Truth Padriag, many prayers are needed for our young people. So many are lost, even those raised in the Catholic Church have limited knowledge of the faith.

 

I made it’s clear he was going nowhere and made him consume our Lord.

Three years ago at our daughters baccalaureate mass which was held at our parish my wife saw a woman pocket our Lord and then told me about it. So immediately as mass ended we went to the exit to of the church and found the lady and I literally stood in front of her and said please return the Lord and then her son tried to push me out of the way and my wife and I just kept standing there saying you’re not leaving with our Lord and it became a little bit of a scene but they knew we were adamant and then people started gathering around and we called one of the deacons over and she returned Him and then my wife carried Him back to our pastor who them properly handled Him

so I think it’s one of those situations where you just trust in the Holy Spirit to guide you and speak the words that need to be spoken And guide your steps forward as I’m sure we’re going to have to rely on greatly in the days to come

 

I wonder if there is anything efficacious for this person in receiving Our Lord? Or is it detrimental to his soul? I mean no one is truly worthy to receive but confession at least brings one to a state where they can receive in a more worthy state.

 

Well, the alternative was that FP would let him go to probably do evil to the Host. Well, he was probably eating and drinking condemnation to his soul. Just my thoughts.

At my childhood parish I attended up until last year when I switched to my FSSP parish, someone attempted to desecrate the Eucharist yesterday. I don't know any more details yet. Thankfully, "attempt" must mean the perpetrator was prevented from doing so. It made the news though.

This will be an interesting summer in the USA... But what a victory re where we are in history! God must see us trying so hard and is allowing this win. I did not expect this would happen in these times but the lines are being drawn in the sand and this is one of them. God help us.. pray people don't get hurt.

 

It says the decision MAY come down this week. I think they jumped the gun, trying to sell newspapers.

As it is, I'm asking the head of the local Perpetual Adoration Chapel to put a blessed picture of the Divine Mercy in the front window, to deflect and deter any evil actions and intent, and to protect both the Blessed Sacrament and the people inside during the Days of Rage.
