Pope Francis: No more lace, you have to change the liturgical fashion https://www.google.com/amp/s/poland.postsen.com/world/amp/17453
We were taught as children , Terry that when the good go bad they turn out far worse than the mediocre. So that there is hierarchy of evil, just as there is a hierarchy of good. So that when say a Catholic Nun turns to evil we would expect that she would be far worse than a Catholic layperson. A Catholic priest who turned to wickedness would be far worse again. A Catholic Bishop who turned bad worse even yet. A Catholic Cardinal , who stands in the footsteps of the Apostles truly walks in the footsteps of Judas. What may we say of a Pope, who stands as Vicar of Christ and Head of the Church who is bad? (..and we have of course had several bad Popes in the past)....He who should by his calling should have stood at the very apex of all who are Holy, would he not stand at the very apex of all that is evil? St Thomas Aquinas reminds us that evil cannot exist without good , St Basil that evil is, essentially a choice not to do good and Pope Benedict once said that evil arises from indecision and concern for what others think. Jesus Himself said that He would rather have people go hot or cold, that it was the lukewarm He would spit out of His mouth. What could be more evil than to marry, to Prostitute the Church, the Bride of Christ to the Spirit of this Fallen World? Pure evil is, essentially, the inner decision not to do good.
Anthony Stine of the you tube channel Return to Tradition (I think thats what it's called)has a post up recently about the "rest of the story" of Pachamama from someone who was a missionary to the Amazon. It is deeply disturbing.

It was a shock to hear the Holy Father should say such a thing about the use of lace. This seemed like ridiculing the vestments used for Latin Mass liturgy, correct me if wrong. I wonder if the Holy Father has had to shake hands with the devil, because it seems like he is saying things that he is told to say. Such remarks like ridiculing the lace on vestments would have been bang on target for the sort of ridicule I remember from protestants years ago. Just saying.
Pope Francis told a group of priests that he doesn’t want to see “grandma’s lace” when Mass is celebrated, saying that although “paying homage” to grandmothers is good, “it is better to celebrate the Holy Mother Church.” My comment is that is such a snide remark from a pope. Our chastisement is hearing and observing his unholy words and actions while still having to honor the office of the Chair of Peter. It is more humble to do that, than to say, he is so evil, he can't be pope. The priests that I have confessed to for this sin, say to honor the office of the pope and in humility pray for the occupant of the Chair of Peter.
It might be more true to say that your criticisms of this particular pope reflect your sense of honour for the office he represents so poorly.
Knee problem forces Pope Francis to cancel Africa trip Pontiff, 85, had planned to visit Democratic Republic of the Congo and South Sudan in early July Angela Giuffrida in Rome Fri 10 Jun 2022 10.56 EDT https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.th...lem-forces-pope-francis-to-cancel-africa-trip
Yes, I 've gotten the impression that Pope Francis experiences a good bit of pain. If its source is sciatica, canceling his trip makes sense. Lord pour out Your grace, may Pope Francis experience Your merciful love; heal and strengthen his body!
At his age, degeneration of the spine can cause sciatica and other associated nerve pain and neuropathy. My dad suffered from it and I’m on the path as well. God bless and heal Pope Francis and convert his soul.
While I would wish that Pope Francis receive His merciful love, I have no enthusiasm to ask Him to heal and strengthen the Pope's body, unless it be accompanied by a (very) major change of heart!
