us ro the camps U will still tell it like it is and never deny Christ

But if people are afraid now, how will they behave when the storm winds blow?

This is the thought that sometimes keeps me awake at night....how indeed? When things first started to become clearer for me, I was really really angry because I felt no one my whole life had told me the Truth; they just told me what they thought they were supposed to tell me. Over many years and after much outrage, it suddenly dawned on me that it was because they themselves did not really believe. Some actually had their Faith ripped from them through no fault of their own. Different places in the world were affected in different ways by the evil we see manifesting now......imho

True Love of God and of neighbour is the answer, and our own personal answers will only be found in the deepest heartfelt prayer...

The winds are already blowing . . . and those without Faith are going mad. I can see it in my FB posts from friends who are moving more and more into the darkness. They actually enjoy the darkness. As Saint John Paul ll said, "Evil will eventually consume itself". We are in the diabolical disorientation. No doubt it will get much much worse. But, we are told to persevere.

Big flash flood in Toronto. Cars half under water in areas. People abandoned cars. Subway flooded. Months worth of rain in a few hours.

...and JD Vance's wife is a practicing Hindu. Is this "selection" orchestrated by the "world powers?"

“A lot of people recognize that we need to do something with Iran, but not these weak little bombing runs,” said Vance, apparently referring to US strikes on Iranian proxies in the Middle East.

Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH), who former President Donald Trump announced as his vice presidential partner, believes the United States should want Israel to complete its war against Hamas "as quickly as possible."

I believe that Vance was selected for his support of Israel and stance against Iran. Essentially the zionists back him. He also wants to pull the US out of Ukraine, like Trump.
