I can't believe the man was there, with everything going on in his country. Flying there to watch a ball game is the last thing a president should be doing. He chose to go to Qatar instead of Brussels where there is an EU-Asia summit going on and he delegated the German chancellor as the French delegate - unbelievable! Plus his trip to Qatar cost tax payers over 500k not to mention all that carbon spewed. Citizens must be worn out by too many scandals and anomalous behavior to keep track of them all. But this is what we have, a leader who think that flying thousands of miles to console a 25-year old millionaire is the most important thing to do for his nation right now. To me this is another example of the constant scare tactics., which are still being utilised by our (so called health departments) in Australia.
