    This young nun was from my own part of the world; I strongly suspect she will be canonised one day.

    She died very recently. This is her story. She seemed to shoot to holiness very,very quickly indeed. So young!!

    Very, very touching; God is marvellous in his saints.

    I would so love to see her canonised. We need saints so badly round here. Well we need them everywhere.

    She is a Saint without a doubt, loved the beautiful visage described just before she died. I have never seen gifts put to such great use. Hard to beat that northern wit and she has it by the bucket load. Thanks again.

    I was touched by several things about Sr Clare.

    In the first place, like St Therese of Liseaux she had an interior understanding that she would not have a long life. Also like St Therese (and other young saints) as the time for her departure came closer this feeling seemed to get stronger. It reminds me of one of the mass readings for the dead, from the Book of Wisdom, which speaks of people being made perfect in a short time and so being able to be brought home. These souls are like little firework rockets that blaze across the sky and dissappear.

    The Book ofWisdom

    Chapter 4

    7 The upright, though he die before his time, will find rest.

    8 Length of days is not what makes age honourable, nor number of years the true measure of life;

    9 understanding, this is grey hairs, untarnished life, this is ripe old age.

    10 Having won God's favour, he has been loved and, as he was living among sinners, has been taken away.

    evil may not warp his understanding or deceitfulness seduce his soul;

    evil throws good things into the shade, and the whirlwind of desire corrupts a simple heart.

    13 Having come to perfection so soon, he has lived long;

    soul being pleasing to the Lord, he has hurried away from the wickedness around him. Yet people look on, uncomprehending; and it does not enter their heads

    grace and mercy await his chosen ones and that he intervenes on behalf of his holy ones.

    Also I noticed that her family were not at all religious. Quite the reverse. In fact they seem to have regarded her sudden vocation as a kind of madness. Usually with religous vocations and in the lives of saints we find that they come from a line of saints ,so to speak. Like Our Blessed Lady , for instance who came from a long line of saints, going back to King David himself. But the Spirit blows where He will and God is marvellous in His saints.

    John 3:8

    The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.

    It is wonderful how the Holy Spirt can cause a rich harvest to bloom in a desolate land; from out of nowhere. A great source of hope. No one is outside the Mercy of the Living God. I see that through her own conversion and vocation her family is itself moving to conversion.

    Her Spiritual Director , Fr Raphael seems himself to be a living saint. He is the founder of two religious orders which seem to be flourishing richly and God seems to have tapped him him about pushing Sr Clares Cause for Canonsiation forward by having this film made. He knew her better than anyone and being himself a saint is best palced to judge. It is wonderful the way the Holy Spirit renews the Church by bring forward new charisms and saints for every generation.

    To all who received him, who believed in his name, he gave power to become children of God. These were born not by human generation, not by the desire of the flesh, not by the will of man, but of God. All who believed in Christ, he says, received power to become children of God, that is, of the Holy Spirit, and to gain kinship with God. To show that their parent was God the Holy Spirit, he adds these words of Christ: I give you this solemn warning, that without being born of water and the Spirit, no one can enter the kingdom of God.

    It is so very touching that she suffered ver yoften from migraine headaches. I noitce watching her outwardly she was full of joy and she was ndeed. But looking closely I can see signs of great pain and suffering. If you look at the pictures of St Therese of Liseaux and other saints too you cna see the sahdow of the cross acroos their faces.

    Matthew 16:24

    Take Up Your Cross
    23But Jesus turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to Me. For you do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men.” 24Then Jesus told His disciples, “If anyone would come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me. 25For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.…

    It's kind of curious. I notice her Order seems to wear several different colours of habits. They are beautiful and traditional while ebing at the same time modern. I love this.

    I listened twice to these videos. God is truly wonderful in his saints. Here is a millennial girl given such an outpouring of grace she literally gave up everything and like St Francis walked away and became radically for Christ. All or nothing. And this after living the life of a neopagan. How m.illenials need saints like this. How good God is.

    I wonder sometimes who one person and not another? Out of so millions on the planet why her, why this particular girl?
    She rmeinds me of an Aunt of mine. Moria. She is always smiling and full of joy. It is so good to have a saint who reminds me of a relative.:)

    Blessed Thanksgiving Day to all Canadians!

    For those of you who have watched All or Nothing: Sr. Clare Crockett on YouTube, and even for those who have not:

    I highly recommend Sr. Clare Crockett’s biography, Alone with Christ Alone, written by her contemporary, a nun who is a member of Sr. Clare’s congregation.

    It recounts Sr. Clare’s struggles in her interior life as she strived to be closer to Jesus and be faithful to her vocation, as well as her mystical experiences.

    Filled with spiritual lessons and encouragement for religious and laypeople, the youth, fallen away Christians, and everyone else.

    Available on Amazon, both kindle edition and hard copy.
