Actually, I wish everyone on mog were my neighbors! I’ve never met a one of you, but I feel as though I know your hearts. So happy to share our faith with one another. This is truly a gift that The Mother of God has given to us all.

I hope we meet in heaven...no, if we keep the faith...we WILL meet! That will be so beautiful!

Yes I hope we have a drink and long chat together all of us for several thousand years in a quaint Irsh Pub on the Golden Mountain, beside the Pearly Gates and maybe sing a song and all dance together..and when the several thousand years are up , go back in for another thousand or so.

...then head on for another pub...or two..or three...

The title to this thread is obviously clear. As the world grows deeper in sin, God's restrainer is being lifted and evil is more abound. All signs are clear about that now with the drum beat of world war, coming faster and more deadly than anything every seen. Evil is clearly having its day, as the vetting of God's evil ministers of the faith are being exposed. But it gets more worse by the day. The evil ones are hiding in the shadows and running for cover. All the synods of the world will not put a dent in the evil that lies beneath the cover of deceit, as it is clear from the pope down, only a handful of faithful clergy will speak to these evils and those that are have gone into hiding themselves. It is still the devils moment, but he knows his era is coming to a close soon and he is very aggressive at this time.

 

Fr John a very holy priest here (I expect he does exorcisms but cant swear to it) says he wont be surprised if the Warning comes this year. To me this is huge. My poor brown scapular is so frayed but I keep mending it because he blessed it with a blessing from the old book of blessings. Same with my Rosary.

I heard also that long life granted to certain evil people can be a sign of God's mercy, giving more time to repent. Then again, we've all heard the saying that "the devil looks after his own".

I never realized that both St Augustine and St Thomas Aquinas said that the majority of people wind up in hell. Scary.
It may also be some folk die young to save them from hell

 

Actually today's reading at mass from St Peter implies to me the same thing. In fact the impression I get is that the first Pope thought that few would be saved.

I was walking up the road a few days back when I saw something that caused me to post this thread. At a road junction, looking to the sky I looked up and saw a dark, grim looking cloud that formed into a face, grinning, looking at the city below.
