It doesn't matter how much I read or where the pendulum swings, I have found for myself in a brief time, it is all the same, live a good life, follow the ten commandments, study your faith, live it, repent, and it is through love and self sacrifice that we can get closer to God, through Mary to come again repeatedly to bring us all back home, to assure us of her Sons love and Divine endless mercy. We are so loved and worthy, if only we could accept this within, we can move forward. we can look deeper within and move forth, give all to God. Our primary goal is to cleanse ourselves spiritually and give thanks to all we have right now, food and shelter. My heart bleeds for so many children are starving and sick, the world wide spread of infectious diseases ,( I am referring to not just the sins of the flesh but due to contaminated waters and food.) the sins of all and the belief that hell, Adam and EVe are forklores. God have mercy on all those that are unknown to you and those that have it all, Lukewarm CAtholics/Christains. Lord help those that Satan has taken full hold of, for it destroyes us all if we are not knowledgable in aiding them as we should to repent and know they are worthy of forgiveness.

I grew up with a border collie that looked exactly like your avatar. His name was bandit and he was named after the little dog on the 'Johnny Quest cartoon' that I used to watch on Sat. mornings. I loved that dog! I remember riding in the backseat with no seatbelts with my other two siblings and Bandit in the summertime all the way from KC Mo. to Minnosoda with the windows rolled down and the dog panting the entire trip while sitting on the floor of the car. I think I stared at him for hours watching him drool...lol He used to come with me when I rode my horse and was the best dog a kid could have. Why did you pick that avatar?

I'm going to throw my proverbial two cents in.... We need to remember that there are THOUSANDS IF NOT MILLIONS of apparitions and visions having gone on and are ongoing in the world. There are more than 100,000 in Ukraine alone! They take VERY seriously dreams, visions and apparitions and their faith is something I've never witnessed before, except in Korea. Its humbling to an american who is turned off by plastic flowers, Christmas lights and tinsel....but when that is ALL you have for decoration and veneration it is precious and endearing. iN Ukraine, the priests bring the person up in front of the church and tells the whole congregation that so and so had a vision, or apparition or dream and they pray about it as a congregation! There are thousands of priests who handle all these visions and apparitions and many times they are true and never get to the level past the Bishop. We won't even know about them in our lifetime!! THAT DOESN'T MEAN THEY ARE NOT TRUE. Many times they are for a certain area, a certain parish, a certain prayer group or for the person and a certain mission that they are suppose to accomplish for God. I'm amazed that on a forum on the MOTHER OF GOD that the criticism of apparitions and visions is so aggressive. I hesitate at all to share any of the things that have happened to me on my journey that have so changed my life that even my whole family has changed. When a person goes public with visions, dreams or apparitions or locutions, they step out in faith. MANY visionaries etc. start out on the right track AND ARE TAKEN OFF TRACK BY POOR SPIRITUAL DIRECTORS! GOD have mercy! As Mark Miravalle said, don't throw the baby out with the bath water for a few mistakes, HOWEVER; THE PERSON MUST ACKNOWLEDGE the mistake and go on (and that includes the spiritual director). If ST. JOHN OF THE CROSS AND THERESA OF AVILA can do it, we can too. I read plenty of scripture, go to bible study, go to Mass, live the faith, practice the faith, PREACH the faith and still am so hesitant for fear of the wolves, that I had GREAT empathy for Pope Benedict. I research apparitions and locutions and I find that I could be researching soils for gardening, the latest curriculum for homeschooling, 21 ways to love my husband better or sushi recipes for the frugal, BUT I DON'T. I am interested in this....and in 2007 I printed out from the MANY MANY articles from Spirit daily a story about a man who had seen the blessed virgin mary in Prison and it had changed his life forever....and I was amazed and touch and I put it in my 'inspiration file' that I keep for when I am feeling down. I pulled it out the other day and realized, it was Padraig....and that God in his mercy had put ME in touch with this wonderful soul who I prayed for long ago...and I had not remembered until the other day when I got it out of my file. God is so, so good! So lets not bash people who have found their way to God through reading other's apparitions or locutions, no matter how they got there. Good or bad. Those people who believe MDM are needing our prayers RIGHT NOW, so God can open to their eyes to truth and so they won't just throw in the towel....and be bitter for being duped. Our LORD AND OUR LADY have said REPEATEDLY...that they desire to speak to each one of us. What happens when we aren't willing to be open hearted enough to listen to them??? Because it is not JUST THE FEW they desire to speak to ---its EVERYONE. So if you want to be part of the remnant, you need to open your heart. Ask for the gifts of the holy spirit to give you his gifts.

I hope that it hasn't come across that I am bashing anyone. That was never my intention. I am very happy with what I deem to be good visions/dreams and locutions. That is when they are in accordance to the Gospels and no mistakes are made. I do think however that we should be very very careful. My auntie is very vulnerable and has been sucked in by the two Patrick's. It is heartbreaking. She really believed that Benedict was the anti christ, still believes it. I have had so called 'gifted' people telling me that all the abuse that happened in my life happened because God sometimes needs to break the pot. He willed it all to happen!!! That is ludicrous. I was 19 when I was told this, and many nodded and smiled in agreement. They have no idea who God is. God never ever wills sin! So, I am very careful, I watch, I wait and see, However, if there are no mistakes, there is nothing in them contrary to the Gospels and the people themselves are genuine and pointing to Christ rather than themselves, then I am very happy to listen. But I will go back again and say... Mass, Prayer, Sacraments, Rosary, Reading the bible, in particular the Gospels, and having devotion to Mother Mary is the best way forward... The prophets point to this, I get very concerned when the messages are heavy and condescending and very very judgemental, and the person says... well it is God who is talking not me.. Bit like a puppeteer who blames his puppet when he wants to offend someone. God chides yes, but He is ever loving, and he never ever tells us to disobey the pope or not to listen to him, oh my gosh..... what a ground for a schism..
We all have to accept that indeed God is pouring out His gifts and Holy Spirit as in such a way as is never seen before. Scripture itself tells us this... I am in a rush now, but if anyone wants to read these verses, I will happily post them here.
When looking at this picture today in this "Signs During The Conclave" thread, I was struck with a much different feeling: "Signs Before The Conclave". Or better yet: "Sings Before The Resignation". This occurred 33 days before the resignation. I wonder what April 2nd might bring, which is 33 days after the resignation? April 2nd is the future Feast of Saint John Paul II.
