This article gives us an idea of what took place during conclave. Within the context of free will it would seem there was something special taking place. www.religionnews.com/2013/03/15/the-story-behind-pope-francis-election/
Reading that article, I can't help but be more than a little reminded of the Locutions for the World... Perhaps there is something in them yet.
I love the sincerity of the Father of the child in the womb in this video, asking for his son's blessing to the Holy Father.
The writer states; "According to La Repubblica, an Italian daily with good sources in the Vatican, Washington’s Cardinal Donald Wuerl played a key role in rallying the Americans to Bergoglio, and they were followed by European bishops such as Vingt-Trois.". If this is true, at least one cardinal has broken the Conclave oath regarding the secrecy of what happened within the conclave and is automatically excommunicated. If it is not true, then the whole article it totally unreliable. Take your pick.
Cardinal Dolan was asked these questions many times on Catholic radio. Over and over he said, I cannot speak of these things....I can't believe truth in that article.
Anyone need a pair of red shoes, theyre up for grabs...http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/religion/the-pope/9932983/Pope-Francis-ditches-red-shoes.html
I saw an interview with Wuerl on EWTN and he certainly shed a bit of light on the proceedings. I wonder have some of the cardinals just gotten caught up in the moment and let their mouths run away with them.
Come to think of it, Pope Francis revealed quite a bit about what went on inside the conclave in his address to the media earlier today. See news.va website.
I have been searching for the video of his talk with the journalists. I can't find it! Only 2 minute clips and text. If someone knows where it is, can you post a link to it? I would be very grateful.
