Sorry. I have teens so unfortunatley know all the sexual terms. Asexual means you are indifferent and will sleep with anyone. So in this passage, I have always taken it to mean that all the men in town either sleep with both males and females or some may just sleep with other men.
I think that would be bisexual or pansexual? I always understood asexual to mean having no interest in or engagement in relations with either sex.
I think you may be right lol. So much for my knowledge from my politically correct teens haha. I can hear my daughter now, "Daaaaaad, that's pansexual not asexual!"

This confusing pontificate is best ignored if I can be so bold. How can one implement papal confusion into one's life? Pupils will tell you a confusing teacher leads to poor grades. This Pope is simply confusing, incomprehensible so if I don't understand him is that my fault? Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's and render unto God that which is of God. Love and worship of God comes first (always) in the economy of grace.
Going back to the ‘is he, isn’t he’ topic, Taylor Marshall discussed Abp Vigano’s latest. In a way it wasn’t very satisfying. I would rather he had discussed the content of the talk rather than just reading it out and adding that as a layman he thinks Vigano is onto something but as a layman (he, TM) has no authority to act. We all do have the right to be concerned. Vigano uses the augment from marriage. That it is invalid if one person enters it privately unwilling to abide by the Church’s teaching on child bearing and divorce. There is no sacrament in that case. Thus he claims that if at the moment of election a pope should accept the papacy with intent on undermining or changing the deposit of faith, that papacy is invalid. I’m not paraphrasing very well as I think there are promises by the new pope to uphold the Church’s teaching. Vigano has a point. I’m not a theologian but I wonder if a new (heretical) pope believes he is doing the right thing out of concern for the Church (as opposed to out of malice and hatred) surely his intention is different. Not sure if intention is a valid point. I’m trying to think round this. Obviously, we have no authority to make a formal decision but as concerned layfolk we do have permission to use our brains. Just because the majority of pew Catholics are lining up like lemmings to jump off the cliff doesn’t mean we must go along with them. Incidentally, earlier in the thread it looked as if some were conflating questioning the validity of this papacy with leaving the Church. I am not leaving and never will leave, not if the Cardinals elect Joe Biden in a Ronald McDonald suit. Never gonna happen. Taylor Marshall is adamant also on this point. We are staying. No we have no authority to put this pope on trial but we can use discernment. If it walks and quacks like a duck…
I watched Raymond Arroyo and the Papal Posse talking twice. Also Cardinals Burke and Mueller. Cardinal Burke is a honeybunch. Always, always exquisitely charitable to and about Pope Francis and everyone else. I have such a feeling of unreality about it all. Like being in a Science fiction film. Crazy, mad, unreal. Thank God for EWTN though, a great blessing from heaven.
One thing we can learn from Martin Luther and the other Arch Heretics and which I think we can see with Pope Francis is this. Once you go off the rails it doesn't stop there. You launch right away from planet Earth to the dark coldness of Outer Space. You gosofar off the rails the rails become not even a distant memory.
The only person who can truly identify his intentions is Pope Francis himself. It is the same for the person seeking an annulment.
I know true evil when I see it face to face and up close. Life taught me this. A very, very hard life which often brought me close to death. Upfront face to face, on numerous occasions. I heard his breath as he glided bye. A bullet that landed inches away, a bomb that threw me in the air, a gun pointed in my face. I am bemused by those who facing evil eye ball to eye ball do not see it for what it is. When I go into a bar I always take a seat with my back to to the wall and facing the door and seek at once another exit. Some people aren't like this. They just don't get it. Lying and dissembling can be an art form and these people have it down to a tee. They could teach a PhD course in it, really they could. These new Judas's
I get it totally. But my point is that it will be hard to pin jello to the wall if we are seeking to pin him down on that basis alone to depose him. Imho In order for the Church to grant an annulment of the Sacrament of Matrimony, one or both parties has to apply for the annulment in writing to the Tribunal and document the story of the marriage. I can’t visualize that happening with the Pope in this situation.
Hypothetically, the intentions must have been present leading up to and during the actual Coronation. We must be able to prove that, if we follow that line of thinking.
When the Rock becomes shifting sand it throws everything into distortion. Just like bad dreams. I actually said to my husband last night " I want to wake up from this dream." Diabolic disorientation on steroids.
