I would like to raise a different perspective for those who dissent from all out support for President Donald Trump and Republican principles. I was not surprised to see a poster called Irishguy2 supporting Biden and the democrats. After all Ireland voted in members of government who legalised abortion, same sex marriage and I believe euthenasia. There has to be a silent majority of Irish voters who in their heart of hearts could not give a monkeys curse where the Faith of our Fathers is concerned. And when people like myself (and many others hint, hint) get on our pulpit of high minded moral views and beliefs, all we do is get on their nerves. Irishguy2, I respect your choice to voice your support for Biden and the democrat party. With all due respect I don't share your views. What really concerns me is, here we are praying for God's assistance in bringing about what we perceive to be a fair and just society in America, a society where religious beliefs should be respected. We are encouraged by people like Abp Vigano, Life Site News, Taylor Marshall, Michael Voris, Father Altman, Bishop Strickland and many others interceding with God for all that we believe is good and wholesome for the future of our children, and indeed the very future of the Mystical Body of Christ on earth. On the other hand it would appear that the Holy Father, how many Cardinals, Bishops, Priests and religious are praying to the same God we turn to, for Biden and the democrats to successfully take control of the Government in America. It must also be noted there has to be a whole lot of Catholics praying along with the likes of Irishguy2 in union with this group of people for a democrat victory at this election. Now we are told we are not fighting earthly foes in our spiritual warfare. We are fighting Principalities and Powers in the air. There are demons and devils getting the power to control our very lives through those who do what is evil in the sight of God. And none of us can say hand on heart we have never supported the evil forces. Every time we sin, we are giving power and ammunition to the enemy of God. Silencing souls like Irishguy2, only feeds souls who are trapped in darkness with more anger and frustration which simply gives the devil more power. Because we are openly playing into the hands of the evil one whose goal is to separate us. I don't honestly think Irishguy2 is an evil person, I honestly think he or she is winding us up. My grandson loves to wind me up with stories about where the Church is headed that would make the hair stand on the back of your neck, and I won't print any of it incase it gives ideas to anyone who enjoys winding up us pious old biddies. All we really need to do is Keep Watch and Pray. IMHO PS. I think it is necessary to explain the term "winding us up." In England there is a sense of humour which is based on sarcasm. It means that someone can tell you something they know will annoy you, and they will enjoy watching you get annoyed. It is called "winding you up." Very well stated! We live in a physical world under a spiritual influence...both evil and good. It is the spiritual guided by the Holy Spirit that we pray to influence the other...but it will take a great multitude to overcome the absolute evil that this world has scrummed to. God have mercy!
I’m sure God will halt and put a stop to it Dolours, but His ways are not ours. I fear the retribution that awaits a nation that has for so long allowed the slaughter of these innocents.
