Diabolical machinations. Ms Pelosi was just at the Vatican this past winter. What was she doing back there so soon? Great post, Andree.

Maybe this is Fr Blount’s second event on his video BLACKOUT. It is an abomination what Pope Francis did by giving communion to Pelosi. An example to the world that one can go to communion in mortal sin. Horrid Pope.

My Protestant friends are protesting this behavior. It's hard to answer them except I tell them we are being attacked and to not throw away the baby with the bath water. All this happening in the week of martyrs.

    Wow! What a grim reminder!

But Jesus still sits enthroned on High, indwells the Tabernacle, and most importantly for the faithful, indwells our hearts.

Mark 4: 35 On that day, when evening had come, he said to them, “Let us go across to the other side.” 36 And leaving the crowd, they took him with them, just as he was, in the boat. And other boats were with him. 37 And a great storm of wind arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that the boat was already filling. 38 But he was in the stern, asleep on the cushion; and they woke him and said to him, “Teacher, do you not care if we perish?” 39 And he awoke and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace! Be still!” And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. 40 He said to them, “Why are you afraid? Have you no faith?” 41 And they were filled with awe, and said to one another, “Who then is this, that even wind and sea obey him?”

I hate to say it out loud but, as the first abomination of pacamama caused the first blackout of churches being closed and the faithful being denied communion and Father Blount said there would be a second blackout{the second blackout in the vision happened over a church as did the first blackout} could the abomination of Nancy Pelosi receiving communion in the Vatican be the cause of a second blackout-the churches closing again and the faithful being denied communion again?
Awful to think about I know, but if so what will be the third abomination on the alter of God?

Yers, it is truly awful to think about the consequences of Ms. Pelosi receiving Holy Communion in the Vatican. AND receiving the Pope's blessing. But we must contemplate it.

I saw the word in the right hand of the paper: propitiatory
WOW. That is what the Mass is. It is offered as a propitiation for our sins. The TLM was always the unbloody offering of Christ on the Cross again, to the Father, as a propitiation for our sins.
I actually heard the term first in an Episcopalian service in the early 1960's. Even they knew what propitiation was. I believe the NO is still propitiatory, but the emphasis has shifted away from that.
I realize that I am no theologian, and it is difficult for me to explain , but that summarizes the shift.

Thank you for this link. I always understood these things but never saw it in print. Much to ponder this afternoon. It answers some of the issues I have been having, such as a Protestant friend who is seeking a 'real' church. I was going to invite her to mine but with Pope Francis' it would seem a great contradiction to me in worship. One big grace that I find missing from Protestant services. True worship, contrition, and giving up of self to be one in Christ. That also includes following the Ten Commandments and the commandments of Jesus with a big dose of humility. That is what I find so abhorrent with gay pride and pro choice. It is so anti God. When our church leaders lose this clarity it makes me embarrased.

    Katfalls,

I would never hesitate inviting someone to my parish, nor would I claim the Holy Father is an obstacle. If someone raised a question about Francis, I would simply say, "Popes come and Popes go, but the teachings of the Catholic Faith remain:

Definition: The Deposit of Faith is the body of revealed truth in the Scriptures and Tradition proposed by the Roman Catholic Church for the belief of the faithful.

2 Thess 2:15 So then, brethren, stand firm and hold to the traditions which you were taught by us, either by word of mouth or by letter.

1 Timothy 6:20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding the profane novelties of words, and oppositions of knowledge falsely so called.

1 Timothy 3:15 But if I am delayed, you may know how one ought to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and bulwark of the truth.

2 Timothy 1:13 Hold the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me in faith, and in the love which is in Christ Jesus. 14 Keep the good thing committed to thy trust by the Holy Ghost, who dwelleth in us.

Thank you for your post! I had my question answered today. In the Reading for Vespers tonight,
    Short Reading 1 Peter 1:6-9 ©
This is a cause of great joy for you, even though you may for a short time have to bear being plagued by all sorts of trials; so that, when Jesus Christ is revealed, your faith will have been tested and proved like gold – only it is more precious than gold, which is corruptible even though it bears testing by fire – and then you will have praise and glory and honour. You did not see him, yet you love him; and still without seeing him, you are already filled with a joy so glorious that it cannot be described, because you believe; and you are sure of the end to which your faith looks forward, that is, the salvation of your souls.

In the midst of tumult in the Church it becomes counterproductive to constantly hearken back to the good old days. Rather, focus on the Lord Himself and cultivate the fruits of the Holy Spirit!

Acts 20:24 But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may accomplish my course and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God. 25 And now, behold, I know that all you among whom I have gone about preaching the kingdom will see my face no more. 26 Therefore I testify to you this day that I am innocent of the blood of all of you, 27 for I did not shrink from declaring to you the whole counsel of God. 28 Take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you guardians, to feed the church of the Lord which he obtained with his own blood. 29 I know that after my departure fierce wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock; 30 and from among your own selves will arise men speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after them. 31 Therefore be alert, remembering that for three years I did not cease night or day to admonish every one with tears. 32 And now I commend you to God and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified.

    From yesterday's Orthosphere:

"Jesus says 'you must eat my flesh and drink my blood'. Moloch says 'I must eat your flesh and drink your blood'.

And yet, as the writer points out, the first is the one considered the 'hard saying'.

The abortionists/Aztecs/Moloch/ultimately satan demand we sacrifice our children; it is awesome to think that our Creator offers Himself in sacrifice for His mere creatures.
