this could be a long thread or very short I've started this thread to document any signs/events/incidents we hear of during the conclave that could be interpreted as a sign from God. For instance, I was listening to EWTN today, and a priest was being interviewed and he was talking about staying safe from lightning and storms. I didn't know what he meant. Later in the day I heard another interview, and they said that there was a hailstorm and tremendous thunder during the mass today I believe before the cardinals went into the conclave (did they go in today?? I think so). At least I know the thunder was during the sermon, but I'm not positive the hail was during the mass. As well, I'm not sure if this type of weather is common in Rome this time of year. Anyway, given the Vatican lightning strikes on the day Benedict retired, now hail and tremendous thunder as the conclave starts...well, seems like some signs to me!
There is a Comet visable last night through this week, and it won't be back for another 120,000 years. Wonder if this could be a sign?? http://theextinctionprotocol.wordpr...starrs-to-make-appearance-over-north-america/
It's important to keep our feet grounded when it comes to signs from God. I feel if He wants to give a sign we won't be left in any doubt!
Anyone watching live now? There has been one or another seagull perched on the chimney for the longest time. Not sure if it's sign or not but kind of weird anyway.
Ok there is now a dove sitting on top of the chimney ! http://www.nbcnews.com/video/nbcnews.com/51133846/#51133846 This is the live webcam....
This Picture wasn't taken during the conclave, but is from This year's Day of Peace, after Papa Bene released a Dove, the Dove was attacked by a Seagull and had difficulty getting away.
Yeah...I just posted that in another part of forum. I believe it's a seagull though...haha...oops it WAS this thread...haha
That was a seagull. When I was in the service, we used to call them rats with wings. I sincerely hope that this is NOT a sign of anything more than Rome's proximity to the sea.
For those of you that would feel more holy watching it live on the Vatican YouTube channel...haha..here is the link...http://www.youtube.com/user/vatican
I agree Garabandal.... Full of expectation and uncertainty. Will this Pope speak of Mary in his intitial delivery message?>
