Sorry but her one referrence is NOT the term the Blessed Mother used. Mary said the" Conditional Chastisement " for a specific reason.
August 29, 1961 The day Our Lady refused to kiss a picture of Fidel Castro. “One of the cases happened on the night of August 29, 1961. Among the objects left on the table, an unknown person left a picture of FIDEL CASTRO's face. Without seeing anything, Jacinta raised it up to the VIRGIN, AND SHE RESISTED IN KISSING him, she commented to Loli: - She said that “ this person killed all the Priests”. "And all the nuns," said Jacinta, who must also have heard the Virgin's explanation.” Text extracted from "Garabandal": the final times.”, CESCA, Olivo. Editora Myrian, 1990. pp. 65-67 I spoke with Conchita and did tell me that Fidel Castro’s sister Juanita Castro had visited Garabandal several times, as she lived in a neighboring town called Asturias , and always dressed in black, as a penance. We can only assume she was the one who left the picture. She asked for prayers for her brother Fidel.- Glenn Below Juanita & Fidel Castro
Yes, but Mari Loli used this term without rejecting that this event is conditional, although it does not come from the words of Our Lady.
I believe that Mari Loli used the term "Great Chastisement" to emphasize the terribleness of it if it actually happens, not forgetting to emphasize its aspect of conditionability.
You're making a mountain out of a mole hill. Loli used it ( NOT MARY ) ONE time. No one in Garabandal circles calls it the Great Chastisement. Enough already.
I am not turning a mole hill into a mountain because a single word from one of the girls who saw our lady is not comparable to a hill; I am saying that I did not invent this term when I used it earlier but rather took it from the words that were used by Mari Loli and that when she used this term inaccurate," she did not change the nature of the event, for she has always stressed that it is conditional.
Enough already, not least because I already made it clear why I used an imprecise term to describe Conditional Chastisement.
PAPAL TRIP UPDATE: There are many asking about the status of the upcoming trip for Pope Francis. There is no official word from the Vatican as of yet as to whether or not he will stop in Moscow. As soon as I hear anything "Official" I will post it. I assume flight plan still has to be filed if he wants to land in Russia, so it will come out one way or another.
Affirmations of the Faith at Garabandal The Blessed Virgin reaffirmed at Garabandal the teachings and traditions of the Catholic Church just as they were about to come under attack. from “GARABANDAL JOURNAL” Nov-Dec. 2002 ON HELL: While hell is seldom if ever preached today in the majority of churches, the Blessed Virgin did not hesitate to make reference to it at Garabandal. In her second Message of June 18, 1965, delivered by Saint Michael on her behalf to Conchita, Our Lady said: "Many cardinals, many bishops and many priests are on the road to perdition and are taking many souls with them." If there is any doubt that perdition refers to hell, here is the Webster's Unabridged description: Perdition: 1. a state of final spiritual ruin; loss of the soul; damnation. 2. the future state of the wicked. 3. hell. In that same Message, Our Lady again alluded to hell when she said: "You are now receiving the last warnings. I love you very much and do not want your condemnation."
I found this article on a German Catholic website. (translated by google): A year after Pope Francis' failed meeting with the Russian Orthodox Patriarch Cyril I in Jerusalem, there is new speculation about a possible meeting between the two church leaders. According to an alleged middleman, Francis is said to have suggested a meeting in about six weeks at an airport in Moscow to Cyril I. The leader of the World Union of Old Believers Leonid Sevostyanov told Russian state news agencies Tass and RIA Novosti on Sunday that the pope had told him in a phone call that he could arrive on August 31 on his flight to Mongolia or on his way back on August 4. Make a stopover in Moscow on September 10th and meet with the head of the Russian Orthodox Church at the airport when he is ready. So far, there has been no confirmation from the Vatican.
You mean back on September 4 . How can he meet on September 10th, if he is on his way back on the 4th ? This doesn't make sense. He talked about a "stop-over" in Moscow on Sept 4th to refuel his plane, no meeting was ever agreed to. No Vatican confirmation has been given to even the "stop-over" ,no less a meeting.
Affirmations of the Faith at Garabandal The Blessed Virgin reaffirmed at Garabandal the teachings and traditions of the Catholic Church just as they were about to come under attack. From “GARABANDAL JOURNAL” Nov-Dec. 2002 MARIAN DEVOTION: Our Lady responded at Garabandal, to the attempt to minimize her importance, by proclaiming her rightful universal motherhood. In the second formal Message are her words: "I, your mother, ask you to amend your lives." And in her final appearance to Conchita she said: "Talk to me about my children. I hold them all beneath my mantle." The two principal Marian devotions of the rosary and scapular were prominent at Garabandal. The Virgin appeared as Our Lady of Mount Carmel with the scapular on her right wrist and told the visionaries of its importance. During almost every apparition, she commanded the visionaries to say the rosary. She taught them the mysteries and how to say the prayers slowly thinking about the words.
I will keep you updated on the Pope's trip to Mongolia. As of today there is still NO MENTION OR CONFIRMATION of Moscow. Only this mention from the Pope entrusting the trip to our Lady . https://www.vaticannews.va/en/pope/...JeTCbceog15851t_8mt2GwVCFUW7u6Aqf9uvdcUPW3tSc
Garabandal Girls speak other Languages in ecstasy: September of 1961 As he continued, Father Ramón Andreau brought out another very remarkable matter that occurred in the early ecstasies at Garabandal: “I myself have witnessed things that have given me reason to say that the girls spoke foreign languages while in their state of trance. Actually it isn't exactly that, at least not at the time I am writing these lines; the fact is that the girls have spoken words in other languages. I have heard the following . . . He (St. Michael) gives some words in French, in Latin, in German, and the beginning of the Hail Mary in Greek.) The most interesting thing is not that they spoke these words in ecstasy, but that they corrected themselves when they spoke them badly, so as to come to correct diction and pronunciation. They gave the impression that they were hearing the words from someone, one after the other, and that they were simply repeating them.” “ She Went in Haste to the Mountain” Chpt.5 page 107
TODAY IN GARABANDAL HISTORY SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 2, 1961 PADRE RODRIGO IS "CONSULTED" Padre Lucio Rodrigo was consulted by the members of the "Special Commission" most certainly in the second half of the month of August 1961. Following this encounter with the renowned Spanish theologian, Don Juan Antonio del Val, (the future bishop of Santander), resigned from the "Commission." Excerpted from 'Garabandal' Book, J. Serre, page 100 What does it say about “The Bishop’s Commission”, when it’s Priest assigned to investigate the apparitions, refuses to deny the validity of the apparitions, and instead resigns? Padre Lucio Rodrigo was present at a few ecstasies of the visionaries. An excellent theologian, his prudent critical spirit led him to believe firmly in the supernatural authenticity of Garabandal. Bishop Del Val Gallo
TODAY IN GARABANDAL HISTORY: SEPTEMBER 3, 1961 ST. JOSEPH IS THE GREATEST SAINT IN HEAVEN In response to Don Valentin Marichalar’s questions, the visionaries learned from the Blessed Virgin that “ St. Joseph is the greatest of all the Saints “ Excerpted from 'Garabandal' Book, J.Serre, page 100
Without question if she said that it was a simply a spoken error. Unintentional- the leaving out of a word. The “Warning will hit on the bad that we have done, the sins of Omission and the GOOD that we FAILED to do!” The rest is correct. It will be an education as God shows us the difference of each sin and how He sees it and how much it offends Him. Showing us the state of our souls at that moment. Excluding some who die from shock, it will prepare us for the Grace of the Miracle.
The sins of omission could also be sins we failed to confess, not necessarily the “good we failed to do.” But regardless the Warning WILL NOT SHOW THE GOOD WE DID! Jacinta simply and accidentally the one time left out the word “Failed” when she described the Warning as its the bad we did and the good we did. She meant the good we DIDN’T do!
