I am grateful to our protestant brothers because they encourage us in our faith right now when we need it. Where are OUR leaders, the priests, in all these events ? That's why I am ALSO listening to the Protestants because the Holy Spirit goes where He wants too. They give us HOPE and we can learn from them regarding Scriptures.
A "prophetic consensus" among Protestant pastors led many to insist God told them President Trump would win a second term. In the aftermath, Evangelicals are divided and angry. Christianity Today, a major journal, just published an article on this. It explores the regrets of several prominent pastors whose prophecies were false. The article notes: "Their confessions, along the examples of prophets throughout Scripture, offer some useful cautions about the influence of peer pressure, pride, and presumption—and the need for Christians to remain cautious about predictions and open to correction when their interpretations prove false." I didn’t realize until the end how hard so many alleged Trump allies were working against him. McConnell made sure any appointees were uniparty. The Supreme Court nominations apparently meant nothing. The courts refused to hear any fraud cases. Pence turned out to be a traitor. Anything Trump accomplished had to be done by EO because the party wouldn’t support him and now Biden will reverse everything. Literally everyone was working against him. I don’t know how much harder people could’ve worked to keep Trump in office but even if they had it would still be Trump vs the world.
At the time it was a pretty safe bet. You had one candidate drawing thousands of people to political rallies while the other was hanging out alone in his basement.
No question our eyes have been opened. We are no longer asleep--that deadly sleep that sends us drifting toward the abyss. It may be that the world as we know it cannot be saved but souls can be saved by prayer and sacrifice. What I find terrifying quite honestly is the hardness of hearts. All around me--and yet I say nothing. Everything starts a fevered argument so I just pull out the beads instead. I wonder if I should just enter into the argument. So hard to know.
At this point, AED, I'm not sure it would be worth the effort. The coming months will be a great opportunity: keep up your prayer life and sacrificial acts. In other words, your Catholic Faith isn't dependent on who sits in the Oval Office. As things deteriorate, then the socialists will be revealed for who they really are; and the source of your peace will be seen rooted, not in Trump, but in the Two Hearts. Your family will begin "to see" because your prayers will have already laid a foundation. Philippians 4:5 Let all men know your forbearance. The Lord is at hand. 6 Have no anxiety about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
We depended on these people to take a stand, and fight for the truth, but we were sadly deceived. We even hoped it would go to the Supreme Court, but it was hands off. This loss was a major eye opener, but it served a great purpose; it flushed these traitors out into the light. It never even mattered how much evidence was produced they were going to get away with it. The evil Left are empowered. They are loud, aggressive, sinister, corrupt, and well organized. To use an old expression, they have been very successful at 'Raising Cain'. God has exposed the enemies of our Constitution, but we cannot have a victory without the battle. We have no time to lick our wounds or we will be devoured by these lions. So while Biden is busy undoing everything good that came from the Trump administration, we need to build our forces, pray harder, and be a united voice against this evil agenda. I truly believe that God is telling us in no uncertain terms to pick up our swords and fight for our freedom. This election slipped between our fingers, and America is in grave danger.
The BBC, among others, chronicles the collapse of another false prophet, Q. Left-wing press view, below. My question: Will Q ever be outed, and will there ever be an apology to the many who followed? Biden inauguration leaves QAnon believers in disarray By Shayan Sardarizadeh and Olga Robinson BBC Monitoring Followers of the baseless QAnon conspiracy theory are split over how to react after Joe Biden's inauguration confounded their predictions that Donald Trump would remain president in order to punish his enemies in the "deep state". Many reacted with shock and despair as Joe Biden was sworn in as the 46th US president. "I just want to throw up," said one in a popular chat on the Telegram messaging app. "I'm so sick of all the disinformation and false hope." For weeks, QAnon followers had been promoting 20 January as a day of reckoning, when prominent Democrats and other elite "Satanic paedophiles" would be arrested and executed on the orders of President Trump. But, as Mr Biden took his oath and no arrests were made, some in the QAnon community had an uncomfortable meeting with reality. "It's done and we were played," wrote another. In the hours that followed, thousands more made similar comments on platforms like Gab, Telegram and other online forums where believers go to discuss the conspiracy, after being kicked off mainstream social media in the wake of the Capitol riots. Doubt even seeped into posts by some of the biggest influencers of the movement, as some started to question the phrase "trust the plan" - a key QAnon slogan that has been used by Q, an anonymous figure whom followers believe to be an influential government insider. "This is a very difficult day for all of us," said one influencer whose Twitter account with 200,000 followers was recently suspended. "Today's inauguration makes no sense to the Christian patriots and we thought 'the plan' was the way we would take this country back." The QAnon community "risks fracturing", said another influencer on Gab, a right-wing social media platform, adding that "real friendships might be irreparably damaged because people are angry". A number of extremist and neo-Nazi Telegram channels have already tried to capitalise on the chaos in the QAnon community, asking their members to seek out and convert distraught followers. With frustration sweeping over their circles, however, some influential accounts told followers to keep the faith and not give up so easily. One popular Telegram channel reassured its 130,000 subscribers that Mr Trump and the Q team were still in control behind the scenes, and the "evil deeds" of the deep state would be exposed "over the next four years". Some doubled down, criticising those who in their view had rushed to judgement. One claimed Mr Biden was running his administration as an inmate inside a military compound, but he "doesn't know it yet". Later in the day, Ron Watkins, one of the most influential figures in the QAnon community, called on his followers to move on - to the surprise of many observers. The son of Jim Watkins, the man behind 8chan and 8kun - message boards filled with extreme language and views, violence and extreme sexual content on which Q posts - Ron Watkins has been one of the main purveyors of election conspiracies and played a vital role in encouraging some QAnon supporters to gather in Washington DC on 6 January. "We gave it our all," he said to his 120,000 subscribers on Telegram. "Now we need to keep our chins up and go back to our lives as best we are able." As inauguration day drew to a close, QAnon communities were still filled with mixed emotions. Some said they were waiting for "Q", who has been largely silent since election day, to post as they had so many unanswered questions. And some expressed hope that Mr Trump would communicate directly with them soon. However, a considerable chunk of the community remains steadfast in their belief, urging one another to remain patient and keep the faith. It is difficult to predict where the movement goes from here. But some experts and researchers think that QAnon, which has successfully duped hundreds of thousands of followers into thinking they were the only ones able to stop a global cabal of criminals ruling the world, will not simply vanish overnight. Followers "will likely remain a threat until they can exit the QAnon space", tweeted extremism researcher Marc-Andre Argentino. "Even without QAnon, without 'Q', without Trump, the core elements that lead these individuals to believe in QAnon will still remain and they will need to find outlets for their conspiratorial mindsets and their anti-democratic ideals," he added. https://www.bbc.com/news/blogs-trending-55746304 .
I watched the new video by Taylor Marshall called Is There A Plan? He talks about the early church and what real persecution looks like. I think he missed something, unless I am off base. My take on it is that we are in a chastisement and what traditionally was done, in the Old Testament, was prayer and penance. A calling out to God for forgiveness for the many crimes against heaven. Perhaps we took the four years we’ve just had for granted. I know I did. I’m in the UK but your President gave me great hope. We are in a pandemic and many can’t go out or get to Mass. This is tribulation, but we live in a sinful time. I am horrified to learn that my son even thinks the new American leader is a good thing, so I guess I failed to instil in him a spirit of righteousness. Prayer, fasting and penance may yet save us from the evils to come or shorten the time.
The whole phenomena was not what it proclaimed to be from the start but it served its purpose and that was to gather and rally a large group of people to the side of the President in defense of the country from a bondage that has been with us for a long time. It worked and it worked well. The powers that be were and remain frightened by the support it held and will continue to denigrate it and scorn anyone who paid attention to it. They will continue to use multinational corporations to do their dirty work. Nobody will be apologizing for anything. It's the readers prerogative to give these things pride of place in their minds the world is full of intrigues, half truths, and misdirection. Discernment is developed and believe it or not there was plenty of truth to what was being said, just not in the way the mainstream movement took it. Trump is far from done, they know it and now that he is not bridled by the office of the Presidency things are going to take on a whole new direction. Biden can undo some things but he can't put the genie back in the bottle. None of them can. Notice none of them are breathing a sigh of relief.
Qanon took this country by storm for several years. Trump followers thought they were privy to some inside info. It was so sensational....Adenochrome, etc....there was a cult following. I jumped off the wagon after a few months of following closely. They started to get into weird things. My spidey senses were set off. But for the people that held on for three years, they must be devastated. I wonder who was at the bottom of it because they were often able to procure photos on the plane with the president and in his office of his pen his watch. I think Jared Kushner had something to do with it....
I wrote a little paper on this phenomenon last night, I hope it's not too long of a read for you but here goes: The Nothing Burger Well, after being seduced by Q I have determined that it was just a big fantasy. I think computer technology has given a new platform to creative individuals to make entertainment. Kind of like reality tv has become such a big hit. It's almost like writing a fiction book with more tools . . .computer technology, audio capabilities, cool background effects and much more. The sad part is that it can be believable. And it is not just affecting the right wing, but the left wing, and those in the center. I remember as a kid hearing about another creative individual who was using his skills in the new 'media' of radio, and that was Orson Wells with his "War of the Worlds". He didn't intend that people would really believe it, the challange was to make it seem real. However, he had no intention of people killing themselves, or hiding in their closets for fear of the Martians attacking. And we almost got to that point in the last month of Q. Yes, I was skeptical, but I also wanted to believe it was true . . .because I didn't want to see my ideals slashed and crushed. We had come so far in the last four years of bringing our dreams of the original founding fathers back. And we finally had a Pro-Life President! However, in the end, we lost the battle. I do believe there was election fraud. I don't know how much or if it was enough to turn the vote. I also think the left was infiltrating all the Q blogs and giving them food for their strategy. I'm sure that is what happened at the Capitol on Jan. 6. I wonder if the President even fell for some of the Q talk. That is one of the reasons that I think investigative journalism is so important and right now we have a big lack of it. What we have are 'opinionated people' without experience or training. Just for fun, I turned on CNN last night to watch the hoopla over today's inauguration. And one commentator had a guest who was giving his 'opinion' on Biden. The only credentials the guest had was that he was a blogger on the internet. Hey, I am a blogger! But I don't feel qualified to go on CNN and give my opinion. And tonight on the Tucker Carlson show on Fox, they were talking about 'rumors' they heard. Not facts, but rumors. That is NOT good journalism. So, out of curiosity, I started doing some research on the X22 Report. I wanted to know WHO was behind it and who they are. It took a little digging, but I found out it is a computer guy who started it. And of course, a computer guy would have the training and knowledge to put it all together. He has no degrees in political science, he is not an attorney, doesn't even reside on a board of directors. But with Q info and some techie skills he could put together a pretty slick website. And of course he could pick up subscribers and advertisers. Bummer, eh? His name is David Marc Fishman. But he only gives his first name, Dave, on the report, probably doesn't want to get sued. I noticed tonight he had a different slant to his show . . .no more military, no blackouts, no locking up the deep state and sending them off to gitmo. Q has turned out to be a big nothing burger, the king who had no clothes. I w
