It's a speeding train shrieking around the bend toward the station. That's how it feels to me. I have to consciously put on my own brakes and quiet my soul often now or I feel I am swept up in it.
Beth, I really shouldn't have called it a guess, it was more of an observation. I have given up on truly guessing when the Warning and the Miracle will be, those who know are supposed to know (and that's not me ). I will add this though that only those who are supposed to know what God and the Blessed Mother meant by "when things are at their worst" understand this. I have given this a lot of thought and I have many ideas about it but I don't think anyone here really knows what was meant by this either. Our best bet is to be ready spiritually and to keep praying fervently. + We'll know when we are supposed to know. May God bless you and everyone else here always. Ann, Same for me and it doesn't feel good to begin to get swept up in it, not good at all.
I feel time has accelerated greatly over the last number of years but there has been an even great acceleration this year so far, I have mentioned it a lot to people at work and they don't seem to see it, they mostly feel the opposite.
I love Fr. Mark too! Although I was surprised that he went out on a limb like this. I saw a Twitter post about him just yesterday by someone who had heard Fr. Mark speaking in tongues. I wondered if this was true. I knew he had a parish in Texas, but I did not realize that he is the director of the Catholic Charismatic Center. No wonder he is so passionate.
Then they aren't paying attention. It is so obvious that we are are hurling toward something--i pray and hope it is the reign of the Immaculate Heart.
I completely agree. I wish it was soon, but honestly, I think things are going to get a lot worse....we are certainly on our way. God justice may not be this year, but it’s not too far....I hope!
I think Charismatics are a little bit more open to the Prophesy than many other Catholics are. Perhaps this is because Prophesy is a Gift of the Holy Spirit. The most famous Modern prophecy of Modern Times that came true was given by an American layperson in Rome as a Conference who predicted Our Lady coming to Medugorje before it actually .happened. In fact Medugorje was predicted by several sources. https://mysticpost.com/2018/03/incredible-unknown-prophecy-medjugorje/ I have found Traditional Catholics to be the most open of all to the Mystical/ Supernatural and Prophesy generally though. So to any such sources and you will find them jam packed with such stuff. Especially about Fatima.
well, maybe it’s aging that makes time feel like it’s speeding by...not sure. But I’m glad it feels that way to me. I’m ok with that
I heard someone say this just the other week. I know as we get older time does seem to speed up, but even so. They say the reason time seems to speed up as you get older is because you have so many memories. Young people are encountering things they never saw or heard before and this takes more effort to pack away in the brain cells and so time seems longer. I remember as a child waiting for Christmas; it seemed like centuries. One thing I find myself recently is being more and more impatience with nonsense. If I turn on the radio on and listen to people chattering away about nothing I turn it off right away. In the Light of what is coming such a lot of stuff seems complete nonsense.
I absolutely agree. It is all static. Idle chatter. I turn it right off. My husband is following the impeachment hearings very closely and watching all the commentary on CNN. ( he detests DJT) I told him it all seems like looking at the world through the wrong end of a telescope. Far away and trivial.
I love watching Fr. Mark’s YouTube videos. I believe we have him back in Canada again at St. Mary’s Parish in Ottawa.
oh my gosh...you are so right. I too have no time for nonsense. So many extremely important issues especially revolving around our church, faith and eternity! How folks get mired down in life’s trivial issues is beyond me. Don’t they even think about the eternal life? Hollywood, sports, etc.mean nothing to me except that I pity those consumed with their obsession with these. They really don’t get it. Hopefully when the warning happens, their eyes will finally be open....and their souls will be saved. We are all sinners, its just that some don’t even think about their life as eternal. It will be a hard lesson for everyone...and we all need to see how God views our souls. I both fear it....and welcome it.
I used to love politics. I watched the watergate hearings daily in the 70’s...but now, I don’t bother. God is in control....I’ll trust Him to work it all out.. but, I’ll definitely be voting for Trump Pray, Hope.....and don’t worry
Yet, another very Holy priest, Father Altier speaks to 2020. All his homilies are excellent. He is from the Minneapolis area> This is one you can send to family, relatives, friends who are clueless of the times.
