Understood and agreed. Especially re the age and Strength of Pope Emeritus Benedict. Other things in future can of course cause the "revolution in the Vatican.," when a Pope returns from Moscow. I just thought with Pope Francis at this time there is some confusion re the Amoris Laetitia Document thus the request for a "Formal Correction." Yes with his successor as the Pope that goes to Moscow would then be something else that causes this "Vatican Revolution." Time will tell. Peace.

You see Glenn, and you know this full well, Joey always said, Be careful and make sure what you want is truly what you want, because God and Mary can grant it-like the times Women would ask and Pray for children because of none for years. And they would kiss the medal and asked Joey for prayers.

Then they begged Joey after God granted 3-4-5 children: "Joey turn it off! Please TURN IT OFF!":)
Mary didn't grant you your request 1X You received it THREE Fold! Amazing! And yet expected if compatible with Their will! Peace. God Bless!!!

    Glenn,

Not to be a spoil-sport and take away from the confirmations, but all the lines above the paragraph in question, are in quotes. Whose the speaker, do you know?

Safe in the Refuge of the Immaculate Heart!

Sorry for the confusion. I'm not questioning the confirmations, Glenn, I 'm changing the subject. I noticed these statements above with quotation marks and was wondering if they were actually quotes, and if so, by whom.

I understand now. My English is pretty bad so I can not understand everything. I am convinced that Amoris Laetitia Document and Dubia will not be the reason for the revolution but much more political abuses. Still, you can be right. We will have to wait.

    The Blessed Virgin’s “ Fool “

A day to remember for its spiritual teaching. The ecstasy this Monday led Mari Loli and Conchita to Alfonso’s place, the one who was nicknamed, rather unkindly , “the Village’s fool “. Having made the sign of the cross over his pillow and offered him the crucifix to kiss, the two visionaries explained the reasons for their gestures.
“ The Blessed Virgin told us , ‘ You hold him in contempt, but I love him’ “

TODAY IN GARABANDAL HISTORY SEPTEMBER 17, 1961:

A DISCREET "PRESENCE" OF ST. FRANCIS OF ASSISI!

Here again, we set the following scene approximately on this Sunday, then also the Feast of the "Stigmata of St. Francis of Assisi": Conchita, in ecstasy, is holding in her hand her small crucifix which appeared then to witnesses as "surrounded by a brilliant light."

Padre Pio’s letter to the Girls

On March 3rd, 1962, the four young visionaries, Conchita, Mari Loli, Jacinta, and Mari Cruz received an anonymous letter in San Sebastián de Garabandal. The incident has been conveyed by Dr. Celestino Ortiz, a trustworthy witness. Fr. Eusebio García de Pesquera, in his book, "She Went with Haste to the Mountain," narrates the story. He explains it as follows:
“Félix López, a former student of the Major Seminary in Derio (Bilbao, Spain) and later professor in the school in Garabandal, was gathered together with a few others in the kitchen in Conchita’s house. The girl had received a letter that she did not understand, and, therefore, asked Félix to translate it for her. It was written in Italian, and Félix, after reading it, said, «Based on his way of writing, it could be from Padre Pío».” Conchita asked if he knew Padre Pío’s address and, receiving an affirmative response, asked if he would help her write a letter responding to Padre Pío and thanking him.

Having finished the letter, they left it on the kitchen table unfolded. A short time later, Conchita entered into ecstasy and was praying the Rosary. When she returned to her normal stated Félix asked: “Did you ask Our Lady if the letter was from Padre Pío?" “Yes, and she gave me a secret response to send to him." The girl went up to her room, returning a little while later with a written note in her hand. In the presence of everyone she stuck the note in the envelope, which the professor had already addressed to Padre Pío, and then sealed it. The letter which had arrived to Conchita, without signature or return address but with Italian postage, said the following:
    My Dear Girls:
At 9 o’clock in the morning, the Most Holy Virgin asked me to communicate to you the following: “Oh blessed girls of San Sebastián de Garabandal! I promise you that I will be with you until the end of time, and you will be with me at the end of the world and after, together with me in the glory of Paradise." I am sending this copy of the Holy Rosary of Fatima that Our Lady asked me to send you. The Rosary was composed by Our Lady and should be made known for the salvation of sinners and for the preservation of humanity from the terrible chastisements that the good God is threatening. I would advise you to pray and make others pray because the world is on the road to perdition. They don’t believe in you or your conversations with the Lady in White now, but they will believe when it is too late.

TODAY IN GARABANDAL HISTORY SEPTEMBER 19, 1962:
    "COMMUNISM" IS MENTIONED AGAIN . . .
ON THIS ANNIVERSARY DAY OF THE
    "APPARITIONS OF LA SALETTE"

Mari-Loli and Jacinta again mentioned the theme of communism. A theme suited to the occasion on this anniversary of the apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary at La Salette, on September 19, 1846. We know that certain elements of Melanie's famous secret indeed concerned the great evil of communism that was then soon to begin to spread more and more throughout the world . . .
As they came out of their ecstasy, the two visionaries did not want to disclose Our Lady's words: these were certainly related to the very difficult period of time of the Pre-Aviso. It was only in 1978 that Mari-Loli and Jacinta confirmed the fact that Mary had really spoken to them of communism and had done so on more than one occasion.

As we are honoring St. Pio this week, I thought I should remind people while most of the time he was a serious man, he did have a sense of humor too.

In March 1962, in answer to the first letter received from the Saint Padre, Conchita spontaneously and naively suggested to him that he come to Garabandal to visit her . . . : "Do you think that I can travel about like that, according to my whim, and why not like Santa Claus, and come down the chimney into your home?", the Capuchin retorted, amused.

A university student once asked Padre Pio: "Does God exist?" The Padre responded with a question of his own: "Are you crazy?"

I love this answer from Padre Pio. A woman asked him if his wounds were painful. He answered " they are not here for decoration".

One woman told him "Padre, I am 63 today tell me something nice." and he whispered "Death is near"

One day the friar who was accompanying him pointed out a gentleman, a famous writer who had traveled all the way from Milan in order to meet him. “What a fine thing you have come to see, all the way from Milan. Don’t you have a prayer book at home ? You could have saved yourself a long trip. A Hail Mary is worth more than any journey, my son”.

Once in reply to someone who was trying to make him see the difficulty that some people have in practicing the word of God Padre Pio said “there are three things in life that are completely useless – washing a donkey’s head, adding water to the ocean and preaching to nuns, monks and priests”.
