It's totally amazing what is going on China at the moment. Who would have thought it? What totally extraordinary times we are going through!! This bodes very well for the Catholic Church there and for Freedom of Worship and Freedom generally. But it just goes to show who knows what will happen next? Such uncertain times.
This could be very important. If the Chinese protests gain sufficient momentum and succeed in toppling the CCP, it will have the effect of cowing the elites elsewhere. On the day that Cardinal Zen is faced with his (heretofore) white martyrdom, in sympathy with his persecuted people, there are many graces pouring down in all these events. Let us pray that people-power, as with that which toppled the USSR and its satellites, will succeed in toppling this great bastion of godless communism.

Its hypocritical that the media reports demonstrations in China but censured coverage of protests in Europe.
I love this! Yesterday my SIL made me pretty sad because I asked her what my 18-20 year old niece and nephew would like for Christmas and she specifically told me to not get them anything having to do with religion. Last year I got my niece the beautiful compendium of all of Mary's apparitions in the last century, and I got my nephew a book about Blessed Carlo Acutis. Both of their parents (SIL is their stepmom) are Catholics that don't go to church. My BIL's entire family is Catholic (some practicing, some not) and my niece and nephew love to read, so I thought they might have their interest piqued. I asked my SIL if they complained about the books I gave them last time, and she said no. But she wants them to find their own path and not have faith "pushed" on them. Such a shame that that is her stance, while the rest of the world has no problem "pushing" godless marxism on them. It's hard not to be discouraged at what is happening to our young people and the ambivalence of so many toward Who God is and what we owe Him.
You'd have a legitimate case to accuse your SIL of cultural appropriation of your religious holiday. If other minorities can do this, why not Christians?

That landslide happened in Ischia, the island where the apparitions are said to be happening in Zaro. I don't follow those apparitions at all so have no idea about recent messages but maybe someone has some news?

is it not amazing though that God condescends and humbles Himself so much that He transubstantiates as Host that we can not only gaze upon for hours in Adoration but can consume. It really is mind boggling when you consider that the Creator of all things would do this for his creature.
