As there was a lightening strike on the Vatican when Pope Benedict resigned followed by an attack by seagulls and crows on the 'peace doves' released by Pope Francis, I am expecting (hoping) for an even more dramatic sign from heaven before/during/after this Amazon Synod which is intended to bury millennia of tradition and be the culmination of the St.Gallen/Homosexual mafia's subversion.
I had to laugh at this. We mix with immigrants every day in our neighbourhoods, workplaces and places of leisure. Only in our churches are they separated from us. The Church divides us by language with Masses in English, Polish, Spanish and any other language except Latin which is the official language of the Church. And Latin is the language through which we were united at Mass for many centuries. The sheer incompetence and poor vision of our earthly leadership is the most convincing proof that God protects our Church because as often as not He is protecting it from the harm inflicted by their small minded and short sighted decisions.
I’ve believed that for a very long time. They may get the infrastructure, but they will lose the truly faithful. All we need is to hold fast to the faith. The others lose eternity..... In the end, God wins! As will the faithful
I think that there are two ways of looking at the world around us. There is the human/material way of looking at people and thig sby how much they are wroth. Then there is the Spiritual Way that looks inwards at how people and things look from God's perspective. From the insde out so to speak. As St Paul says, 'The spiritual judge all things spirtually. ' St James was very on this in Scripture when he noted than when the wealthy came to worship they got the best seats while the poor where left to stand at the back. James 2:3 A Warning against Favoritism …2Suppose a man comes into your meeting wearing a gold ring and fine clothes, and a poor man in shabby clothes also comes in. 3If you lavish attention on the man in fine clothes and say, “Here is a seat of honor,” but say to the poor man “You must stand,” or, “Sit at my feet,” 4have you not discriminated among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?… I thiink this material top down way of looking at things is the way the devil looks at it too. So if he has a Pope and Cardinals and Bishops, the heads of Relgious Orders and the intellectuals, the Great Buildings and Universites, the Bank Accounts and so on; then he has won the game. But not so. The true wealth of the Church lies in the People of God, the Little Ones and those the devil can never have for they have given their hearts to quite another.
If only PF would care about my soul and my well being as much as he appears to care for migrants. I am not a migrant but apparently my soul does not need as much "press". I think abortion should be given more press than migration. But what do I know.
Last time I checked no matter the race or ethnicity the SA countries are no different than any other.....there is basically one main language, one largely basic culture, traditions, etc. all being that of hispanic. All those many differences the Pope seems to think are equally celebrated in his mixture idea must nevertheless conform to the character of that particular country in which they've chosen to live. Seems like his idea of utopia on earth is another tower of babel. Each country must have stability and structure by natural order or it will have a tyrant dictator take over and force it. And that answer in his homeland, Argentina, was his experience with the Perons. What the Pope REALLY has in mind is a benevolent type dictator like that only on a world scale/NWO. And you know who that is prophesied to be for such total control over so many. Look at the former Yugoslavia under Tito who forced order and cooperation and what happened to the place once he was gone....the Balkan wars!
Take care not to let yourself be manipulated into adopting a stance you wouldn't have taken were the manipulators not using spin to make it appear that opposing the mass slaughter of unborn babies is synonymous with hating people displaced by war or forced by poverty to migrate. That's a modernist/atheist/pro-abortion tactic. We're Catholics and for us being pro-life and caring about the poor/marginalised/displaced are not mutually exclusive. That the Pope has jumped on the pro-abortion bandwagon doesn't mean that we have to jump onto the anti migrant bandwagon. The same clever manipulative tactics have been used to unfairly label people who support genuine programmes to help people in real need but don't support open borders and the rest of the globalists' agenda.
I agree. I believe in migration and helping the marginalized. Always. But open borders are not in the mix. PF seems to marginalize people that don't believe in open borders. PF is political, IMO. I don't think of him as a kind pastor. I see him as a politician. Just my take on it this evening. Although, I pray for him every day and offer masses for him regularly.
Matteo Salvini in Passignano sul Trasimeno Posted on September 29, 2019 by Baron Bodissey Last week former Italian Interior Minister Matteo Salvini visited the town of Passignano sul Trasimeno in Perugia. In the video below you’ll see him pressing the flesh and having selfies taken with supporters in the crowd. He then speaks to the assembled citizens about the new government and its pro-migration policies. VIDEO https://gatesofvienna.net/2019/09/matteo-salvini-in-passignano-sul-trasimeno/
It's a clever tactic on the part of the globalist/population controllers to label people who aren't on board with their agenda. There's nothing wrong with helping immigrants. Europe and the US have been absorbing immigrants for a long time before the St. Gallen group and the Jesuits dreamed up their Catholic Spring.
There is a HUGE difference between helping people and the INVASION of Europe which has been deliberately orchestrated over the past couple of years. Why?? All those raped, robbed, groomed, sold drugs, knifed, terrorised, murdered, deprived of housing, school places, hospital treatment, seen the character of their villages and town lands stolen from them have a right to ask us: what right did you have to allow this to happen to us to allow yourselves to feel self-righteously smug? As a parent I have a God-given duty to safeguard and care for my particular children before anyone else's. Otherwise I am negligent. Likewise those with responsibility for europe's citizens. They have deliberately harmed their own citizens now, and have caused untold problems for them in the future as the demographic proportions of Europeans to Afro/ islamic incomers swings 360'. There was a reason for the battle of Lepanto. If help is to be given, as it always has been anyway, it should be to develop their own countries with strict oversight of where the money is going. Throwing tax payers money to endemically corrupt regimes is not a Christian act. Europe and our Christian way of living and thinking is under UNBELIEVABLE attack. I feel under seige in my own neighbourhood and country. I no longer feel 100% safe and every time I go out I see our laws flouted in big ways and small. I have no problem in declaring that the leven of the Holy Spirit and Sanctifying Grace in our societies for two millennia HAS made them superior and wouldn't it be rather strange if it HADN'T??? I for one would rather be attacked for defending our way of life than feeling self-righteously smug at the expense of those most directly affected by this invasion.
I'm not disagreeing with you. I'm advising folk to be careful not to play into their hands by using the kind of language which lets them pigeon hole us. I'm convinced that the language coming from the Vatican about rigid Catholics hating migrants is a distraction from the real battle to destroy Christ's Church. In the end that's the only fight which really matters. Hindsight has raised Malachi Martin's predictions almost to prophetic status. He wasn't a prophet nor did he claim to be one but he was intelligent and perceptive. This 1990 interview with Bernard Janzen is enough to send shivers down the spine even of the most cynical. It's different than the Art Bell interviews because evidently Bernard Janzen is/was a believing Catholic so there's less of the theatrical about Fr. Martin. All of the interview is worth listening to but listen to the last ten minutes or so if you're short of time. Fr. Martin believed it would be SHTF time within ten years. Apparently, Pope John Paul believed that it would happen in his lifetime. The forces he describes then working against Pope John Paul (including Cardinal Kasper) are now in control of the Church and their agenda as described by him is being implemented.
I came across this first tweet on Steve Skojec's twitter account yesterday and I think that these tweets could be helpful to us if things continue to get worse until they eventuallyy get much, much better.
HH, You're very welcome. The following is good too. Taylor Marshall: Amazon Synod might be ‘attempt to change Catholic morality’ https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/t...tch-amazon-synod-roundtable-discussion-online September 27, 2019 (LifeSiteNews) — Best-selling author Dr. Taylor Marshall believes there is a growing “concern that this [Amazon] Synod might be an attempt to change not only our Catholic morality but our perennial theology.” Marshall is also calling on Catholics to register for Voice of the Family's “Our Church – reformed or deformed?” conference. The historic roundtable discussion will focus on the upcoming Amazon Synod. It will be held in Rome at Hotel Massimo D'Azeglio on Friday, October 4 and will be live-streamed online at no cost by LifeSiteNews from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m Rome Time (9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon U.S. Eastern Standard Time). The roundtable will feature for the first time ever lay leaders like Michael Matt, Professor Roberto de Mattei, and John-Henry Westen joining forces to tackle the hard questions being discussed at the synod. (Read below for a full list of participants.) Every time there has been a “heretical problem in the Chrch” it has “always been an inside job,” Marshall asserts. But “every time there has been an infiltration, God has always used it for good. He's always used it to bring about greater clarity — on Catholic theology, Catholic morality — and also brought about great saints and a greater sanctity in the Catholic Church.” Click here to register for the roundtable online for free! The Pan-Amazonian Synod will take place between October 6 and 27. At stake are the gifts of celibacy, the nature of the priesthood, and the concept of evangelization itself. Cardinal Walter Brandmüller, one of the two remaining dubia cardinals, called the synod's working document “heretical” and an “apostasy” from Divine Revelation. [Let us not forget that "Cdl. Burke on Amazon Synod Working Document: ‘Apostasy’ " also. https://www.churchmilitant.com/news/article/amazon-synod-is-apostasy-cardinal-burke ] Given the gravity of the synod, this roundtable discussion is too important to miss! Instead of a mandatory fee, LifeSite is asking its registrants to donate a charitable gift of whatever they can to help cover the costs for this one-of-a-kind event. Again, do not miss out on this opportunity. Click here to register to watch the roundtable online for free! Participants in the roundtable discussion, which will be moderated by John Smeaton, chief executive of the Society for the Protection of Unborn Children (UK), include: John-Henry Westen (LifeSiteNews, Canada) Prof. Roberto de Mattei (Corrispondenza Romana, Italy) Dr. Taylor Marshall (Author, USA) Michael Matt (The Remnant, USA) Michael Voris (Church Militant, USA) Jeanne Smits (Journalist, France) Marco Tosatti (Stilum Curiae, Italy) José Antonio Ureta (TFP, France) Riccardo Cascioli (La Nuova Bussola Quotidiana, Italy) The discussion will be held in English with simultaneous translation into Italian.
Here´s this "Frei Betto", who has promoted liberation theology for years and been a friend of Latin America´s worst communist leaders. Brazilian liberation theologian: ‘Seize’ the Amazon Synod, it’s ‘of the greatest importance’ abortion, amazon synod, brazil, carlos alberto libanio christo, catholic, frei betto, homosexuality, jair bolsonaro, pope francis NATAL, Brazil, September 26, 2019 (LifeSiteNews) ― A liberation theologian told an audience that they must “seize” the Pan-Amazonian Synod. Video footage has emerged of Domincian priest Carlos Alberto Libanio Christo, better known as Frei Betto, 75, telling an audience at the 11th National Summit for Faith and Politics this July that it would be better not to “propose liberation theology” in order to achieve their goals at the synod. “There is one issue that can be a gateway for the mobilization of many people: let’s not start by speaking of liberation theology straight away; this scares people,” he said, speaking in Portuguese. “Let’s start by talking about social-environmental issues.” He added: “We need to mobilize and seize the Pan-Amazonian Synod, which is a synod of the greatest importance.” The video concludes with Frei Betto, who once advised for the now disgraced former President of Brazil, Lula de Silva, saying that the synod would “anger the Bolsonaro government.” Jair Bolsonaro is the current president of Brazil and has most recently been in the news for asserting to the United Nations the sovereignty of Brazil over its territory in the Amazon and blasting the country’s former regime. According to PBS, Bolsonaro said: “My country was very close to socialism, which led us to a situation of widespread corruption, serious economic recession, high crime rates and continuous ceaseless attack against family and religious values that are part and parcel of our traditions.” Bolsonaro decried the idea that the Amazon belongs to the world and accused foreigners of sentimentalizing its indigenous peoples. The 11th National Summit for Faith and Politics was hosted in the Archdiocese of Natal, the capital city of the state of Rio Grande do Norte, in Northeastern Brazil, between July 12 and July 14, 2019. It was promoted with the assistance of the Service of Rural Assistance of the Archdiocese of Natal, and its theme was “Democracy, Public Policy and Social Alternatives.” Ricardo German, a Brazilian student of philosophy and theology at Edinburgh University, told LifeSiteNews via social media that Frei Betto is a proud socialist. “Betto openly considers himself a socialist, going as far as to affirm that socialism is “the political term for ‘love,’” German said. “He was a political advisor to, and personal friends with, Brazil’s former president and convicted money-launderer and embezzler Lula da Silva―an advocate for same-sex ‘marriage’ and abortion―as well as to Cuban dictator Fidel Castro,” he continued. German recalled that Frei Betto is also in favor of the legalization of abortion, having once said, “Even though I am against abortion, I support its decriminalization in certain cases.” The Dominican priest doubled-down by saying, “The State is secular and must have the right to defend the lives of the poorest women by ceasing to criminalise abortion, which does not entail supporting it.” In a 2013 interview with Inter Press Services, the liberation theologian declared that his movement should not be consigned to the past. “Liberation theology still plays an important role in the Latin American Catholic Church, especially in and through basic Christian communities, Bible reading groups, and meetings like the forthcoming National Conference on Faith and Politics in Brasilia in November,” he said. “I believe, moreover, that this school of thought has compelled papal discourse on social affairs to change. Recently pontiffs have been more forceful about these issues, shown by the criticisms of neoliberalism voiced by John Paul II and Benedict XVI, or on the positive side, the visits they both made to Cuba.” Pope Francis had recently been elected, and Frei Betto said that he was hopeful about the pontificate of “Pope Chico Bento”: “I am very hopeful about the pontificate of Pope ‘Chico Bento’ ... because he is Latin American. He is open to social questions and, above all, committed to defending the rights of the poor.” Ricardo German explained to LifeSiteNews that Chico Bento is “a character from a very popular series of comic books for young children in Brazil, ‘Turma da Mônica’. He lives in a rural town and is known for being the stereotypical Brazilian ‘farm kid,’ loving the country life, nature and animals.” “Chico” is also a common nickname for “Francisco,” Portuguese for “Francis.” Frei Bento predicted that the Argentinian pontiff would have to allow debate on controversial matters: “Pope Chico Bento will have to open up debate within the Catholic Church on urgent, burning issues that have long been kept on ice: an end to mandatory celibacy, ordination of women to the priesthood, condom use, biogenetics and the reform of the Roman Curia,” he said. https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/b...e-amazon-synod-its-of-the-greatest-importance
Blizzard, This is another great video from Michael Voris, thank you for posting it. (When communism comes again, everything will happen - I'm referring to your newest post. This is it Blizzard, this is it.) I read a lot of tweets in regard to Pope Francis' most recent statement about priests wearing Saturnos and cassocks. I don't think that the following has been posted yet. I always think of Our Lady of Revelation when I think of the cassock and what she stated in its regard. Pope criticizes young traditional priests’ clothes: Cassock suggests ‘moral problems’ Dorothy Cummings McLean | https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/p...-priests-clothes-cassock-means-moral-problems VATICAN CITY, September 27, 2019 (LifeSiteNews) ― During a visit with African Jesuits in Mozambique, Pope Francis once again accused young priests in traditional dress of harboring “moral problems” and “imbalances.” While answering a question from Fr. Lucas Joaquim Biriate, S.J., the socius of (chief assistant to) the Jesuit provincial in Mozambique and Zimbabwe, the Argentinian pontiff condemned “clericalism” in no uncertain terms. Biriate had asked how priests could “avoid falling into clericalism during formation for priestly ministry.” “Clericalism is a real perversion in the Church,” Francis replied before offering an anecdote about a clerical “friend” he had in Argentina, who once refused to bless some pictures and a rosary proffered by a pious woman. However, the pope’s ire was saved for young priests who wear traditional dress. “Clericalism has a direct consequence in rigidity,” he said, returning to one of the themes of his pontificate. “Have you never seen young priests all stiff in black cassocks and hats in the shape of the planet Saturn on their heads? Behind all the rigid clericalism there are serious problems.” He continued, “I had to intervene recently in three dioceses with problems that expressed themselves in these forms of rigidity that concealed moral problems and imbalances.” It is uncertain to which dioceses the sovereign pontiff was referring. Francis’s remarks, made on September 5, were recently published in the Vatican-vetted magazine La Civiltà Cattolica and its news website Vatican News. Pope Francis has often attacked young traditional priests in his homilies and speeches. In a homily he gave in December 2016 at his hotel home, the Domus Sanctae Marthae, the Argentinian pontiff insinuated that young priests who wear more optional clerical garb are both “rigid” and effeminate: About rigidity and worldliness, it was some time ago that an elderly monsignor of the curia came to me, who works, a normal man, a good man, in love with Jesus — and he told me that he had gone to buy a couple of shirts at Euroclero [the clerical clothing store] and saw a young fellow — he thinks he had not more than 25 years, or a young priest or about to become a priest — before the mirror, with a cape, large, wide, velvet, with a silver chain. He then took the Saturno [wide-brimmed clerical headgear], he put it on and looked himself over. A rigid and worldly one. And that priest — he is wise, that monsignor, very wise — was able to overcome the pain, with a line of healthy humor and added: ‘And it is said that the Church does not allow women priests!’ Thus, does the work that the priest does when he becomes a functionary ends in the ridiculous, always. On September 7, two days after his remarks to Fr. Biriate, Pope Francis warned African bishops against “young, rigid priests.” “Today it is fashionable, I do not know about here, but in other parts of the world it is fashionable, to find rigid people,” the pontiff said. “Young, rigid priests, who want to save with rigidity, perhaps, I don’t know, but they take this attitude of rigidity and sometimes — excuse me — from the museum,” he continued. “They are afraid of everything, they are rigid. Be careful, and know that under any rigidity there are serious problems.” In response to Francis’s September 7 remarks, Monsignor Charles Pope wrote an open letter to the pontiff over social media saying that, although not young, he knows that Francis does not like his kind of priesthood. “I must honestly and painfully say that I am wearied from being scorned and demonized by you,” he concluded.
