Breaking: Supreme Court Sides With Trump over Sanctuary Cities in Deportation Case

The court ruled the government has the power to detain people who are facing deportation because of the crimes they committed.

Chief Justice John Roberts joined justices Alito, Thomas, Gorsuch and Kavanaugh in the majority.

President Trump also likes One America News (OAN) and I like it too. First and foremost, I believe that their reporting is based on fact and not their opinion. In addition, there are very few commercials and I can watch an hour of their news and get most top stories without a lot of fluff. My provider is Verizon and they currently include OAN but if your provider does not you can click on the following link https://www.oann.com/ - look for the "We Need Your Help" box on the right side of the screen and get the number of your provider to request that they add OAN. I really think that it is a good idea to do this before we only have news agencies like CNN available to us.

  5. HUGE! Pentagon Finds $12.8 Billion for President Trump’s Border Wall Construction

The US Customs and Border Patrol Agency apprehended 400 illegal aliens in 5 minutes in El Paso, Texas this week.

There is CLEARLY an emergency situation on the southern US border and there has been for years.

Unfortunately, no US president has been willing to fix the problem — until today.

Democrat and Republican lawmakers have failed to fund President Trump’s border wall.
But now there is hope for those Americans who want a safe and secure country.

The Pentagon announced they have $12.8 billion to help fund President Trump’s border wall.

    The Washington Examiner reported:

The Defense Department has identified $12.8 billion in possible funding that it could use to fulfill President Trump’s call for a border wall.

Sen. Jack Reed, D-R.I., released the 20-page spreadsheet on Twitter Monday night.

Trump last month declared a national emergency at the border, and said he wants to use $3.6 billion for border wall projects. The Pentagon’s list said it has found possible funding sources that are “in excess of the amount needed.”

But it’s not clear which projects the Defense Department will draw from. Some states that have been allocated big chunks of money that haven’t been spent could see a hit.

California, for example, was identified as having more than $700 million in unused Army and Navy military construction that could be used. Hawaii has more than $400 million that could be used.

More than $200 million in similar funding allocated for Hawaii, Maine, New York, North Carolina, Guam, Germany, Guam, and Guantanamo Bay Cuba are also on the list.

Senior Ukrainian official says he's opened probe into US election interference

Ukrainian Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko told Hill.TV’s John Solomon in an interview aired on Wednesday that he has opened a probe into alleged attempts by Ukrainians to interfere in the United States' 2016 presidential election.

“Today we will launch a criminal investigation about this and we will give legal assessment of this information,” Lutsenko said last week.

Lutsenko is probing a claim from a member of the Ukrainian parliament that the director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU), Artem Sytnyk, attempted to the benefit of the 2016 U.S. presidential election on behalf of Hillary Clinton.

The Latest: Israel PM hails Trump’s Golan ‘miracle’

    March 21, 2019 | https://apnews.com/c5531954b0124ad299b95c40f9dcf9d1

JERUSALEM (AP) — The Latest on the United States and Israel (all times local):

    8:15 p.m.

Israel’s prime minister has praised President Donald Trump’s recognition of its control over the Golan Heights as a holiday “miracle.”

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says Trump’s declaration is of “equal historical importance” to his recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and his withdrawal from the international nuclear deal with Iran.

The announcement came as Israel was celebrating the holiday of Purim, which marks the Jewish victory over a Persian tyrant. Netanyahu noted that modern Iran is trying to use Syria as a “platform” against Israel and called Trump’s announcement a new “miracle of Purim.”

At a press conference Thursday with the visiting Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Netanyahu said: “The message that President Trump has given the world is that America stands by Israel.”

    ___

    7:25 p.m.

Israel’s leader has thanked President Donald Trump for “boldly” recognizing Israel’s control over the Golan Heights.

Israel captured the Golan, a strategic plateau overlooking northern Israel, from Syria in the 1967 Mideast war and annexed the area in 1981.

The international community considers the Golan to be occupied territory, and Syria has demanded its return as a condition for any future peace agreement.

After an eight-year civil war, peace talks with Israel are unlikely anytime soon. Throughout the war, Israel has carried out scores of airstrikes in Syria to prevent Iran from establishing a permanent military presence there.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu tweeted: “At a time when Iran seeks to use Syria as a platform to destroy Israel, President Trump boldly recognizes Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights.” He added: “Thank you President Trump!”

    ___

    7 p.m.

President Donald Trump says that it’s time to recognize Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights.

In a tweet Thursday, Trump said that after 52 years, it’s important for the United States for fully recognize Israel’s control over what he says is an area of “critical strategic and security importance to Israel” and stability in the region.

Trump’s tweet came as Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was in Jerusalem. Reporters asked Pompeo about the issue, but he declined to answer.

The Israeli prime minister has accused Iran of attempting to set up a terrorist network to target Israel from the Golan Heights, which Israel captured from Syria in 1967. He has used the incident to repeat his goal of international recognition for Israel’s claim on the area.

    __

    2 p.m.

U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is to make an unprecedented visit to Jerusalem’s Western Wall with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the highest-level American official to tour the holy site with Israel’s leader.

Pompeo says he thinks it’s important and symbolic to visit the wall with the Israeli leader Thursday as a show of U.S. support for Israel.

Senior U.S. officials, including President Donald Trump and numerous predecessors, have visited the wall in the past but never with an Israeli leader.

Since Israel captured east Jerusalem and the Old City in 1967, U.S. officials have avoided appearances at the Western Wall with Israeli leaders to avoid the appearance of recognizing Israel’s control over the city’s most sensitive holy sites. But that policy has been upended by the Trump administration.

    Meuler report delivered.

    https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/spe...1147281&cid=clicksource_4380645_null_hero_hed

Special counsel Robert Mueller's much-anticipated report – the product of nearly two years of investigation – will not include any further indictments, according to a senior Department of Justice official.

The report was handed to the Justice Department for Attorney General Bill Barr’s review, and Congress has been notified of the transfer late Friday afternoon, according to a Justice Department spokeswoman.

According to federal regulations, the special counsel's final report should be "a confidential report explaining the prosecution or declination decisions reached by the Special Counsel."

After reviewing Mueller's report, Barr will then send what he has described as his own "report" on the Mueller investigation to the top Democrats and Republicans on the House and Senate judiciary committees. Barr has promised to be as transparent as possible, but it's unclear how extensive or detailed Barr's own "report" to Congress will be.

In a letter to the leaders of the House and Senate Judiciary committees, Barr wrote that he is reviewing the report and anticipates that he "may be in a position to advise you of the Special Counsel's principal conclusions as soon as this weekend." He continued that, separately, he intends to "consult with Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and Special Counsel Mueller to determine what other information from the report can be released to Congress and the public consistent with the law."

Sources who have spoken to President Donald Trump told ABC News that his initial reaction to Friday’s news was that he's “glad it’s over."

"The next steps are up to Attorney General Barr, and we look forward to the process taking its course. The White House has not received or been briefed on the Special Counsel’s report," White House press secretary Sarah Sanders tweeted on Friday afternoon.

Rudy Giuliani and Jay Sekulow, counselors to the president also said in a statement that they are "pleased" the report was delivered.

Mueller and his team investigated how far the Kremlin went to interfere in the 2016 presidential election, including trying to determine whether any Americans may have helped those efforts.

(MORE: Trump remains in the dark on Mueller report as White House prepares to respond)
At the heart of Mueller’s probe were two Russian operations: the spread of disinformation on social media, and the release of thousands of sensitive emails stolen by hackers from the Democratic National Committee and other Democratic targets.

Mueller’s team has charged 25 Russian nationals and three foreign companies for their alleged role in those operations.

In appointing a special counsel to investigate, however, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein also directed Mueller to look into “allegations” of possible “coordination” between Russian operatives and associates of President Donald Trump.

Over and over again, Trump and his Republican allies have derided the investigation as a “witch hunt.” But Rosenstein, FBI Director Chris Wray and now-attorney general William Barr have each explicitly disputed that description.

(MORE: The Russia probe: A timeline from Moscow to Mueller)
“We follow the rule of law,” Rosenstein insisted last year. “[And] when we confront foreign interference in American elections, it’s important for us to avoid thinking politically as Republicans or Democrats and instead to think patriotically as Americans.”

While looking into allegations of “coordination” with Trump’s 2016 campaign, Mueller did find that a campaign adviser knew early on from a Russian operative that the Kremlin had compiled “dirt” on Hillary Clinton, and recent court filings said Trump’s campaign repeatedly tried to elicit information about upcoming releases of Clinton-related documents stolen from the DNC and others.

In court filings, Mueller also documented how Trump’s personal business sought real estate deals in Moscow even after Trump became the Republican nominee for president, and documented how – while the Obama administration was still in the White House – senior members of Trump’s national security team tried to influence official actions taken by Russia.

According to federal prosecutors, Mueller also found that Trump’s associates routinely lied to them about all of it.

At least four Trump associates, including Trump’s former national security adviser Michael Flynn, have pleaded guilty to lying to federal agents during the Russia-related investigation.

Another Trump associate, the president’s former attorney Michael Cohen, has pleaded guilty to lying to Congress about Trump’s business dealings in Moscow. And former Trump adviser Roger Stone has been charged with lying to Congress about his alleged role in tracking information stolen from Democrats during the 2016 campaign.

(MORE:Letter from deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein offers potential road map to special counsel Robert Mueller's probe)
“The investigation has identified 199 different criminal acts,” Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, D-New York, noted during a recent House hearing. “So let’s be clear: The investigation into Russia’s attack on our democracy is not a witch hunt, it’s not a fishing expedition, it’s not a hoax, it’s not a lynch mob. It’s a national security imperative.”

Mueller’s investigation grew out of a probe the FBI launched in late July 2016.

By then, the FBI was already scrutinizing Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort’s business dealings with pro-Russian officials in Ukraine – dealings that have since landed Manafort in jail. And the FBI was keeping tabs on Trump adviser Carter Page, who was previously targeted for recruitment by Russian spies and had raised eyebrows with a trip to Moscow in mid-July 2016.

But claims by Trump adviser George Papadopoulos – that the Russians were touting “dirt” on Clinton – really set off alarms inside the FBI.

“If any Americans were part of helping the Russians [attack] us, that is a very big deal,” James Comey, who was FBI director at the time, later told lawmakers.

Several weeks after formally launching the Russia probe, counterintelligence agents leading the investigation in Washington received a so-called “dossier,” which had been compiled at the behest of Democrats and detailed uncorroborated allegations of coordination between Trump’s campaign and the Kremlin.

Some of the allegations involved Page, who was already on the FBI’s radar, so agents began secretly intercepting his communications. Page has never been charged with any crimes.

The wide-ranging investigation continued even after Trump took office. After Jeff Sessions became attorney general, he recused himself from oversight of the FBI’s Russia-related probe, citing his previous advocacy for Trump on the campaign trail.

Rosenstein subsequently assumed oversight of the investigation.

And then Trump shocked the federal law enforcement community: He fired Comey.

The move prompted Rosenstein to appoint Mueller to take over the whole matter, including a review of whether Comey's firing and other actions meant Trump improperly tried to obstruct the probe.

Comey later alleged that in a private meeting with Trump before his removal, the president directed Comey to “let [Flynn] go.”

Mueller has not released any evidence suggesting Trump committed a crime related to Russian efforts.

However, Mueller did uncover evidence of other possible crimes and referred those cases to other federal prosecutors.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Manhattan ended up tying Trump to federal campaign violations, alleging that – in the midst of the 2016 presidential campaign – Trump personally directed Cohen to silence two woman claiming affairs with Trump by making illegal payments to them.

Cohen has pleaded guilty for his role in the matter, but no other charges have been filed.

It's too bad that we had to spend millions finding out what was already evident. But the dog and pony show continues. On to the next scandal to pin Trump with. Honestly, what a bunch of intolerant babies this society has become. The cry of the media and celebrities and politicians, etc "I don't like Trump" so lets indict, impeach, belittle, impede and literally invent stuff up about to stop him from being president.

Like him or not, he is a duly elected president. Period the end. There is another election in 2 years. Vote for someone else and shut the heck up!!!! Like him or not this president is a far cry better than #44 who sold us out to the globalists. But even if someone doesn't agree, just bite the bullet and let him do his job. The utter ridiculousness that was spent trying to make it look like this president colluded with Russia is mind boggling. If and when the truth comes out "who" actually did collude with Russia, will anyone believe it????

So very tired of all the division and chaos that surrounds us daily now in the world.

Russian Troops, Advisers Arrive in Venezuela – Reports

Russia sent two planes with dozens of soldiers and military advisers to Venezuela's capital of Caracas over the weekend amid growing tensions in the South American country, an anonymous Venezuelan official has said.

Venezuela's political crisis escalated on Sunday when opposition leader Juan Guaido, who declared himself interim president in January, called on his supporters to prepare to take power in the country. Moscow, which backs President Nicolas Maduro's government, has previously said it would not allow a U.S.-backed color revolution in the country.

Russian military officials arrived in Caracas to discuss strategy, equipment maintenance and training, an unnamed Venezuelan official told The Associated Press Monday.

The Chief of Staff of Russia’s Ground Forces Vasily Tonkoshkurov, nearly 100 troops and 35 metric tons of equipment were on board the planes, media reports said.

The flights also carried officials who arrived to "exchange consultations," the state-funded Sputnik news agency reported, quoting an unnamed source at the Russian Embassy.

"Russia has various contracts that are in the process of being fulfilled, contracts of a technical military character," Sputnik cited the source as saying.

Flight-tracking data showed that an Ilyushin IL-62 passenger jet and an Antonov AN-124 military cargo plane left from Russia for Caracas on Friday.

The planes landed three months after the two nations held military exercises in Venezuela that President Nicolas Maduro called a sign of strengthening relations, but which Washington criticized as Russian encroachment in the region.

High-level U.S.-Russian talks on how to defuse Venezuela's crisis ended early last week with the two sides still at odds over the legitimacy of Maduro.

Lindsey Graham will probe alleged FISA abuses at FBI, calls on Barr to appoint new special counsel
    By Brooke Singman | March 25, 2019 | https://www.foxnews.com/politics/li...-calls-on-barr-to-appoint-new-special-counsel
Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham said Monday that he will probe alleged abuses of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) at the start of the Russia investigation, while calling on Attorney General Bill Barr to appoint a new special counsel to investigate the “other side of the story.”

Graham, R-S.C., made the comments during a press conference on Capitol Hill following the release of the findings in the Robert Mueller investigation, which did not uncover evidence of a Trump-Russia conspiracy in 2016. Graham and other Trump allies cited the findings to renew scrutiny of the probe's origins at the FBI. The chairman said he'll look into any alleged misconduct related to the Russia investigation on the part of the Justice Department, the FBI and the Democrats, but added that due to “the emotional nature of this” he believes a new appointment is necessary.

GRAHAM SENDS OMINOUS TWEET TO COMEY: SEE YOU SOON

“I’d like to find somebody, like a Mr. Mueller, that can look into what happened with the FISA warrants, the counterintelligence investigation. Am I right to be concerned? It seems pretty bad on its face—but there are some people that are never going to accept the Mueller report, but by any reasonable standard, Mueller thoroughly investigated the Trump campaign. You cannot say that about the other side of the story,” Graham told reporters Monday.

“I hope Mr. Barr will appoint somebody outside the current system to look into these allegations, somebody we all trust, and let them do what Mueller did,” he continued, adding that he has been calling for the appointment of a second special counsel since 2017 to investigate “whether or not a counterintelligence investigation was opened as a back door to spy on the Trump campaign.”

“A counterintelligence investigation is designed to protect the entity being targeted by a foreign power…I still am at a loss as to why nobody went to President Trump to tell him,” Graham said Monday.

Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz is currently investigating any alleged misconduct related to FISA warrants delivered from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC). The Justice Department and FBI obtained warrants in 2016 to surveil Trump adviser Carter Page. The status of the investigation, or a timeline of when the review will be complete, is unclear.

Meanwhile, Graham said the basis of his panel’s “deep dive” into alleged FISA abuses would be the unverified anti-Trump dossier and what role the document played, questioning whether it was “supplemental or outcome determinative.”

BULK OF MUELLER CASES AGAINST TRUMP ASSOCIATES BASED ON FALSE STATEMENTS

“Was it a ruse to get into the Trump campaign?” Graham asked Monday. “I don’t know, but I’m going to try to find out.”

He added: “I have been talking since 2017 about the other side of the story. Nobody much appears to care, but I hope you will find some interest now.”

Graham said he wants answers on how much money the Democrats paid research firm Fusion GPS to commission the dossier, or if the contents of the dossier have been verified.

Graham’s announcement comes after the attorney general released a summary of Mueller’s findings, revealing that the special counsel found no evidence of collusion between members of, or anyone associated with, the Trump campaign and Russia during the 2016 presidential election.

Graham vowed to call Barr to testify on the Mueller report, but suggested he could also call on Justice Department official Bruce Ohr and former FBI Director James Comey to appear before his committee.

This comes after Graham responded to a tweet from Comey showing him in the woods with the text, “So many questions.” Graham shot back: “Could not agree more. See you soon.”

  19. Xavier

Xavier "In the end, My Immaculate Heart will Triumph."

As we just celebrated the Word become Flesh in the womb of His Virgin Mother, we remembered the Lord God becoming an Unborn Child in our Mother Mary.

There is good news that, thanks to a new Supreme Court and possibility of challenge of Roe v Wade, the governor of Mississipi has signed a law banning abortions such that "if a heartbeat is detected, the infant is protected". "Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant signed a “heartbeat bill” Thursday that will make abortion illegal in the state after a fetal heartbeat is detected." https://www.dailysignal.com/2019/03/22/mississippi-bans-abortions-after-fetal-heartbeat-detected/

And that is not all! Even more amazing is that as many as 10 other states appear to have done the same. According to a pro-death site, "Just this year, lawmakers in 11 states have introduced heartbeat bills, including Texas, Florida, Georgia, Ohio, and Mississippi, as noted by the Washington Post."

So, there's much to celebrate and continue to pray for, not least the cause of life! The next prayer goal is a supreme court victory now in the next stage. Please keep praying and working for all life to be protected. Above all, the Rosary is a powerful weapon we can use. The Rosary of the Unborn is a great weapon as well.
