Carol, that guy knows less about the Vatican than you or I. He strikes me as a real nutjob. He has weird videos all over YouTube. He and Alex Jones are a pair. The kind of stuff they spout is what I'd expect to hear in a lunatic asylum.

 

Dolours, I only posted it because it belongs with the article that BrianK posted. Leo Zagami is actually the author of the article, he is just repeating what Socci wrote in a more sensational way, imho. I think that we may see more and more and more of this until some clarity is provided by the Vatican. I am remaining hopeful about Saturday's conference and Brian just posted an article on "The Vatican Has Fallen" thread which states that Cardinal Raymond Burke, Bishop Athanasius Schneider, and Cardinal Joseph Zen are among the key speakers and Cardinal Walter Brandmüller will open the conference so this is very good news.

My apologies, Carol. I didn't mean to be so harsh. I think that we Catholics have to be very careful. We know what we want: a faithful Pope and faithful bishops dedicated to ensuring that the Church founded by Christ doesn't lose its salt by watering down the faith to please the spirit of the age. We also know what the likes of Alex Jones wants: the destruction of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church founded by Christ. At this stage, all we can do is pray that Pope Francis will, like Peter, turn around and become that Pope.

I hadn't read that Lifesitenews report. Please God, something good will come from the conference.

I posted that article to illustrate that both the MSM and the alternative media are having a field day with this mess in the Church. It’s going to get much worse before it gets better, and the media is going to sensationalize all of it.

Hi Carol.

I am fond of watching Alex Jones from time to time. I love the way he puffs up and shouts at the top of his voice I find it very amusing.

But I am afraid from what I have seen and heard Alex and his team know as much about the Catholic Church and its inner workings as I know about the Planet Pluto; which is to say as much as I could write on the back of a postage stamp.

From what I do know of their attitude, well I suspect it would be ..well.. not the friendliest.

But yes this brings us to Leo Zagmai. Leo is Alex's trusted correspondent in Rome. Since Alex knows zero himself and Leo can spout and sell himself like crazy he has become the font of all wisdom on things Vatican. But I checked Leo out a while back, he claims insider sources but really he is just surfing the web and picking up tit bits like the rest of us. Basically he is an internet gossip. He does not have first hand sources he just googles like the rest of us and dresses it up for poor Alex in the Planet Pluto Club.

Poor Alex has totally fallen for his line of chat.

Another problem with Alex Jones, is besides the fact he knows zero about the Church, is that he mixes politics and religion up far, far too much for my liking.

I feel a;little sorry for the poor man and all like him, he was probably fed this nonsense since childhood. He is just regurgitating it.

He has been right on some very big things involving corruption in Washington. He used to be dismissed as a conspiracy theorist but now people are starting to listen. I think he is mostly a PT Barnum with some political savvy thrown in.

 

He has probably had no respect for the Catholic Church since he was young, you are probably right on that, Padraig. And now, it is growing more obvious every day to the uninitiated that there is something wrong in the Vatican. And I agree with AED, he has been right before. I do not sit down and watch him, although sometimes I will see a quote from him on a topic.

 

Yes he is right about the Illuminati, but I am afraid his anti Catholicism makes me kinda reach for the off switch.

 

Yes, I shut him off a few years ago when I first heard him spouting off about Catholics.

 

I am afraid we Catholics tend to be soft about such stuff. If he were to attack Jewish folks in the way he attacks us they would have taken him to court and closed him down.

There seems to be a general attitude of, 'Catholics are good for it' , and make soft targets. No one lightly attacks Judaism or Islam, they would be too afraid. To some extent this is our own fault, I am afraid.

These people can say the most incredible outrageous things and know they will get away with it.

I have to say that Judaism continues to be attacked and to hugely violent degrees and it's growing (again) throughout the world. Those who wish to hide their backgrounds and have submitted more and more to the world...to fit in...for whatever benefits....are too learning that that doesn't work either. They are having to flee European countries lately as well due to the growing anti-Semitism...again. True followers of Christ (which hopefully the Catholic Church will continue to be the symbol of...as throughout history) will always be linked to their "Judeo-Christian" substance. So why should we be surprised that these two groups in particular should be targeted by Satan and those he's worked his ways with within the splintered body since the "protest" against this representative Church. After all, Satan IS the prince of THIS world and thus has been given authority therein as scripture attests to. And he noticed, for the first time, that his power within this world (the 3rd heaven) began to be lessened at the Crucifixion. That's when he learned the purpose of this Perfect Man Whom he was only told by the Father, in His plan, would come eventually through the Woman, and such plan Satan refused to serve. And Satan continued to feel his power lessen with each authentic follower of this Christ since....until that power granted him is matched by such blood of the martyrs in so many variable ways. So I'd be more concerned when such means of this world's power ISN'T targeting what is the truth in these particular segments who know that it's only the soul that Satan is truly interested in....he could care less about the body except for using it to get to the soul. Often times knee jerk responses to such attacks are due more to fear for the safety of the body especially if there is no certainty within, about where one's soul stands. Even in silence....as the Mother kept things in her heart, we can have that confidence. I haven't been seeing her ordering revolt but instead to keep an inner peace, praying praying praying, and to set good examples to others. If we join with the wisdom of this Heart we withstand the tyranny as She did.

St. Faustina was told that the world will have no peace until it recognizes and comes to trust in God's Mercy. Now this is a fact given to the Church...in fact, recognized by the Church via JPII....and the Church is ordered to recognize this Feast publicly in every parish. But since the Church, in its universal form has deliberately failed to do this it is in grave sin against the faithful. It must repent itself because it is called upon first to do so. The Holy Spirit cannot live in a sinful body. Since the Church has not and continues not to act whether it be in what Fatima has revealed for its future as well as so many other heavenly "interferences" for the sake of humanity, it must be purified to great depths....along with the world which naturally follows in its own rebellion to which nature itself is reflecting since nature still is ordered by the established universal laws that continue in the Mind of the Father. It almost seems that those of the world are coming to recognize such awakenings of nature/cosmos against man's rebellion before the "institutional" Church. So now the true Body is coming to be "mystically" recognized within the hearts of every "solid one" be they remaining within the Body of Christ, knowingly, as well as those through whatever circumstances have, as St. Paul mentioned, continued to honor the law written on their hearts and abide by that understanding.

And this present reality of where things stand now is, I think, why our Lady is greatly concerned and almost ordering for the sake of salvation, the Consecration of each Heart to her Heart....and to do this every day now. Because the Church has not carried out this mandate for the sake of the world, with times now being very late and bringing with it those predictions of so many souls continuing to be lost, our Mother is looking out for us Herself....UNTIL that time that will eventually come, but VERY LATE in the lives of all of her children when the Church will finally come to repent and beg for Mercy....and finally allow her Immaculate Heart to be seen as that refuge for humanity. Then God will act as promised.

 

Well, we follow Our Lord's example. We know He has it under control. Look what they said about Him. "Blessed are you when men revile you and persecute you for My sake"
I am in no way excusing the behaviors, however. I agree that it is outrageous and uncalled for.

 

Yes, anti- semiticism does indeed exist. Of course it does.
