I walked along the river yesterday a Sunday, it was so beautiful and quiet and walked straight into Belfast's Gay Pride day, some 5,000 people, including Ireland's Prime Minister who is himself a self proclaimed homosexual. Such sadness all these young people and children too bedecked in the rainbow colours. Perverts and the supporters of sexual perversion and all doomed to go to the fires of hell unless they repent, which given our societies return to a Godless paganism seems very unlikely. I felt so alone walking among them. So sad and sorry for them all. But I knew that if they suspected for one second my feeling towards perversion they would have considered me an insane red necked bigot and yes I would , I suspect have been in considerable physical danger. It is the children that always amaze me padraig. All of the video's I see have them in the front of the crowds witnessing first hand the depravity and celebration of this sin. It is my hope that the Lord will have mercy and pity on these children, igniting in them a conscious burned into their hearts by the Holy Spirit.

You know our Bishops have a Prophetic role in all this. They should of course be speaking out and simply saying how gravely sinful this all is and offensive to God. Seocndly they should be warning us that we inviting God's Wrath on our City, Our Country and our world. They are not doing so, they are remaining silent or even collaborating with this evil. Why? ...and yet people remain silent in the face of this great evil in the name of tolerance, mercy, charity and kindness. Yest if we were to someone leap from a building to their death below we would do all that we could to stop them. On the other hand when we see poor people running to the Eternal Fires of Hell we remain silent in the false name of mercy and tolerance. The real truth being that we do not truly believe in hell, judgement or that what they are doing is really evil at all. The lesson from Scripture though, from places like Sodom and Gomorrah is that Judgement follows the four sins that cry to God for Vengeance, such as Sodomy as surely as night follows day. But why is this? Why does God pursue this particular sin with wrath, seeking to wipe it out? I believe it is because it is a contagious sin and rapidly spreads like a poison to destroy all of society, like a gangrene or poison. When I was young there was not a single homosexual establishment in the entire city. Now they have an entire quarter with new establishments spring up all the time.
The crux of the problem is there is no fear of the Lord anymore. "The beginning of wisdom is fear of the Lord" the book of Wisdom tells us. Well, there you go, there is little wisdom left on earth at this moment. The devil has sowed his seed of indifference to God and to his justice. He has sown his seed of pleasure all over the world. If anyone has had a child that has chosen the world over truth and goodness, you have a glimpse of what God feels towards all his children. Patient for the moment, but his strong hand will come down upon the butts of his children and a good spanking we will get. I fear it is not far off. The good and the bad will suffer for sins of the world soon enough.

Go good diagnosis Padraig. It is a pernicious sin that violates nature and our bodies and God's great gift of co-creation through human love in the Sacrament of marriage. Even the fallen angels are disgusted so one of the saints tell us. People don't speak up because they are cowed by the culture. I don't say much because a few close family members are embroiled in this. I have spoken but very very lovingly. That seemed to be what the Holy Spirit led me to. I kept hearing an inner voice saying "a bruised reed--be careful" so I tried to be gentle but such is the nature of this distortion in thinking (demonic to the core) they can't hear me. If I shouted they wouldn't hear. This I am convinced has to be fought on the spiritual level with much prayer and sacrifice. One soul at a time until Our Lady comes.
Yes I too am drawn to speak ever so gently and lovingly, as to not create a total separation between God and his children. Mary please bring your triumph quickly so that we are all brought into the fullness of your son's most holy wounds.
I have a few gay family members. I love them both. One of which says that he had a mystical experience while walking home after work at the bar he tends. A beautiful woman dressed in African traditional dress appeared to him and told him how much God loved him and wished for his return to him. She asked to pray for him. I hope that he asked the Lord into his heart that night and prayed with her. And how I hope that the Holy Spirit convicts him and he is met with divine opposition to his choices when he stumbles so that he comprehends just how much God loves him. I pray that he receives the grace necessary to understand and repent from his disobedience and let the Lord shoulder this cross. There are many souls out there who are not hearing the message of hope of the Faith. I sometimes wonder if God has simply hardened the hearts in our people and has allowed our leaders to diminish. Giving people over to their desires as the Apostle Paul spoke about. It seems that there are so few who are willing to suffer for God anymore. Now and then a ray of light comes along who stands in the face of all this and is persecuted for it. I think this reminds me that we do not make our journey alone we make it as a people. Thye talk of the Church Militant. Which reminds me of an army. If some of our officers, our leaders go over to the other side for instance or the comrades who fight alongside us no longer believe the fight is worth the candle. When Pope St John Paul sat in the Chair of Peter things were very different. We had a spiritual father we and leadership we could rely on . We had an army, so to speak that was lock stepped together. But this is no longer true at all. I met a gentleman from Paris one time who fought against the Nazis in the French Resistance. I found this so interesting and thought it must have been wonderful for him with the people of France having his back so to speak against an occupying German power ;as in the films. Not so , he said. The French Resistance were a tiny, tiny minority, hated feared and despised by their fellow countrymen as terrorists, criminals and trouble makers. Everyone's had is turned against them. Even within the Resistance itself there were spies and informers and the Communist Resistance hated them even more than the Germans did. The Church now reminds me of this. No longer an army marching in step but a tiny band that soldiers on. Betrayed and backstabbed on every side ,even by their leaders. As to hell. Well I suspect that hell will be filled with very nice people. Very nice people who simply decided they did not want to follow God and do as He bid them. When we look at the saints , well in the eyes of the world they were often not nice people at all and that is why the world hated them. More and more we become a small band of brothers and sisters....
