Have any of you read Fast Lane to Heaven by Ned Dougherty? I have only read excerpts about his life and an not sure about him. He has converted.

You know I did read it and was very excited about it but it was like the 'big promise'...it never happened! I expected with such a grand event as NDE he would have flown back to the Church and the Holy Eucharist and he never did. Or if that was in fact the case it didn't make it into his book...which would make me even more suspect.

He was on a show called Lesante--and has a website End times Daily. Says he is a Catholic but can't find out much about personal life. Thanks for responding.

I felt the same. As a retired Registered Nurse, I would say that the 'near death experience' was not an medically authentic. Another worry was that in his book Fast Lane to Heaven, he referres to a 'lady of light' and although he claims devotion to Our Lady, this lady of light seems to be a bit of a vague character. Another thing which set the alarm bells ringing is that I don't think I came across a single reference to Jesus. Forgive me if I am wrong on this one, but all in all I felt that this is not authentic and that the messages are too overtly political
