Everyone of us has conscience. Doning what they are doing will require multiple players, all of them with consciences. They are playing a slippery game for it only takes a few of them to repent and confess then the whole chess game gets overturned. Doing what they are doing is High Treason and a Mortal Sin. Fox is not available on our tv service. There's an app I can use to watch it on a tablet but the reception isn't great so I don't bother with it: Sometimes I watch Tucker Carlson or Laura Ingraham videos on youtube. There seem to be very influential people in the Republican Party who want Biden to be President. Some pay lip service to get the Trump voters' support for the rest of the Republican candidates. Trump delivered for them but now it looks like they are hoping he will go away. I think that Hugh Hewitt is a bit of an establishment hack. If Trump loses it will be back to the same old, same old excuses for why they couldn't do anything to prevent the whittling away at laws protecting traditional family values but they always manage to protect the ultra rich. Taylor Marshall has a video asking people to take part in peaceful demonstrations at the court buildings in States' capitals. I think the Evangelicals are organising but people of all faiths are invited. It will be daily at around midday and people will pray as they walk around the court building. It's a take on the Biblical account of the Jews walking around Jericho, Joshua blowing his horn and the walls falling down on the seventh day.
They are a disgrace. At the same time, I think that Fr. Pavone has gone OTT on the other side. I admire Fr. Pavone but his prayer for President Trump was a bit like what you'd read on an election pamphlet. God doesn't need to be reminded of the President's accomplishments. He knows already.
Looking at the delays in some of those States, Padraig, I wondered how long they would be counting if they had the PR system. A dozen or so candidates with 3, 4 or 5 seats to be filled. How long would it take them to get to the sixth, seventh or eighth count? Granted, they are counting millions of votes rather than thousands but they're only looking for an X rather than numbers. At the rate they're going the count would take months.
It seems to me that if the Supreme Court strikes down the Pennsylvania law they are likely to say that their decision doesn't apply to this year's election because if it did it would disenfranchise millions of citizens who voted by mail in good faith.
Something I heard on the radio this afternoon. (Maybe on Kresta in the Afternoon?) There have been all these media outlets that, for the past 4 years, have been pushing the narrative that Trump is worse than Mussolini. Not just occasionally but daily, and not just American outlets but international outlets like The Guardian. If, in fact, Trump is worse than Mussolini, would it not be your duty to use whatever means available to remove him from power? If you have bought into that narrative, then you have no conscience problems; in fact, your conscience would be nagging you if you DIDN'T do something, ANYTHING, to free us from this evil. "Woe to those who call evil good and good evil."
If I did my job the way they appear to do theirs I'd be hitting the street in no time. It's quite incredible.
