It is always possible that we are wrong and the Vaccines are fine. What can you do? You can only choose as best you can. But anyway if Professor Cahill is right we will know soon enough.
Covid has a 99.95% recovery rate for under 70. I've seen it reported continuously. I'll take my chances with getting it. And it appears some people who are healthy and get the vaccine end up dying. Many seniors are dying after getting this vax. No way am I getting this! And there haven't been any reports yet that I've heard about any kids or young people getting ill from it. It's not a vax, it's a genetic manipulation. They've never isolated the virus. Bill Gates is on record saying he wants to reduce the population using vaccines. You don't think this might be how? They engineered this virus, they are using it to bring in the Great Reset even though it has such a good recovery rate? Wake up!
The Irish body advising on Covid is NPHET (National Public Health Emergency Team) but is generally pronounced as 'nephet'. I also heard it recently referred to as No Pubs, Hospitality, Entertainment or Travel.
You did what was necessary Donna, and I know it must have been a terribly difficult decision, but as you said, it was made in good faith. It is a often a challenge for us to walk in another’s shoes. I was upset when my son told me he got the vaccine, but his decision was based on the fear of not getting any work in his field that often requires international travel. He has not been in a good place financially since COVID came on the scene and he felt as though he had no alternative. We all have very strong feelings about the vaccine, but those feelings come from a good place as we are all concerned for each other’s well being. All we can do is ask God to guide us and to bless us with the ability to understand and support each other through this difficult time. I am very happy to hear that you are doing well.

I've been told by two different doctors to stay home from Mass because of the COVID with the idea that I have underlying health issues that could cause big problems if I were to get this virus. And one of the doctors told me that she got the first shot of the vaccine and is fine for the moment. I'm waiting to see if anything else happens in regard to her getting the second shot. She has said I should get it too. Of course, she's had one bout of cancer a few years ago, and probably has other issues. Of course, since she's a doctor working in the VA hospital, where I go to see her, it makes sense since she's considered on the front line. Not dealing with COVID patients, but still in a hospital. I've been watching this discussion and going back and forth on the issue for myself. I suppose if it were to come down to it, no one could make me get the shot or not, so it's up to me. But I still am unsure. I'm a ways off from getting it since I'm only 58, and they are saying those over 65 will get it first. My mom, who's 81 hasn't gotten it yet, although she's trying to get on the list to get it. But she also has my step dad who's up in arms about getting it "immediately." He can't understand why they haven't gotten it yet. But I'm sure they probably will as soon as possible. I'll see what happens to them first. Of course, I go through the VA, so I'm not sure how quick it would be made available to me. I'll see what happens. And, of course, I'll be praying about it.
It was March 18 last year when everything was shut down here and the covid nightmare officially began. I remember because I went to Mass on the 17th fearing it would be my last one for a long time and it was.
How many people will remain strong enough in faith to say NO, knowing that they could risk losing their job ? "Blessed are those who stay strong in these end of times" . We have to believe that God will provide us all we need. Yes, we are living a big Fight in trying to inform properly our family and friends. My own mother of 92 years old asked the doctor to come over, also to have info about the vaccin.... I thought "O Jesus help me". The doctor talked to her in such way as if there was no danger because everything was well studied beforehand.... The blood of anger raised in me and I interrupted him and I put all the documents of so many dead people and evidence of scientific medical documents of the danger of that vaccin and comments of doctors in front of him. He was silenced at once and replied "yes you are right, there is a lot of uncertainty and opposition. And I cannot look in the future what will be the consequences". Really.... The most important thing I obtained from this confrontation was that my mother decided not to take it for the "moment". Wauw. Before this visit, she did not want to listen to me at all because she is terrible and terrible stubborn and she always does the opposite of what I propose to her. One day I said to her, as reaction to this opposition: "yes, you should take that vaccin, it is good for you", then she started to have doubts. ..
It is exactly because you have underlying medical conditions, that you should NOT take it. The vaccin will first of all attack the most vulnerable organ.

I was left scratching my head when I read the link you posted of the "prophecy" from Fr. Collins. Fr. Collins puts the Wuhan virus down to abuse of animals and lack of care for the environment as denounced by Pope Francis in Laudate Si. (they aren't his exact words but that's the gist I got from what he said). One year on and we're all being urged to take a vaccine brought to us through co-operation with the murder of innocent human life - humans created in God's image and likeness. The vaccine to be used in the broader community in Ireland was actually developed using actual cells derived from who knows how many murdered babies. "Take the vaccine to save lives" they tell us. Don't let your conscience tell you that the more vaccines they sell, the more they will be encouraged to increase their practice of experimenting on the limbs and organs of murdered babies. We know that Pope Francis values the wellbeing of animals over the right to life of human babies. I hope that Fr. Collins isn't taking that path. Care for the environment shouldn't be in conflict with the human right to life. Unfortunately, environmental activists have made it so and Pope Francis has thrown his lot (and apparently that of the Church) in with them. I hope that Fr. Collins isn't doing so. Let's not forget that the virus came from a laboratory. Does Fr, Collins know whether the cells of aborted babies were also being used in that laboratory? Does he care or is he only worried about the animals? I'm sorry to be so sceptical of a "prophecy" from a good priest but I see this as similar to offering incense to Caesar. Just one pinch of incense to save your life. If you would rather lose your mortal life than forfeit eternal life, think of your parents and children and the rest of your community. The pinch of incense will save their mortal lives. Whole communities of Christians could have been saved if those who were martyred had just offered one pinch of incense. But would Rome have been converted? There are Catholics today who would answer "yes" to that question using the "change hearts and minds" argument which is so much easier to sell than "take up your cross". It seems to me that today's hierarchy would have been more worried about whether the lions were getting enough fresh meat. We can see now how easy it will be to persuade people to take the mark of the beast: tell them that it's for the common good and that they need to keep on living because they have children to feed.
