Sign. Divine Will again. What a pain. I didn't delete the Divine threads because I thought them false but because they produce endless arguments. A total pain. They are still a total pain. What's the point? With all the problems in the Church and the world, what's the point? I tried Divine Will out of curiosity and regard it personally, as problematical. Not false; problematical. I fear a form of obessional spirituality. Too much of kind of hothouse. Anyway..endless, endless fights.
I’m still praying for Peter the Roman to come into the scene as soon as possible. We are living the days of Noah for sure.
Interestingly enough I'm going through an Audible version of the Baltimore Catechism, Catechism of St Pius X, and Catechism of Trent over the next few weeks and months (along with the current one that I've read and listened to.). I'm doing this mainly because I'm going to be involved in teaching RCIA, and also just from curiosity around the differences between the versions.
Padraig, If you look up in thread, it was Josephate who brought up the Divine Will, not me. I just defended the fact of the untruth that she said that the church has found doctrinal errors in Lusia’s writings. This is false! As far, as your statement what is the point? The point is, According to the writings which Jesus gives to Lusia, The future of the Church lies in the Divine Will revelations to Lusia. When the Church possesses them, there will be a fire within the Church. "It will be the same fire which the Gospel talks about: "I am come to cast fire on the earth; and what will I, but that it be kindled?" [Luke 12:49.] "This is the fire of the Divine Will!" So, The Divine Will is our future, the fulfillment of The Our Father Prayer! I find that to be very important, because Jesus said it was to Lusia! What you call obsessional spirituality, I call Trying to follow God’s Holy Divine Will.
What I find really unfortunate is being told it's our moral duty to get 1 of the 2 mRNA shots available.
No longer rumors: Breaking: Pope Francis Issues Restrictions on Extraordinary Form Masses in New Motu Proprio https://www.ncregister.com/cna/brea...extraordinary-form-masses-in-new-motu-proprio
Pope Francis's latest awful action reminds me of the Communist Party of China as regards the Liturgy. What the CCP says to the Faithful people of China is, 'Yes you can have the the Liturgy but the price is you must drop the theology'. Pope Francis is saying exactly the same to the Faithful of the world. 'Yes you can have the Old Mass , but you can drop the questioning. We'll check very carefully indeed that you are doing so'. Surrender your pursuit of the Traditional Teachings of the Church and you can have whatever liturgy you like at a price.... Nauseating. Boke.
He is a slippery slippery snake God forgive me but there wont be need for any tear jar when he goes to his eternal reward.
A few articles would be useful people for some of the rest of us, I found one or two, lifesite first: ANALYSIS: Pope restricts ‘divisive’ Traditional Latin Mass, says 52-yr-old Novus Ordo is ‘unique expression’ of Church’s liturgy | News | LifeSite (lifesitenews.com) NEWS ANALYSIS: Pope restricts ‘divisive’ Traditional Latin Mass, says 52-yr-old Novus Ordo is ‘unique expression’ of Church’s liturgy Pope Francis has made several sweeping changes to the permissions granted to the celebration of the Traditional Latin Mass. Fri Jul 16, 2021 - 10:37 am EST ANALYSIS VATICAN CITY, July 16, 2021 (LifeSiteNews) – Pope Francis has today issued a new motu proprio restricting the celebration of the Traditional Latin Mass, declaring that the liturgy of Paul VI, or the Novus Ordo, is the “unique expression of the lex orandi of the Roman Rite.” The document, entitled “Traditiones Custodes,” is written “in light of the experience” of the survey carried out by the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith last year, about the Traditional Mass (Also called the “Latin Mass,” the “Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite,” the “Old Mass”). Article 1 – The Novus Ordo is the ‘unique expression’ of the Roman Rite In the document, the Pope made several sweeping changes to the permissions granted to the celebration of the Latin Mass. But first, and one of the most striking points, is his declaration that “The liturgical books promulgated by Saint Paul VI and Saint John Paul II, in conformity with the decrees of Vatican Council II, are the unique expression of the lex orandi of the Roman Rite.” More at link above. Okay, my other story is from "Novus Ordo Watch" but they seem to be slightly a break away group, so I won't post them, everyone can look for them, themselves... they wrote on it. But in union with Rome, is the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter. They were the first ones I thought of in this. I thought they ordained some new priests in this past two months. I think this move could backfire for this failed pontificate -- I was unable to get confessions from my local parish(es) for 18 months and was delighted to get to confessions recently at Church of Immaculate Heart of Mary (Belfast) Institute of Christ the King Sovereign priest (Latin Mass fraternity). The compassion I was shown in the confessional touched my heart and I wept like a child with true remorse for my sins. I just missed this sacrament so much and truly it is a scandal what is happening in many parishes. I will never forget who fed me when I was spiritually starving. The priest was very young and proactive and told me I could rely on him for confessions should things go bad again. He didn't wear a mask no fear of covid. I doubt I am going to contribute much to the weekly funds of my local church if they cannot even provide me with the sacraments.
It’s typical of a man with Marxist beliefs. For him to say Benedict created division with his decision in 2007 when in fact he is creating division is a page out of a Marxist playbook.
