Yes, we would be truly blessed if he stayed - but I would understand if he decided to retreat to his 'cave' as he has a full-time ministry and a young family of 8 children. I am even surprised to find that he has time to post on the Mother of God Forum the way that he does! I have been reading Mark's blogs for a long time and as I mentioned somewhere else they set my heart on fire, literally I can feel a heat in my chest, because the spirit of his message resonates within me and inspires me to be a better Catholic Christian. This inspiration is the work of the Holy Spirit and the Spirit inflames us with a passion for the Lord. How blessed I am to belong to this forum. Our Lady's imprint is here.
Lets step back and cool your heels Insearch. Nastiness is NOT necessary. Say that five times fast....
I can well accept the idea of chastisement: it is totally biblical as we descend--worldwide really--into apostasy and debauchery. But the 'era of peace'? To me I cannot imagine that until there is the 'new heavens and a new earth'. This place is not heaven; it is our proving ground for heaven and some Shangri-La is not a part of it.
I think when we say the Our Father and say with Jesus, 'Thy Kingdom come....' I may have tended too much of this Kingdom as being not of this world but of the world to come. But I think the messages of Mary have taught me that I should be praying for the Kingdom to come in this world too. I think in order to do so I need great childlike confidence and hope. But I do believe. I do hope. Mary has taught me to do so. I do believe the Kingdom will come. John 14:13-14 Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.
