Oh yes. We are on the knife's edge and rainbow flags are flying on federal land here in the US. It boggles the mind. I saw a pic in the news. Rainbow flags and a demonstrator holding a sign "if Jesus comes back kill Him again". So horrifying I can barely write it. Just...Come Lord Jesus!!!!
This country is so screwed up. We have lost our entire moral compass. I was driving behind a car the other day and it had a bumper sticker on it that read: "Celebrate Diversity" In and of itself not a bad message. I do live in a country with many different races and so building respect for each other is not a bad thing. The message however was placed over a rainbow flag. The kind with six bars and not seven. So in reality this seemingly friendly wording was pushing a different agenda. It was obviously referring to a select group who must be celebrated. In essence the bumper sticker was saying we should celebrate those who perpetrate homosexual acts. A more proper reading of the bumper sticker would have been: "Celebrate sodomy" Is it any wonder that we are under judgement? We are not only putting up with those who break God's laws. We are glorifying them.
IM getting an uneasy feeling about this weekend. Mr "stop talking about dates" is starting to feel like the 100th anniversary of the sun could be big. I know, don't worry. Pray. Confession. Eucharist. Still..... feeling uneasy. I put on a HUGE event for high school athletes in my state every year, and the date of it this year is on Friday, Oct 13th. It always consumes my time the week leading up to it. Now I am getting worried that I'm wasting this week when I should be spending time with my babies. But I also know I am not supposed to live in fear/worry so need to keep working on this event as close to 2000 will be there for the event.

Dean, We need you to be Mr "stop talking about dates" it gives us balance, plus you probably will be right and nothing will happen this Friday except for a celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Miracle of the Sun at Fatima and your event for high school athletes. God may be waking up those who need to be woken up and that is all.

I heard a reporter say tonight that the strong wind spreading the fires is named "Diablo". And just found this: The culprit for this particular wildfire is a weather phenomenon called the “Diablo winds” in Northern California, after Mt. Diablo in the eastern Bay Area. (The same phenomenon is called the “Santa Ana winds” in Southern California, after Mt. Dean, though it is generally a good policy not to get hung up on dates. The 100 year time limit was alluded to by Our Lord. So this is not just something that Sally down the corner is telling us to watch out for. Sister Lucy was told about this allusion explicitly in one of her visions. So though we don't know when the 100 years began, you have a right to at least be concerned. Generally it is suspected that the 100 years might have begun in 1884, 1917 or 1929, but it really could have begun in 1922, 1938, or any other time, we really don't know. If it makes you feel any better a saint (sorry I forget who) was once playing pool because it was his designated time for recreation. One of his fellows asked him what he would do if that was the last day. He said he would keep on playing pool because that was what he was supposed to be doing at that time. Remember one of the things we are supposed to do is perform our daily duties in life. There is great merit in doing them, especially if they are offered up in love of God and in service to Him. If you are supposed to be working on this event then do it in honor of Our Lady. I am sure that would make her Son very happy And if you can squeeze in a confession. Mass, or Rosary that would be lovely too
I think we're all a bit on edge. I heard a different version than Praetorian's about the saint who was asked what he would do if he knew the world was about to end. I think the saint in my version was St. Francis of Assisi and he said he would keep on working in his vegetable patch. I'm not sure why we should expect something to happen on the 13th October if the consecration of Russia was accepted in Heaven. If the consecration wasn't acceptable, then I'm more inclined to the view that any punishment won't come until the 100th anniversary of the actual request by Our Lady which won't be for another few years. Hope your event is very successful.
Let's take a revisit to what our Lord himself said about the 100 years. Our Lord himself appeared to Sr. Lucia in 1931 in Rianjo, Spain to give voice to His displeasure that His Mother's request had been ignored. Our Lord said, in part: "Make it known to My ministers, given that they follow the example of the King of France in delaying the execution of My command, they will follow him into misfortune. It is never too late to have recourse to Jesus and Mary." And again later: "They did not wish to heed My request! ... Like the King of France they will repent of it, and they will do it, but it will be late. Russia will have already spread its errors in the world, provoking wars and persecutions against the Church. The Holy Father will have much to suffer." The allusion of Our Lord to the misfortune of King of France is a reference to the request made by Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque on June 17, 1689, to the King of France to consecrate that country to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. A request that went unheeded by the King and a century of successors. Now here is where things get interesting. 100 years later from the consecration request to the day, the King of France lost his power and subsequently lost his head. On June 17, 1789, a National Assembly stripped King Louis XVI of his power and he met the guillotine a few years later. It seems since the request was made in 1917, this is would be the start of the 100 years, just as it was with the King of France. Don't have long to wait to see if this is true.... just hours from now.
So the request was made in 1917 but the warning was issued in 1931? Suddenly I'm not feeling so laid back about the 13th. Then again, we don't know for sure that St. John Paul's attempt at the consecration wasn't accepted in Heaven.
Take a look around you, at the world and the state of the Church, and you’ll have your answer, unfortunately.
Actually Our Lady appeared to Sister Lucy at Tuy, Spain in 1929 to request the Consecration of Russia. The lack of the Consecration being carried out 2 years later caused Our Lord to appear in Rianjo and draw the allusion between the two. So if we are going to connect the request of the Consecration of France and the Consecration of Russia then we most likely have to go from the date the request was actually made. That is 1929. Here is what happened in 1929 at Tuy Spain: Sister Lucy describes the communication: June 13, 1929). I had requested and obtained permission from my superiors and my confessor to make a holy hour from 11:00 p.m. to midnight, from Thursday to Friday of each week. Finding myself alone one night, I knelt down near the Communion rail, in the middle of the chapel, to recite the prayers of the Angel, lying prostrate ... Feeling tired, I got up and continued to recite them with my arms in the form of a cross. The only light was that of the [sanctuary] lamp. Suddenly, the whole chapel lit up with a supernatural light and on the altar appeared a cross of light which reached the ceiling. In a clearer light, on the upper part of the cross, could be seen the face of a man with His body to the waist, on His chest a dove, equally luminous; and nailed to the cross, the body of another man. A little below the waist [of Christ on the cross], suspended in the air, could be seen a Chalice and a large Host, onto which some drops of Blood were falling, which flowed from the face of the Crucified One and from the wound in His breast. Running down over the Host, these drops fell into the Chalice. Under the right arm of the cross was Our Lady with Her Immaculate Heart in Her hand ... (She appeared as Our Lady of Fatima, with Her Immaculate Heart in Her left hand, without sword or roses, but with a crown of thorns and flames) under the left arm [of the cross], in large letters, like crystalline water which flowed over the altar, forming these words: "Grace and Mercy". I understood that the mystery of the Most Holy Trinity was shown to me, and I received lights about this mystery which I am not permitted to reveal. Then Our Lady said to me: ‘The moment has come in which God asks the Holy Father to make, in union with all the bishops of the world, the consecration of Russia to My Immaculate Heart, promising to save it by this means. So numerous are the souls which the justice of God condemns for sins committed against Me, that I come to ask for reparation. It was accepted, but it did not fulfill the Fatima request for Russia. Other credible prophecy has it delaying God's justice, but did not satisfy the Fatima request.
Of course I cannot say which of these dates might be the actual start of the 100 years, it would seem to me to be 1929 because Our Lady appeared specifically to ask for the Consecration of Russia in that year. Since the Two Hearts are intertwined then it would follow that what happened with the Sacred Heart in the request for the Consecration of France would be mirrored with the Immaculate Heart and the request for the Consecration of Russia. Or it may be another secret date we do not know.
And then there is the time period of 75-100 years that the Lord granted to the devil to wreck the Holy Catholic Church, according to the vision of Pope Leo XIII. Some folks say the 100 years started in 1917. Bears watching, as well. I would venture to say that, at this point, it was a highly successful wrecking job.
