As Sister Lucy told us. Jesus is a Good Son and He will not permit His Mother to be mocked. Especially since the Rosary is such a great gift to us in this time. Now they are mocking Our Lady and her Rosary. Justice cannot be far off!
Exorcists say that even the demons who speak often contemptuously of Our Lord will say nothing against Our Lady. Ever.
I just finished my morning rosary and read this. Like djm I keep thinking nothing will surprise me with these guys but I am wrong yet again. Notice the name of the site selling these? contemplativerebellion.com? lol How long before we are called fascists for refusing to acknowledge the gaia beads and sent to re-education camps?
Scandalous. An insult to our Blessed Mother. He is on the road to perdition and bringing many souls with him.
And golly gee mom, 20% of the proceeds go to that wonderful head nun on the bus! Simone Campbell, SSS - NETWORK Lobby
Church Militant today has a story about a married deacon being sexually assaulted by his parish priest while they were both pilgrims in Rome. There is a fuller, and more shocking version of the Deacon's accusations on 'The Stumbling Block' blog: https://www.theday.com/local-news/2...LZ9lmc79O_Yi2QWMe18qzE1CFVQpvYV76a11ZkM3ZNixM I thought that I was numb to new accusations but I find that I am not. The accused priest is still functioning as pastor in a parish (though a different one) and the poor deacon, who asked to be re-assigned, was told by his new diocese that his file was marked with the fact that he was 'unable to get along with his pastor' or some such rubbish. And then I came across this: I have friends who regard the whole sexual misconduct thing as being 'dealt with' by a caring Pope and his faithful staff of saintly bureaucrats and will hear nothing different. So, I suppose that it's important for realists to read these sickening things and to understand that the homosexual network is still alive and well and being protected and that it may be operating in a parish near you. These men obviously see the priesthood merely as presenting opportunities for sex, to be the centre of attention and to have access to free housing, free car, free medical care, paid for travel around the world and a decent pension and possibly promotion to positions presenting even better sexual and financial opportunities. I am heartsick when I think of the good and faithful priests that I knew in past years and how hurt, confused and appalled they would be if they were still alive. It all happened behind our backs over decades and continues comparatively undisturbed. In the light of Francis' recently reported remarks about sexually active priests, if I lived in the US anywhere near this priest's parish I would stand with a banner saying 'Pope Francis says that you should GO'.
What a great article from Dr. Peter K. I notice that the concept of the Holy Sacrifice is retained. Thank God. Thank you for posting.
Thanks Carol. I agree with HH. This is a great article. The bill of sale for the Novus Ordo reads very differently than what we found in the shopping bag when we got home from the store. Essentially Vatican II said the Mass should stay the same with possibly the readings and the general intercessions read in the vernacular. That is what all of the Bishops signed their names to! They didn't sign on to folk music and throwing away the Latin Mass for something modern. Something went very, very wrong after VII. The door was opened to all of this crazy garbage that is happening in the Church now. Thank Heaven people are finally waking up and realizing what has happened in the past 50 years.
I think that Fr. Martin does these things to draw attention to himself. If he weren't controversial, he wouldn't keep his quarter of a million followers, and he has to appear to be popular to make it look like he is attracting people to the Church. How many of those "followers" would you reckon are Catholic? Given that he is an advocate for the Lavender brigade's push to bully the Catholic Church into changing perennial teaching on sodomy, possibly only a fraction of those followers are Catholic. Given the type of "Catholicism" he promotes, probably only a fraction of those "Catholics" see the inside of a church other than at funerals and maybe Christmas if there's a performance by an alphabet soup choir. That would leave a miniscule number of followers who accept all Church teaching, and of them an even tinier number who pray the Rosary. So, why would Fr. Martin bother promoting such an offensive string of beads? He said he wasn't paid for the promotion, which may well be true. The abortion and lavender lobbies have unlimited funds to buy plenty of beads, and Sr. Nun on the Bus gets part of the proceeds. Someone has to be funding her, and she isn't exactly a hero to faithful Catholics.
Fr Martin in and off himself worries me far, far less than the fact he is allowed to do what he does unsanctioned. He could not get away with what he does unless he had backings at a very, very high level in Church indeed. Very, very pwoerful friends indeed. It is as if I went into a house and a dog kept biting me. After a while of the dogs keeping biting me I would realise it was the owner of the dog, rather than the dog itself that was the problem. So it is the woner I would kick rather than the dog itself. So who is the owner(s) of Fr Martin?
Padraig, I like your comment's specific timing! 3:33 A.M. Don't know if this has already been mentioned....I don't get back to this thread that often and it gets loaded up pretty quickly.....looks like Raymond has a regular beat on FOX now via Laura Ingraham as well....but in this article perhaps a wee bit of an exaggeration when it comes to the particular comparison used: Cardinal Napier denounces Raymond Arroyo The cardinal compared the World Over host to 'Ian Paisley and his ilk' Cardinal Wilfrid Napier has denounced Catholic broadcaster Raymond Arroyo, comparing him to Ulster Protestant leader Ian Paisley. In a tweet, the cardinal said Arroyo’s show The World Over was like a “throwback to the 1960’s & 70’s” when radical Protestants “fulminated against [the] Catholic Faith in general, & [the] Pope in particular!” https://catholicherald.co.uk/news/2018/12/03/cardinal-napier-denounces-raymond-arroyo/ .....Raymond appeared to answer the Cardinal in this tweet quoting Mother Angelica: “It’s your obligation to speak the truth, and everyone can either take it or leave it. But truth must be in us. We live in such a poverty of truth today.” - Mother Angelica (to me many years ago.)
I read something Archbishop Fulton Sheen said in a talk to religious not long before he died. He said that in terms of Penance that there was no need to wear hair shirts; that simply being alive nowadays was hair shirt enough. When I look at the present state of the Church and the World I see exactly what he means. The State of of the Church is the hair shirt of all hair shirts at the moment . Who would ever have expected to witness these things in our own life time?
Couldn't help but think while watching the procession now of all the clergy before HW Bush's casket at his funeral that such an image surely demonstrates the splintered (in more ways than one these days) Body of Christ.
I am not watching the funeral. May God be merciful to his soul but he supported and stood for very evil ideas and organizations. I won't quote the rumors because I do not know if they are proved true but I do know he was NWO all the way and a highly placed Mason.
Cardinal Burke looks very tired to me Notice that at the 8:04 mark he refers to these days as "in these last times"? I really love listening to him, he is so plain spoken and easy to understand. I am going to pray for him each day.
I remember under the reign of Pope Benedict ; Cardinal Burke was second in charge. When he spoke it was like hearing Moses coming down from Mount Sinai. For me it is still like Moses coming down from the Mount. But now Pope Francis has put in the Ecclesial equivalent of Chaplain to a Boy Scout's group in the little island of Malta. A place were the three Bishops will be intensely hostile to him and keeping an eye as guards on his goings on. It is so wrong a man his age should have to serve as Guard dog for the Church. Poor man should be in his slippers taking it easy. But who else is there do it? God bless and reward this proud American defender of the Faith. May he be raised to the Altars of the Church some day as a reward and inspiration to us all. I know it's no good feeling angry, but when I look at how this wonderful guy has been treated, I just can;t help feeling sickened.
