So unusual, the blend of two sides of a man. The Ying and the Yang. He reminds of one of the fierce old Japanese Samurai who used to kill all round them and then sit down to write poetry. The Holy Spirit blows where He Will. His Bishop must have been a very holy man tounderstand him. A lot of Bishops would have given the thumbs down.
I would say one thing about the Catholic Bishops in the USA and this is that I have misjudged them/. They are in a very ,very difficult position indeed as regards the present clique in the Vatican. He Vatican holds all the aces; they hold all the power. So I believe they are playing the long hand, hoping for changes, a new Pope. This is very clever , wise and subtle. It reminds me of the words of Jesus: Matthew 10:16 "I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves.? It's hard to beat someone with four aces, but they are waiting their time, I think. Waiting for better times is just about all they can do at the moment.
