Economic collapse will come but i find it difficult to estimate how long they keep the system alive.
Could be the origin or consequence of war, both are possible. If the interest rates are increased, it will be ready.
I think it seems neither Putin nor Trump wants a WWIII, both try within its possibilities to defuse the situation. But especially Trump faces a lot of headwinds.

    Lies, lies, lies!

Given the historical LIES that brought many ordinary people who live here in the West to support false flag wars in Libya and Iraq - surely -SURELY - we citizens would not again blindly trust our elites / leaders in more campaigns of violence.

Surely we are entitled to be sceptical?????!?

Remember, these same elites / leaders sell arms to the Saudis; who indiscriminately butcher the innocents of Yemen (and they sell also to other countries with similar records of crimes against humanity).

    Condemnation of the Saudis?
    No chance!
    Air strikes against the Saudis?
    No chance!

And what of the humanitarian crimes in Congo?! Not a mention of those...

So please tell me, anyone - ANYONE, please tell me the difference?
    I call this hypocrisy.

AND I CHALLENGE ANYONE ON THIS SITE TO TELL ME OTHERWISE? (but to tell me the difference without name-calling or putting me down just because I dont believe our elites/leaders, nor follow them blindly).

    Brian,
It could all be perpetrated by the deep state or by some of our enemies or a combination of both. Our government certainly ends up chasing it's tail trying to figure these things out.

Here are a few more interesting paragraphs from an article that I posted
#667 which could definitely have an adverse effect on our economy. I think you are suggesting something more direct which is quite possible also,

"During the call, military officials said that it was imperative to take steps to protect American Navy destroyers from Russian counterattacks. But a potential online strike loomed as a possibility — and a way for Russia and Iran to sidestep a direct confrontation with the United States military.

Just weeks ago, the Department of Homeland Security
identified Russia as the source of malware “implants” in the American electric grid and released samples of code to utilities to help them clean out their systems. The warning accused Russia of mounting a series of intrusions against American and European nuclear power plants and water and electric systems, in what analysts interpreted as a move to test Moscow’s capacity.

Iran hit American banks with a
major denial of service attack nearly six years ago, and tried — unsuccessfully — to manipulate a dam in Westchester County, N.Y. Iran is among the most sophisticated midsize powers in using cyberweapons, skills that the country has invested in heavily since the United States and Israel conducted a crippling online attack on its nuclear enrichment sites.

As he prepared the military for retaliation, Mr. Mattis also warned of a potential propaganda counterattack by Syria, Russia and Iran after a Western strike..."

  6. Um, the reference was originally to the 3 specifically targeted and successful take outs of chemical weapon centers of pipeline production. Maybe people want such carnage by the known history of Assad to continue with his habit of using them against his people, but such success at least involves delay of those weapons in production. Those who suffer, on the ground there, and who thanked Trump for doing such...even symbolically pointing the world to the war crime.....wish such would continue. They're worried about their own surroundings. If you are looking for a Captain Marvel character type to solve all horrors for the whole world then create a larger than this much smaller portion for discussion.

When making this statement, I asked that no one call me names nor insult me. I suppose that was too much for some people...
    Sarcasm. Good old sarcasm.

Im not looking for captain marvel - tho it could be added I got me captain america instead!!

But why Syria, Earth to Angels???
Why not bomb Saudi; why not bomb legitimate targets in the Congo for human rights breaches?

Coyld it just perhaps - JUST PERHAPS - be ideological?

Your comments fail to shed any light on why the elites chose to bomb Syria over other places were humanitarian war crimes are rife.

And given these elites have previous, when it comes to dismembering innocent countries... dont you see why people might question the authenticity of their actions in this instance.

They lied before, and plunged countries - babies, mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, grandmothers, grandfathers into Armageddon!
    ARMAGEDDON!!!!!

Shouldnt people question these actions when theyre at it again???????????

    Where will this lead us?

This time it could be a world war?

There is a fierce battle whether the USA and it’s proxies in the Middle East will provide energy to the European market, or whether Russia will prevail. Dig a bit and you’ll realize that’s ALL this is about.

Could be some interesting news coming soon...

    https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2018...oxin-used-skripal-poisoning-usuk-produced-not

Somebody has some explaining to do... or did the Syrian airstrikes just 'distract' the citizenry from the reality surrounding the Skripal poisoning.

Remember how we were told my the politicians (not the scientists) that a deadly Novichok nerve agent - produced by Russia - was used in the attempted assassination of the Skripals? Remember the 50 questions (here and here) we had surrounding the 'facts' as Theresa May had laid them out? Ever wonder why, given how utterly deadly we were told this chemical was, the Skripals wondered around for a few hours after being 'infected' and then days later, survived with no chronic damage?

Well those doubts may well have just been answered as according to the independent Swiss state Spiez lab, the substance used on Sergei Skripal was an agent called BZ, which was never produced in Russia, but was in service in the US, UK, and other NATO states.

RT reports that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said, citing the results of the examination conducted by a Swiss chemical lab that worked with the samples that London handed over to the Organisation for the Prohibition of the Chemical Weapons (OPCW), that Sergei Skripal, a former Russian double agent, and his daughter Yulia were poisoned with an incapacitating toxin known as 3-Quinuclidinyl benzilate or BZ.

The Swiss center sent the results to the OPCW.

However, the UN chemical watchdog limited itself only to confirming the formula of the substance used to poison the Skripals in its final report without mentioning anything about the other facts presented in the Swiss document, the Russian foreign minister added.

He went on to say that Moscow would ask the OPCW about its decision to not include any other information provided by the Swiss in its report.

On a side note, the Swiss lab is also an internationally recognized center of excellence in the field of the nuclear, biological, and chemical protection and is one of the five centers permanently authorized by the OPCW.

The Russian foreign minister said that London refused to answer dozens of “very specific” questions asked by Moscow about the Salisbury case, as well as to provide any substantial evidence that could shed light on the incident.

Instead, the UK accused Russia of failing to answer its own questions, he said, adding that, in fact, London did not ask any questions but wanted Moscow to admit that it was responsible for the delivery of the chemical agent to the UK.

But hey, who cares about any of that? Diplomats have been sent home, Putin has been anointed Hitler, and besides, what about those missiles in Syria?

This is definitely the most important reason, at least for the big players...South Pars/North Dome etc...Add a little bit of geo-strategy and you are at the origin of most conflicts in ME.
The rivalry between Shiites and Sunnis respectively Islamic fundamentalists is being used to implement one's plans. There is a long history of this.
But our politicans call it a fight for democracy and human rights etc...

...am I getting old? I can't remember when I heard the word "Peace". What's happening in this strange world. Thinks don't make sense anymore. Blaming doesn't bring peace, bombing Syria doesn't bring peace, selling weapons to Saudi Arabia doesn't bring peace. Poor people of Syria, poor people of Yemen.

It could also be related to the escalating tensions between Israel and Iran, the whole incident may have been to prepare for what they believe is going to happen next. We all know that at some point it gets really bad in the Middle East in terms of a full-on war. The Iran nuclear deal is hanging in the balance and a decision is expected to be made in May. In addition, May 14th is the 70th anniversary of Israel and May 13th we know is the 101st anniversary of Our Lady of Fatima and 101 we know is significant to the apparitions at Akita. Of course, there is always the oil, the money, the power, etc. involved but certain groups we know would like to see other groups completely annihilated - horrible.

Yes. Course it is, Brian. Youre 100% right (and maybe there's even a bit of influence from old nick himself, who prolly wants a war now that his time is growing short).
My issue is the lies and deceit and pretense by which they go about all this.

...these elites are merely PRETENDING its all about justice and morals and whatever other nonsense they bang out.

This is done via the media, who push and push the elites agenda. Its all a pack of lies.

But there are people that still believe the nonsense the elites pedel. Human right's abuses and humanitarian concerns and our protection ha! Theyre having a laugh...

They have an ideological agenda. Period.

What happens when they decide priests and bishops and maybe even all catholics are the enemy?

We'll be on the 6 o'clock news folks. And bcoz we're public enemy number 1, we'll prolly be on the 7,8,9,10,11,12 and round the clock news too! Till they decide to take us out with air strikes on legitimate targets; our churches and sunday mass!

I agree, Carol, that there are multiple interests being served. Apart from the oil and Iran/Saudi hostilities, there appears to be a tussle for the leadership of Sunni Islam. Being custodians of Mecca along with controlling vast wealth, the Saudis have a lot of influence but I'm not so sure that they are well liked within Sunni Islam. While all sides see Israel as their enemy, individual countries, primarily Saudi, work with Israel when it suits them. It's in Israel's interests for the Muslims to be fighting among themselves, but I'm not so sure that it would suit Israel for Iran to be totally defeated. Defeated, yes, but not completely destroyed. A Caliph-led Sunni Islam with Israel in its sights would be a nightmare, not just for Israel but possibly for the entire world. Doesn't it suit Israel better to have ongoing small scale battles between opposing strands of Islam, ensuring that no single country will emerge as a leader?

I agree. First, people of faith need to wise up to the ways of the world. A person of real faith is willing to die for it and to defend his right to practice it. Atheists know that. They stir up fear, pull the right strings, supply the weapons, sit back and blame "religious nutcases" for all the trouble in the world. Meanwhile, they design, build and sell ever more destructive weapons.

Many Christians are waking up to that reality. Unfortunately, I'm not sure that vengeance is sinful in Islam and with over a billion Muslims spread throughout the world the arms manufacturers won't be going bankrupt any time soon.
