Thank God ! This bill is an absolute disgrace ,forced down the throats of Catholics & Christians who oppose it. Where the heck are my First Amendment rights ? Keep praying !
From the article:With the original Aug. 1 deadline looming, Catholics around the country were praying for relief from the HHS mandate. “We cannot compromise the integrity of our moral and social teachings,” said Bishop McManus said earlier this week, before the new ruling. “The Church cannot become complicit. The Church simply cannot do that.” In the original order, the fine for non-compliance could be as high as $100 per employee, per day. Opting out carries a penalty as well. Fines would also be incurred for larger employers that do not offer health coverage. Our mission is to pray and fast. Fasting is so powerful as some forum members have recently pointed out and I agree, if it were easy, everybody would be fasting Wed. and Fri. on bread and water. We do have to spiritually rise to all the challenges that are surrounding us.

I was at a Forthnight for Freedom Mass celebrated by Bishop McManus last night and listened to the attorney for the Archdiocese afterwards. There is a very serious tone to all of this. I dont see this administration backing down Mary Ann is so right about the fasting, it is not an easy thing to do. But with the few maybe it would make a difference.
Hey Sunburst, you are onto something! We need to PRAY and FAST about this. Since the combination of the two can stop wars and even natural events, we can certainly do something about Obamacare!! Let's do it!
Maybe prayer has granted us this extension? Im posting this story on my facebook account too, and sending in emails to friends, maybe more prayer can halt this violation of our rights !
