Again I don't want to depress but in Hong Kong for instance the weather is very warm and the virus is heading on full steam. Hot climates may slow it, they won't stop it. Because there is no Herd Immunity, this being a Novel Virus. As to Immunisation , it is very problematical. There is an abreacation from the bodies immune system in this case when it is stimulated. The anti bodies which immunisation stimulate tend in this case to attack the body and make things worse. That is why we have had reports of second , fatal attacks of the virus. During the tempest that assailed him, he had the comfort of prayer and of private consolation from the Virgin and Jesus. I had heard of the Father. Padre Pio had a whole family of saints wrapped round him. Marvellous, many of them wonder workers and stigmatics. I remember he described one particular lady as a very,very great saint, far closer to God than himself . The mind boggles. Just imagine far holier than Padre Pio....

One of the most wonderful gifts to be given in this life is to meet a living saint. But oh so rare!! There are quite a few very holy and even saintly people, but a true living saint is truly a wonder, like meeting an angel walking.

The new NCP (Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia) may not show signs of infection for many days, so how can one know if he/she is infected? By the time the person infected has a fever and/or cough and goes to the hospital, his/her lungs are usually 50% fibrosis (alveoli) which means it is too late. Taiwan experts provide a simple self-check that you can do every morning: 1) Take a deep breath and hold it for more than 10 seconds. If you complete it successfully without coughing or discomfort, stuffiness, tightness, etc. it is a sign that there is no fibrosis in the lungs, which basically indicates there is no infection. So be sure to do this self-check EVERY morning in an environment with clean air. Also Japanese doctors that have treated COVID-19 (Coronavirus disease 2019) cases relate the following: 2) Everyone should ensure his/her mouth & throat is moist and never dry. To so ensure, take a few sips of water at least every 15 mins. Why? Because even if the virus enters your mouth, drinking water or other liquids will wash it down through the esophagus and into the stomach. Once in there, the stomach acids will kill the virus. 3) Naturally, as has been advised, wash your hands regularly for 20 seconds using soap and water, or using an alcohol-based sanitizer that contains 60-95% alcohol, so as to avoid passing the virus (if present) from your hands to the eyes, nose or mouth via direct contact.
I would say one thing about all that is going on the world, It has brought God and Our Lady so very,very, very close. It also forces me to pay close attention to stay in a state of grace. I worry a little if they close the Churches that there might be no way to get to the Sacrament of Confession. That's a concern. But my bags are packed and I am perfectly willing to go, if the Good God calls me. Whenever, wherever, however. With a smile. With a big smile.
