Thank you so much. She is not very well--can hardly move but has been anointed and still praying for deeper faith and a miracle.
O Saint Francis Xavier, well beloved and full of charity, in union with thee, I reverently adore the Majesty of God; and since I rejoice with exceeding joy in the singular gifts of grace bestowed upon thee during thy life, and thy gifts of glory after death, I give Him hearty thanks therefore; I beseech thee with all my heart’s devotion to be pleased to obtain for me, by thy effectual intercession, above all things, the grace of a holy life and a happy death. Moreover, I beg of thee to obtain for me…(here mention the spiritual or temporal favor to be prayed for). But if what I ask of thee so earnestly doth not tend to the glory of God and the greater good of my soul, do thou, I pray obtain for me what is more profitable to both these ends. Amen.

There must have been a film made about Saint Francis Xavier. I hope some techy savvy forum member can find it and post it here. This would be a perfect way to encounter the spirit of this Apostle of Jesus Christ to commemorate his Canonisation today 12th march. I believe his feast day is 3rd December. And I Julia promise to share the request I have made to this man of God in his heavenly home, if he is able to obtain the miracle of grace requested. All for the glory of Almighty God and His Angels and Saints, now and forever. Amen.
Perfect , Julia. I’m thinking ewtn might have a movie. They just showed a good one about St Ignatius Loyola. The Novena of Grace was made by my future pastor at the beginning of WWII to have a decision made: should he go into the war as a chaplain or should Mount Calvary Mission become a parish? The answer was to become a parish. This good priest held the Novena of Grace in the old days. St Francis Xavier died on December 3. Because there was a beautiful statue of him in my parish, I chose him as my Confirmation saint.
St. Francis Xavier, hear and answer our prayers for thy intercession on our behalf to the most Blessed Trinity! Amen.
