WEDDING RINGS The girls would have their fingers full of wedding rings, and while in ecstasy they'd raise up their hands and ask the Virgin to kiss them. After this they would return the rings to their owners without making any mistakes and without seeing who they were giving them to as their heads were always tilted backwards and their eyes fixed on the apparition above them.
GARABANDAL CONFERENCE IN TORONTO 11-9-96 WITH JOEY LOMANGINO AND JACINTA MOYNIHAN. I thought it would be a wonderful treat for those of you who have never heard Joey speak about his life, accident, conversion, meeting Padre Pio, trips to Garabandal, and the Warning and Miracle. I was blessed to accompany Joey and Marilyn Lomangino to Toronto for this Garabandal conference , organized by Dr. Michael Rozeluk and his wife Helen, who run the Canadian Garabandal site ( ourlady.ca ) At about the 51:25 mark of this home made video, and the end of Joey’s talk, you can see people lined up to meet Jacinta and venerate the crucifix our Blessed Mother kissed. While having lunch with Conchita one day , it was turning out to be a special day of her imparting spiritual wisdom to me, so I started to quickly write down notes on napkins of what was said,here is that day. LUNCH WITH CONCHITA . September 29, 2012 I had the extraordinary blessing today of having a long lunch with Conchita, and learning some invaluable life lessons. The first was, I talked to her in general terms about the Warning ( because so many people are concerned and worried about it, I never discuss dates ). Her advice was amazingly simple and profound ! She said " Have faith and do not worry. If you have faith, you have everything ! " , Pray and don’t worry “. Her concise advice demonstrates how to live a simple happy life. God bless her and her example to us. Lunch lesson#2. We were discussing how so many people are going to psychiatrists, or take drugs or drink to fight lonliness, and she said " Do people realize how lucky they are, that there are churches everywhere, where God is waiting to talk to them ? " Brilliant ! Lunch lesson#3. We talked about how the world's perception of happiness is linked to consumerism. Here is her idea of "happiness". She said (I'm paraphrasing) If you seek money, money is not happiness, if you seek health, it is not happiness, if you seek Heaven, Heaven IS Happiness ! Lunch Lesson#4. On the topic of how to pray. We talked about how to "ask" God for help with a particular intention. We tend to " tell him " what we want, instead of realizing he already knows what we want, or really need. We have to learn to submit ourselves to his will, trusting in him and he will provide what we truly need, and what we need to do to draw ourselves closer to him. I know I'm as guilty as the next guy that "thinks I know what’s best for me ". I am still learning how to completely trust God in everything, don't feel bad, I'm a work in progress too,lol. Lunch lesson#5. Suffering . Who wants it ?? You know when you're in the presence of a true holy person when they embrace suffering, almost joyfully. Padre Pio said "if you knew the value of suffering, you'd never give it up ". I listened on how she described the purpose of suffering, and "taking up your cross" has so much spiritual value, we truly don't comprehend it sometimes. We talked about there is so much cancer in the world, and the suffering it brings, and again there was a simple profound thought ,is it possible the illness is allowed by God, and maybe this person will actually benefit from the illness by bringing them closer to God then they would have ever been. Lets face it, when you are really sick ,what is the first thing you think about ,praying to get well ! Her little story was simple, inspiring ,and brilliant. She said (again I’m paraphrasing the long story), There was a sheep herder, who each day would tend to his flock, and each day one of his sheep would run toward the edge of a mountain cliff, and almost fall over. Each day he would pull him back, but the sheep "wanted to run toward the edge of the cliff". Finally the Sheepherder decided to break a leg on the sheep, well knowing this was painful, and would prevent the sheep from walking. Each day though, he would pick up the sheep and carry it on his shoulders as he went out into the field. This allowed the sheep to still be outside, but more importantly the two of them bonded and became closer because the sheep was dependant on the herder. The herder knew that this the right thing to do, even though I’m sure it was not what the sheep wanted, but in the end, he healed, walked again , and the two were closer than ever. I will never look at suffering again the same way. I'll offer it up and ask God to draw me closer to him, for he knows best.

Conchita & HUMILITY For a time, while she was living in Fatima many years ago, she went daily to an older priest’s residence to volunteer as a cleaning lady. As on other occasions, she went there using the name of Maria, in order not to be recognized. However, one day someone recognized her and immediately all the resident priests knew that the woman who swept the floors of their residence was Conchita of Garabandal. From then on, nothing was the same. Conchita told me that when the priests discovered who she was, they changed the way they treated her. She said she was sorry that they had found out who she was because she felt better serving those elderly priests anonymously.
Happy Mercy Sunday Glenn and to all! The Greatest day of the Year in my opinion because as soon as I or anyone today receive Communion at mass, having fulfilled the last requirement of the Feast Of Mercy Novena, are now like a Baptized baby and are free of all sin & punishment due to our sins! (No purgatory) Jesus’ Mercy is unfathomable/incredible and in my opinion this is the greatest gift from Jesus to us EVER other than the Sacraments themselves. Like the Miracle will be and like Father Luís Andreau said when he saw the Miracle-“WHAT JOY.” Peace to all and again, HAPPY DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY TO ALL!

The Girls, no pain while in ecstasy ! The “Commission “ doctors ,in trying to discredit the girls claim of being in the presence of our Lady (while in ecstasy ) , put the girls through a number of seemly torturous tests,yet they were unharmed . For example , when pinching and poking the girls got no reaction, they resorted to sticking them with pins and needles, trying to see if a lighted match would burn them, throwing sand in their eyes ,to try and make them blink or react. Flashing camera bulbs in their eyes to try and make them blink, or trying to pick them up and drop them on their knees, but 2 men couldn’t pick them up. These events only convinced the onlookers and the Doctors. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eyewitness Testimony Many people have seen the girls hit their knees hard when they fall and they have always observed that they show no feeling of pain. I have seen them stay on their knees for over an hour on many occasions without complaining of exhaustion or pain. I have witnessed how they fall on their knees many times, including from one or two stairs high, and they do not show the slightest sign of pain. The most spectacular thing in this sense was when María Dolores was on her knees one night and fell forwards, hitting her neck very hard against the edge of the stairs. It made a very loud noise, and her head resisted; the girl ended up sitting on the floor. An exclamation went through everyone who was there, and there was fear in their faces. The girl laughed once she was sitting on the floor and she continued talking about an object with the vision as she had been doing before the fall. “In those postures, more or less invariable, but always on their knees (except Jacinta who on one or two occasions was as we have described), staying there for an hour and twenty-five minutes. The one who wrote this, although he was almost sitting, needed to change his posture at least twice in this same amount of time. Upon finishing the trance, they prayed the rosary without moving from the place or giving any sign of fatigue. The ground of the road was full of rocks as roads are in mountain villages; with natural rocks, that are well-traveled (that have unequal surfaces that cause the inexperienced to trip). Mari Cruz had a wedge of rock about 5 centimeters wide under her left knee. Towards the end of the apparition, the girls made a visor with their hands, as though they were contemplating something that was becoming brighter and brighter. Fr. Have any prophecies or statements by Mary at Garabandal come true yet ? Yes, there are many prophecies and statements by our Blessed Mother that have come true already. #1.She said "less and less importance is being given to the Eucharist". Mass attendance is dramatically down. If people truly believed in the Eucharist, why would they not attend mass ? Imagine how sad this makes Jesus. #2." Many cardinals, many bishops and many priests are on the road to perdition and are taking many souls with them." - Some are misguided with their own personal agendas, others have hurt children, others have given in to temptation of evil. Others have caused many to leave the church. This is why we must pray for priests. #3. " No World War 3 " There has been none since she predicted this. In my opinion, in WW1 & WW2, the world was equally divided, you were either on one side or the other politically. The Middle East ( which has been fighting since the beginning of time it seems) and other countries, like Korea, seem to be headed there again . It is possible to have multiple large scale wars ,but for different reasons. Obviously, the Middle East war , might not have anything to do with a conflict with N. Korea, China, Russia or the US. It is possible to have seperate wars, but not in the sense of the world equally divided as it was with WW1 & WW2. #4. Padre Pio would see the Miracle. When Conchita found out Padre Pio died in Sept. 1968, she met his close friend, Father Bernardino Cennamo, at Lourdes, and asked him, "How is it that Our Lady told me Padre Pio would see the Miracle and he has died?" Father Cenammo responded, "Padre Pio saw the Miracle before he died. He told me himself." #5. Ban lifted on priests going up to Garabandal. "A bishop will come along who will not believe at first, but will receive a sign and allow priests to go up to Garabandal for the Miracle." — Conchita in a 1962 letter to Fr. Jose Ramon Garcia de la Riva In 1987, Bishop del Val officially lifted restrictions on priests going up to Garabandal and gave the pastor of Garabandal at the time, Father Juan Gonzalez Gomez, authority to allow visiting priests to celebrate Mass in the village church. #6. The predicted appearance of the Communion host on Conchita's tongue. Conchita called this the " Little Miracle". For some time, the girls pleaded with the Blessed Virgin and Saint Michael to perform a miracle to convince those who would not believe. On June 22, 1962, Saint Michael told Conchita, that in response to this request, God would permit the invisible Host to be made visible on her tongue. Conchita announced this “little miracle” fifteen days in advance. On July 19, 1962 at 1:30AM Conchita left her house in ecstasy, turned a corner and dropped to her knees in an adjacent lane. She put out her tongue. Those just inches away affirmed that it was bare. In a startling flash, a brilliant white Host materialized on the girl’s tongue. Alejandro Damians, a businessman from Barcelona with a borrowed movie camera and flashlight illumination, took several frames capturing in black and white contrast this miracle of the Visible Host. Multiple eyewitnesses present that night, standing near Conchita, also testified publicly to the sudden appearance of the Host. #7.The increase of abortions. Among the fulfilled prophecies of Garabandal was one that only came to light with the publication of a German book [Garabandal — Der Zeigefinger Gottes.] on Garabandal in 1992. The author, Albrecht Weber, was in Garabandal on the day after Conchita's last apparition at Garabandal on November 13,1965, and had a long conversation with the visionary. The following excerpt from his book deals with some of what the visionary told him: She [Conchita] spoke quite openly about the developments by which men in the near future would rebel against God. On the day after Our Lady's last appearance at Garabandal, Conchita asked the author, "Can you imagine how somebody could kill children in the womb without thereby killing the mother?" The author spontaneously answered, "No! What gave you that idea, Conchita?""Well, the Blessed Mother spoke about this and she let me know that this will happen with the overflowing of the chalice." [In her second Message of June 18,1965, the Virgin said, "Before, the cup was filling up. Now it is flowing over."]Conchita said this tremblingly without being able to visualize what it really implied. She said further that it disturbed her very much but that she felt ridiculous because she hadn't understood at all how this killing could be effected. The Blessed Virgin had not explained it to her and up until that moment, nobody had been able to make her understand it at all.Conchita would learn soon enough when abortion became legalized, even in her native country. The Blessed Virgin had spoken about this unfortunate practice to the visionary, in terms that had left her stunned. Indeed, at the time, Conchita did not understand "how it was possible to kill a child in his (or hers) mother's womb without killing the mother at the same time . #8. Mary prophesied at Garabandal that one of the remaining popes will have a very short reign. Then, Pope John-Paul I died mysteriously on September 28, 1978 after having reigned for only 33 days. It proved to be the shortest of a pope in over a thousand years and the 10th shortest reign of a pope ever! In time , we will see and understand many more of her predictions come to fruition.

HOLY THURSDAY, APRIL 11, 1963: "AN AMAZING "SENAL" ("SIGN") WILL REMAIN AT THE SITE OF THE PINES, IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE GREAT EVENTS OF THE "D" DAY . . . UNTIL THE END OF TIMES"! On this Holy Thursday, Conchita learned about the future "Senal," the Sign which, right after the events of the "D" day, "will stay at the site of the Pines until the end of times, in the form of a luminous column, a kind of cloud by day and fire by night." This phenomenon will symbolize, through its obvious biblical, ecclesial and eschatological connotations, the presence of God in the midst of His people, so enlightened and guided in its worldly journey towards the "Promised Land." Who then would not see also that such a Sign will doubtless represent for the Jews themselves, at the beginning of this 21st century, as it were, a powerful and astonishing reminder of the Sinai Covenant and of its profound exigences? For "they are beloved (of God), for the sake of their ancestors; for the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable" (Rom 1:28-29). Indeed, in this way, Garabandal will reveal, in a broader prophetic scope, the richness of what we call the "mystery of the Carmel" . . . of which we are still too unaware. That mystery, with its obvious link with the huge figure of the prophet Elijah, so dear to the Jews, obviously refers to the "mystery of the people of Israel" with whom Yahweh had concluded an alliance in the past, but also to the whole People of God, the eschatological Israel." At the very spot where this prodigious "Senal" will emerge, a sanctuary will eventually be built in honor of the Archangel St. Michael, "Protector of the People of God." We may also note that this great "Sign" will necessarily have a profound affinity with the very nature of the Miracle to come. It will not only be visible for everyone, but it will even be possible to photograph and televise, but not touch, such an extraordinary supernatural phenomenon. [From 'Garabandal' Book, page 172]
I remember this well Glenn. Marc was my roommate on this trip. The most astonishing thing I learned from that interview was The Revelation that Mary told Conchita there was life on other planets/outer space. The most poignant memory I have is that both Marc & I felt like apostles listening to Joey speak to a group of pilgrims. We sort of invited ourselves to this mini conference dinner. We couldn’t eat there but we were allowed to listen to Joey speak after dinner. Both Marc & I sat at the top of the stairs listening to Joey speak to about 40 people. Our heads nearly touching the ceiling. I truly felt as we were apostles listening to Jesus. Like I/we were in the “upper room” as in the Bible. Truly an amazing experience. Anyway, though I’d share. I will NEVER forget it. Peace!
A member asked about a rumor that a priest was given "secret"information about the Warning date from Mari Loli. This is NOT TRUE ! (Here's why ) NO SECRETS CAN BE REVEALED I have two sources which confirmed that Conchita & Mari Loli could not reveal the exact dates and other "secrets" they were entrusted with by Mary. I did confirm with one of Conchita’s closest friends that it was impossible for her reveal any secrets, meaning she would not be able to speak them. The other comes from “GARABANDAL JOURNAL” MAGAZINE (MARCH-APRIL 2018 ). On page 14, the testimony of Fr. Manuel Anton, he told the story of how Mari Loli was also unable to reveal a secret. At the end of July 1961,he arrived in Garabandal with two other Priests. Fr. Manuel who was already in Ceferino’s house, interrogated Loli about the apparitions from the beginning. “ What impressed me most while listening to Loli, was her air of absolute serenity; it came from her eyes and was in all her words. Loli told about all her apparitions with the Virgin. She has told them many things: some they could tell the people, but others they couldn’t because “ they were secrets”. The Virgin had told them that they shouldn’t tell anyone until the day arrived. Fr. Manuel wanted to know something about a secret and he tried to make the girl tell him something: “But all that was mind blowing: I was not able to understand a single sentence. It isn’t that she spoke softly or that she deliberately spoke in an unintelligible way; a strange phenomenon happened when she spoke. Until then, she had expressed herself normally and I had understood her perfectly. But in the moment she wanted to tell me “the secret”; it was as if her lips and tongue would not respond to her will. There was nothing more than stammering and a jumble of sounds. I could see how she made an effortto be understood, but there was no way to understand a word. “ Don’t you see”, she said to me finally, speaking clearly, “that the Virgin does not want us to tell these things? “
