It's classic modernism, confusion and obfuscation. The aim is to change doctrine and dogma so the language is theological word play in order to justify change. Let your yes be yes and your no be no.
Isn't it at least inappropriate to use the mystery of Christ's incarnation as a language to describe the different cultural contexts and different times in which the Church must be inserted? ‘Fundamentally contextual’ Pope Francis wrote that Catholic theology must experience a “courageous cultural revolution” in order to become a “fundamentally contextual theology.” Guided by Christ’s incarnation into time and space, this approach to theology must be capable of reading and interpreting “the Gospel in the conditions in which men and women live daily, in different geographical, social, and cultural environments,” the pope wrote. The pope contrasted this approach with a theology that is limited to “abstractly re-proposing formulas and schemes from the past” and repeated his long-standing criticism of “desk bound theology.” Instead, he emphasized that theological studies must be open to the world, not as a “‘tactical’ attitude” but as a profound “turning point” in their method, which he said must be “inductive.” Pope Francis emphasized that this bottom-up reenvisioning of theology is necessary to better aid the Church’s evangelizing mission. “A synodal, missionary, and ‘outgoing’ Church can only correspond to an ‘outgoing’ theology,” the pope wrote. Relatedly, the pope said, this dialogical approach can allow theology to “broaden the boundaries” of scientific reasoning, allowing it to overcome dehumanizing tendencies
Theology is not an initiator of new things but rather our response to what God has done and is doing through His Son in the love of Their Spirit. Theology is our faith filled response to our co-present eternal God’s self revelation through His Son Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit. To do theology is anything but deskbound. It is the experience of Jesus.
My brain goes into meltdown whenever I hear a thing coming from PF especially anything on synodality. Totally mind numbing
Taken from Pope Francis' own words: Guided by Christ’s incarnation into time and space, this approach to theology must be capable of reading and interpreting “the Gospel in the conditions in which men and women live daily, in different geographical, social, and cultural environments,” the pope wrote. ________________________________________________________________________________ What this article implies is a profound change in approach. For instance, Saint Thomas Aquinas's arguments are deductive because they rely on true premises to yield a conclusion that is true. For the Pope to claim that inductive methods should be the norm is to say we should move away from logic to "be open to the world". He appears to claim logic is cold and therefore uncaring. Thus, to ask individuals with "same-sex-attraction" to abstain from such sexual activity in order to receive Holy Communion is harsh and judgmental. Unfortunately, this corresponds perfectly with "the synodal path" because listening and acceptance are the pillars of this "charity". In reality, a "charity" divorced from logic and truth is a false charity. So sad, so scary!
I think one way of knowing if a cancer is caused by the jab is that they are often really weird, very rare tumours. Another is of cancers which have been gone for many, many years almost forgotten about suddenly coming back with a vengeance. Another is of cancers that are very, very, very aggressive indeed.
In a nutshell it's telling people that if it feels good it probably is good. It's a recipe for mass moral anarchy.
It's wonderful to see what I take a paragraph or two to express, you can summarize in a sentence, Touche! Lord have Mercy!
The man is a lunatic. Completely fixated on his programme to the loss of all sense of anything else. Theology for decades now has been co opted from every discipline and from every conceivable angle. What he is talking about is bat level 10 crazy
The Satanists have only one commandment, 'Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law'. Which I suppose could be translated in modern slang to one word, 'Whatever!' The purported logic to this is that Satan was a Rebel from slavery to God. That he was in fact a freedom fighter. That he wanted to get out from under. To break chains. ..and so the Satanist is supposed to follow in these foot steps to do as they please. To go forward into total freedom. I see a lot of this kind of thinking in what the Holy Father and his fellow travellers are saying. They want to break the chains, to achieve freedom. This is what they claim the 'old', 'bad' former Church has done. Placed people in chains by being rigid, fundamentalist , uncaring, not nice, intolerant and so on. They like Satan and the Satanists come to make people free, to break the Chains. Like Lucifer who was the First Rebel, Pope Francis introduces a , 'Revolutionary paradigm' . As a Rebel, a Revolutionary , Pope Francis will lead the people of God into a new promised land of freedom. The root of Satan's sin was pride. He thought he knew better than God and could do better than God and actually be God. You can't get much prouder than that. Pope Francis and his pals think they know better than 2,000 years of Church teaching backed up by all the Popes and saints who went before. That he knows better even than Scripture. It doesn't get much more prideful than that either. Revelation 20 Satan Is Chained for One Thousand Years 20 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven. He had in his hand a key to the hole without a bottom. He also had a strong chain. 2 He took hold of the dragon, that old snake, who is the Devil, or Satan, and chained him for 1,000 years. 3 The angel threw the devil into the hole without a bottom. He shut it and locked him in it. He could not fool the nations anymore until the 1,000 years were completed. After this he must be free for awhile.
I was thinking of Chestertons madman who has lost everything else but his reason. He is trapped in his own cold viscious logical circle. All that he does is justified. Nothing else can be admitted.
Well I suppose by definition evil is insane. I read something interesting concerning an exorcist. He asked a Demon a question about their rebellion against God. He asked it if they did not know that in any war against God they were bound to be losers, that they had no chance of winning and if then, it was illogical and crazy to do so? To which the Demon let out a demented, tormented howl and said, 'Don't test me!'.
