Albrecht Weber writes in his book "the finger of God" / "Der Zeigefinger Gottes" on page 155 on Millenarianism (chiliasm). His father, Theodor Weber, was an evangelical theologian who was fond of this subject. In his book, Albrecht Weber has liked to interpret Garabandal and tried to show a connection. This is, in my opinion, a weakness of his book. Perhaps he wanted to honor his father. Of course, there ist nothing in the book about his views on Pope Francis. A Bartholomäus Holzhauser says that after the resignation of Pope Benedict, Albrecht Weber told him that the last pope came only after the 1000-year peace period. http://www.prophezeiungsforum.de/forum/mix_entry.php?id=4522 A reader of the Aviso blog has met Albrecht Weber in Garabandal in 2014 and Albrecht Weber said: “That this pope was not a good pope, and he did not like him” (...) https://garabandalnews.org/2017/06/03/in-memory-of-albrecht-weber/ I want to clear myself clearly from these Statements (opinions). Garabandal will be understood with time. Albrecht Weber is an outstanding and eloquent witness, but I do not share all of his interpretations. Some of them have brought him into trouble, I think.
Steven, Thank you for all of your input. I will need to Google translate the information on the first link that you provided, a nice project for tomorrow. I know that you posted that "The Pope Will Go To Moscow" is not in Albrecht Weber's book, that would be the German edition, correct? Is the German edition the original edition? This is obviously Mr. Weber's native language and makes sense. If you don't mind me stating this because I do not have the book so I can not check this but I think that the following link states that this prophecy is in the book on page 143, https://whatisgarabandal.wordpress.com/2013/06/28/what-is-garabandal-the-pope-will-go-to-russia/ . (???) I did find a statement about this on Aviso's blog here, https://garabandalnews.org/2016/02/06/garabandal-the-pope-and-russia/, which confirms that Mr. Weber stated that he heard from another source that the Pope will go to Russia. I also think that it is Aviso's opinion that Pope Francis will not be the Pope going to Moscow, I believe on the basis that Aviso does not believe Pope Francis is a valid Pope. (???) I do see your point in attempting to confirm whether this is a prophecy of Garabandal or not, especially before the Warning occurs. I also agree with John T, as you have also stated, that the messages are the most important things. In addition, I agree with your statement that, "Garabandal will be understood with time." Thank you again in advance.
A Priest witness http://www.ourlady.ca/stories/frEliseoBuedodeHier.htm "In one of these marches Mari Loli lost a slipper. We felt pity for her and tried to put it back on her foot. We failed. We couldn't lift her or her foot. In the presence of many bystanders, the pastor from Portugalete tried to lift Conchita from the ground after she had fallen on her knees in ecstasy. He could not lift her at all."
Albrecht Weber was German and to my knowledge he has only published his book "the finger of God" / "Der Zeigefinger Gottes" in German language. I have the 2nd and last extended Edition from the author himself and personally handed over by him. Maybe I can still find the first issue. The German edition is the original Edition of Albrecht Weber (without doubt). I can not imagine that Albrecht Weber would have created an English language version with extended text (pope/Moscow). As a publisher, he would have offered the English-language book immediately on the Internet. The book on page 143 (2nd Edition, WETO-Verlag) does not contain a statement about a papal visit to Moscow. The trip to Moscow by the Pope is not in this book, but there are other sources, one of them is an interview, but unfortunately the sources are missing. Also the website is controversial. https://gloria.tv/article/WxoYhU2XsYcp1F1wzuTaRvaLu I do not share certain views from authors.
Steven, Thank you so much for answering my questions. I find this topic a little confusing and I apologize for the lack of clarity in my other post. So this prophecy of the "Pope Going to Moscow" appears to have only passed down verbally, I suppose, from both Albrecht Weber and Monsieur Lefevbre. Well, it is stated that they said "the Pope will go to Russia". From Aviso, "Indeed and thanks to this important detail given to us in the 90s by our Good Friend and Garabandalist Albrecht Weber, confirmed to me later by another credible source, a close friend of father Laffineur, Monsieur Lefevbre to whom this detail has been indicated in the 70s as well, “the Pope will go to Russia“.... https://garabandalnews.org/2016/02/06/garabandal-the-pope-and-russia/ Thank you once again.
Yes, thank you, I've also read. The possibility of a trip to Moscow from the pope is possible, even by Pope Francis and if not, then by his successor.
TODAY IN GARABANDAL HISTORY : SEPTEMBER 15, 1961: The "film of sinners" unfolds before the eyes of Mari-Cruz and Conchita! THE "FILM OF SINNERS" In the two Messages of Garabandal, the prediction of the Chastisement that will strike the entire human race, if the latter persists in its immoral behavior, strongly expresses what Msgr. Beitia Aldazabal, the principle titular bishop of Santander at the time of the apparitions and locutions, called "the doctrine of God offended by our sins." This expression occurs eight hundred times in the Bible. In the Old Covenant, it is already associated with the holiness of God. Horror of sin was instilled in the girls from the beginning of the apparitions by a Marian catechesis sustained and, at times, even highlighted with very painful ecstasies bearing on the iniquity of the world and the ordeals it would create. While awaiting original complementary documents, we set this terrifying vision, during which the Blessed Virgin showed the "film of sinners" to the visionaries, on September 15, Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows. Then the terrified protestations of the children were heard: "No, no! , , , What horror! How hideous! Take that away (from our sight) . . . Yes, sacrifices (for sinners)! . . ." And in pathetic attitudes of pleading, they called on Divine Mercy. [Excerpted from 'Garabandal' Book, page 105]
Don't try to fool our Blessed Mother ! Two couples approached Conchita and gave her four wedding rings, so that in her next ecstasy she would give them to be kissed by the Virgin. As Conchita offered the rings to Our Lady, she was heard to say: "You don't want to kiss them? But I don't understand. Ah! So I have to tell them to straighten out their lives and be good?" After the ecstasy, Conchita returned the rings to the man who had given them to her and told him and his companions what the Virgin had said. He was very embarrassed and said, "We came here to prove Garabandal was false if the girls gave us back the rings on our fingers, because none of us are married and we only bought the rings for this occasion." In another story, While in ecstasy the girls used to give wedding rings to Our Lady to kiss, and then always looking upwards and guided by the Virgin, they would return the wedding rings placing them directly on the fingers of the owners, never making a mistake, even though sometimes the husband would be on one side of the room and the wife on the other. On one occasion, while returning wedding rings to a couple, Mari Loli in ecstasy, was heard to say: "Why do I have to put this on the left hand? Ah, because they are from Valencia!" (that was their custom ). Reprinted with kind permission from GARABANDAL JOURNAL, MAY-JUNE 2003 View attachment 6795
GREAT NEWS ! The Blessed Mother must have been listening in. Out of nowhere , author Thomas Fahy called me today to talk. This very topic came up ! Tom confirmed to me, that when he interviewed Albrecht Weber in 2006 for research for his book "Suddenly and Unexpectedly", Albrecht told him that when the Pope returns from Moscow " there would be a revolution at the Vatican", and involving Northern Spain,Italy & France, from the advance of " Communism ". I still don't know how the story started about it being his book, but at least Tom is a credible witness in my eyes.
Hi Glenn. Well I have that book. You and I have both read it. I'm sure others have as well. That book describes exactly what the title infers. So to have that information confirming the Pope going to Moscow, etc., brings clarity and more recent concrete evidence to this topic. Of course it's with ambivalence that this confirmation is good being that "Communism "coming again" and attempting to cause Persecutions & God knows what else-is bad obviously. However as we know-"things will be at its worst" leading up to the time of the Warning! May God bring us safely through these times. Peace & God Bless all here! Thanks Glenn!!!
EDIT OF MY ABOVE POST . I did not mention that I took the phone call while driving in my car (hands free bluetooth ), and was scribbling quick letters and notes from our conversation. When I got home I went back over the notes ,and saw a large "V" in a quote, meaning "there would be a revolution at the Vatican". I have corrected the above post. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Wow. That changes it a bit especially(but only if the Pope that goes to Moscow is our current Pope or Pope Emertius-meaning the time we are living now) being that we currently have the remaining 2 Dubia Cardinals producing a "formal correction" of this current Pope and awaiting His response! Prayers! Time will tell!
It is speculative, but in my opinion it can only be Pope Francis or one of his successors. The resignation of Pope Benedict is fact and taken from heaven. Pope Benedict does not have any more strength for it. This has little to do with the problem of "Dubia". There is no reference in Garabandal to a second pope in retirement who goes to Moscow.
In fact, a very good turn in this matter. Many Thanks. The circumstances (Revolution, Communism), however, are tragic.
WOW, Mary has been busy today, I just received an email from Barry Hanratty, who was the Editor of the " GARABANDAL" magazine for Joey Lomangino and the NY Center. Barry has also CONFIRMED that when he interviewed Weber in the 1990's at the NY Center, he said basically the same thing about the pope and Moscow. I know Barry personally, and worked with him for years at the NY Center, and in my opinion I hold him in the HIGHEST regard.
