I cannot thank you all enough for your prayers for my husband, John. I am truly overwhelmed by your love and support. I was able to visit him today (talking via phone through the fishbowl he’s in in ICU). They were able to drop his oxygen to 60% and will attempt reducing the steroids tomorrow. They make no guarantees as they’ve seen things swing from improving to bad and Vice versa. He has had the annointing of the sick - which calms my heart. He is still suffering and is scared. God has a plan and I pray we are all strong enough to accept God’s will. Thank you so much again. I will include you all in my rosaries. God bless you!
I’ll share this to give you hope and thank the prayer warriors here at MOG. I asked for prayers for my brother in law Bill. He’s been hospitalized for Covid for four months. He coded three times, they brought him back. He had both lungs collapsed. He went from being on oxygen for two months to a ventilator for two more months. No one…meaning the doctors and nurses expected him to make it. He had last rights. last week he was well enough to get off the ventilator and into rehab. Last night my sister said that he’ll be released from rehab to his home in about 14 days. I pray his recovery continues, because it’s a miracle he is still alive. So, where there is life, there is hope!….Especially with prayer warriors like all of you. God bless everyone of you and prayers to keep everyone of you safe and healthy! Let’s pray John back to good health and everyone here and their families! Praise Jesus!
What a great story!!! One of hope and confidence in the miraculous power of prayer (particularly the prayers of our MOG prayer warriors who bang on Heavens door for not only Beths BIL, Bill .... but for all who ask for intercessory prayer!!!!
AND... this is evidence of Bills stamina and resistance to the "care" given to him by the hospital!! It was a long hard battle.... but he survived.... in spite of their useless, if not dangerous, protocols!! YAAY Bill!!

Honestly Ellen, if Bill continues to recover, it is only by Gods grace. He has lost 100 lbs. and still has a feeding tube…( he said he is starving…he was never fat, just a big guy). I’d love to feed him a really good meal, but I’m betting it will be pudding until he passes his swallow test…but …he’s alive!
Exactly! He’s alive in spite of the hospital, but he’s a exception. I think only 20% make it off the ventilator alive…plus he coded three times! They had to do chest compressions to start his heart because he was on the ventilator.
Beth. Thanks for this tremendous news. Your BIL and Cardinal Burke need to meet some day and share their experiences - meaning the experience of having many prayers and knowing God acted. As you said.. all praise goes to our Divine Physician.
Yes Jason, I agree. Bill i hear is so emotional now and I’m not on Facebook, but all of the relatives tell me he is shouting the glory of God from the rooftops! I don’t think he’ll ever be the same guy…ever! When you come so close to meeting God, everything changes!
