Daniel O’Connor: New Prophecy from Father Michel Rodrigue

I totally agree. I would even be careful about the Norwegian lady because this alleged 1968 prophecy was not published until decades later, so there is no way of telling if it is an ex-eventu fabrication. It contains dark stuff about nuclear war all over the Western world and "safe places" in poor countries, which I would take with a grain of salt because the prophecy itself is not trustworthy.
I used to suck up these things, including Irlmair (also doutbful, his publisher Adlmair probably copied from Jahenny, Aiello, Taigi etc). Around the time of my conversion 11 years ago I was heavily into this unapproved prophecy stuff such as Alois Irlmair, Emmanuel Minos, Anton Johansson, etc. It is all doubtful, for different reasons.
I am also a bit skeptical of Fr. Rodrigue, for reasons that have been pointed out by others. Some of the stuff he says seems a bit demonic (a Church building with a pathway to hell, he used to practice the occult, etc). There may have also been a caution against Fr. Rodrigue by his Bishop.
I agree, approved prophecy such as La Salette, Akita, Fatima or self-proved prophecy such as Anna K. Emmerich or quasi-approved prophecy such as Elena Aiello or Anna Maria Taigi are at a totally different level and these are my orientation points now.
Purple Flower has put it aptly: The unapproved stuff such as Minos, Irlmair, etc is all about finding a hiding place for yourself and let everyone else die. Whereas we are Christians, we are to be beacons of light and lovers of neighbor.
Also, it is telling that an approved apparition-visionary gave us a warning right before Covid and genetic experiments appeared: Akita message from 6 Oct 2019: "Put on ashes and pray a penitential Rosary daily". Not "leave Japan and hide in South America or so."

No, they don't suggest dates, but there are people who take license to say that this or that is going to happen soon. They really don't know.

As for myself, I have found that the vast majority of new seers and their messages are filled with doom and gloom. However, all the approved and true messages from Mary have always included hope -- such as: Russia will be converted if.... or the war will end soon if.... Mary has always told us that our prayers, offerings, sacrifices, and penances help.

 

True. But it may well be that 100 or 150 years ago these chastisements could still be averted but we are beyond that point now.

In Medjugorje Our Lady said explicitly that the chastisements contained in the secrets can be mitigated but not averted.

In fact Mirjana recalls that Our Lady once told her NOT TO pray for the elimination of the secrets because they MUST take place for Her Heart to triumph.

(But La Salette is very grim)

Like Sisyphus pushing the boulder of our sins uphill which simply got too heavy.

 

Michael, I too went after a lot of phony prophecy, it tickled my ears a great deal. Agree about Emmerich, Taigi, etc - they are worthy of being taken seriously. Unapproved apparitions or those still on the fence I avoid. There's one mystic who said a while back 'buildings that are standing will not be standing' and people watched the Twin Towers fall and said 'Wow!'. Vague prophecies like that will eventually find 'proof'. My local co-op was burned down so I guess she was right

Sister Agnes Sasagawa's message came just before the Pachamama incident and I assumed that was the connection. But then we had Covid, so maybe the pandemic was a chastisement and it's all connected? That is possible.

Fr Benedict Groeschel wrote a book on discernment and he said that the great mystics were (are?) more famous after their death and in life most of them were totally obscure and lived humbly. There was a bit of a circus around St Pio in his lifetime but he didn't have the high profile he does now, and his lifestyle was certainly frugal. One may disagree with the fame thing of course but it's something I take seriously.

This is true and there will come a time when all shall come to pass. However, even if things can't be eliminated, they can still be mitigated, which is still hope.

The coincidence here is, I well remember the 8th December 2020. We were told by a Priest that we can make a special request from Our Lady on this day between 12 noon and 1 pm. The hour should be spent in prayer and the special request made within the hour.

I had decided to attend Holy Mass starting at 12 noon that day to make a special request of Our Lady; the Church was indeed named after Saint Joseph. Holy Mass was followed by Holy Rosary, with the parish Priest leading the Rosary. Perfect for an hour of prayer and devotion.

To complete the devotion, part of a Psalm had to be read three times. And I was only able to complete the Psalm twice because the Church Traffic Wardens who rule the roost during the corona virus lock downs, lock outs and all the other bullying that has entered the House of God these days ushered me out as I was trying to say the Psalm for the third time.

I had already managed to say the part Psalm once before Mass started, the second time during the silence after Holy Communion is distributed and only needed about one or two minutes to complete the third time; but two bullies hissing and ordering me out was too much of a distraction to be able to read the words and focus.

And would you believe the trauma of fellow Christians acting like night club bouncers at closing time has drawn a veil over my memory as to what urgent petition I actually made on that day. Hope Blessed Mother can remember, cause Julia can't.

Thank God you don't get old battle axes at the TLM. Their traffic warden women are a different breed, gentle and lady like just like Roman Catholic women should be.

 

Psalm 51 to be said Three Times on 8th December between12 noon and I O'clock for special graces from Blessed Mother.

How to gain the special grace or favour from Blessed Mother on 8th December by virtue of her Immaculate Conception.


HOUR OF GRACE. DECEMBER 8TH FROM 12 NOON TO 1 PM. READ PSALM 51 THREE TIMES, PRAY FOR ALL THE HOUR. THE REQUEST OF OUR BLESSED MOTHER FOR THE HOUR OF GRACE MARIA ROSA MYSTICA

1. Day and time of Hour of Grace - December 8th, Feast of the Immaculate Conception - to be started at 12 noon and continue until 1 pm for one full hour of prayer.

2. During this hour the person making the 'Hour of Grace' either at home or in the Church must put away all distractions but totally concentrate on your union with God during this Special Hour of Grace.

3. Begin the Hour of Grace by praying three times the 51st Psalm with outstretched arms

4. The rest of the Hour of Grace may be spent in silent communication with God, meditating upon the Passion of Jesus, saying the Holy Rosary, praising God in your own way or by using favorite prayers, singing hymns, meditating upon other Psalms, etc.

Seventh Apparition on 8th December, 1947. On this great feast countless priest were present. It was only with a great deal of effort that Pierina was able to get into the Basilica. She knelt in the center of the church, just where the other apparitions had taken place. During the recitation of the Holy Rosary, Pierina called out: "Oh, Our Lady!" Great silence ensued! Our Lady appeared on a large white staircase, decorated with a white, red and yellow rose. She said with a smile: I am the Immaculate Conception. And descending several steps with great majesty She continued: I am Mary, full of grace, Mother of My Divine Son Jesus Christ. Descending even more, She said: Through my coming to Montichiari, I wish to be known as the ROSA MYSTICA It is my wish that every year, on 8th December, at noon, the HOUR OF GRACE FOR THE WORLD be celebrated . Many divine and bodily graces will be received through this devotion. Our Lord, my Divine Son Jesus, will send His overflowing mercy if good people will pray continuously for their sinful brother.

One should very soon notify the Holy Father of the Church, Pope Pius XII, that it is my wish that the HOUR OF GRACE FOR THE WORLD be made known and spread throughout the world. If anyone is unable to visit his church, yet will pray at noon at home, he will also receive graces through me. Whoever prays on these tiles and weeps tears of penance, will find a secure heavenly ladder and receive protection and grace through my motherly heart. Then Our Lady showed Pierina her heart and said: Look at this heart which loves mankind so very much, but most people only shower offenses upon it. If the good and the bad unite in prayer they will obtain mercy and peace through this heart. The Lord is still protecting the good and is holding back a great punishment because of my intercession. Our Lady smiled again and went on: Soon one will recognize the greatness of this Hour of Grace. When Pierina saw that Our Lady was going to depart, she said: "Dear Lady, I thank you! Bless my homeland Italy and the whole world, but especially the Holy Father, the priest, the religious, and the sinners." Our Lady replied: I have already prepared a flood of graces for all the children who listen to my words and keep them in their hearts. She assured Pierina that she would return at a suitable time when the Secret entrusted to her, would be made public through the Ecclesiastical authority.

Our Lady then said ‘good-bye’.During the period of November 24, 1946 to December 8, 1947, Our Blessed Mother appeared to Sister Pierrina in a little church in Montichiari, Italy, eleven times. On the first appearance Our Blessed Mother told Sister Pierrina that She wanted to be known as the 'Mystical Rose' and that an Hour of Grace should be kept at noon on December 8th in all the Catholic Churches of the world. Our Blessed Mother wanted this to be known through all of Italy and the entire world. It was November 16, 1947 when Sister Pierrina was finishing her thanksgiving after Holy Communion when she saw a great light. She then saw a vision of Our Blessed Mother as the 'Mystical Rose.' Sister was so deeply moved by the stunning beauty of Our Lady that she began talking to Her. All of a sudden a gentle force made her kneel down in front of Our Lady. The Blessed Mother spoke these words. "My Son is greatly offended by the sins of impurity. He is already planning to send the deluge upon the people, for their destruction, but I have asked him to show mercy and not send the destruction. So that is why I have appeared to ask for penance and atonement for the sins of impurity." Then Our Blessed Mother asked for an Act of Humility by Sister Pierrina. She asked her to make the sign of the cross with her tongue on each of the stones in the Sanctuary. "

This shall be a reminder to the people that I have appeared here and do not have the people step on those stones." Our Blessed Mother then stepped on each of the stones so that Her gown touched all four stones. On the 22nd of November, Sister Pierrina felt the overwhelming urge to go to Church at 4:00.
